...When juggling kids, family, home, school and work?
I know, I know, feeble effort, but I really don't know where my year has gone! Its towards the end of February now, past half term for most of us, and I don't even seem to have blinked!
We were celebrating DH's birthday today, and I'm sure he had his last one only a couple of months ago, or thats how it seems to me.
As for the years since my 2 were born, well, they seem to have gone in a blink of an eye.

Rubester I dont know how to do 'no regrets' - when I hear people say that I always think 'hows that possible' - its kind of impossible....isin't it? How do I say 'I dont regret staying in this situation???' because that would be a fib....I suppose I should really 'put up or shut up' as the mighty Jezzer Kyle says!!! If anybody knows how you can really say 'I dont regret anything' and really, really mean it will you tell me? Smile

If life was perfect though, I think we wouldn't appreciate the good parts...

I am ridiculously and stupidly selfless Rubester. I blame my Mum for teaching me that. I never get anything for myself - ever. I sometimes have some spare money and think I will go and get some new clothes. Then I think Tom or DK need them more Hmm its a very bad habit I got into a long time ago. Its pathetic. I think I need to go and lie down in a dark room Grin with my straightjacket on!!

bubby64 · 27/02/2012 10:19

What i wish I had done differently - well, not really anything that much, as, if I had done, I wouldn't have met my DH and have my boys. I had my chosen career, travelled the world when younger, had some, shall we say "interesting" relationships. My one big regret was wasting 5 yrs of my life with a lying, cheating b$**d, who left me with a feeling of low self worth and deep debt, but if that hadn't have happened, I wouldn't have taken on the extra part time work, where I met DH. Its a funny old world, when you think about it.

Having a further think, another big regret is not going to seek help sooner after we had the boys and we were struggling to concieve for a 2nd time. After the treatment I fell for my girlie angels, but after we lost them, again we waited too long before trying to get help, by which time nothing simple like clomid worked and we were too old for any other help on the NHS, and we couldnt afford private. I have always had that niggling feeling that my family is incomplete, but there is nothing I can do now, I am 47 and in the peri-menapause, so its all too late.

Oh my............we are in a funny mood today.................hmmm regrets.
I regret feeling as I do about my life now. I know I cannot undo what is done, but I fight against that all the time. Shabs, you and I have had two lives. I know those of you who have ex dks may feel that also, but I so miss my old life, it was happy, there was no stress. I dont regret having triplets at 46, despite the fact when I get tired I am told "well you had them".I suppose my biggest regret is feeling how I do about dk, he cannot help being older than me, he cannot help having cancer but I find him very hard to live with now. There, said.............done.

LOL Grin

shabbapinkfrog · 28/02/2012 14:05

Oh another fun filled day Hmm Dimitrias has left I now have a Greek lady dentist??? Aint it weird how all my silly phobias came back when I saw I had a new dentist? Im not scared at all of pain...but am terrified of needles. I have an hereditry bone disease which is affecting my gums. It can be controlled but it will mean going once a month to the dentist so they can do a deep clean on them. I really try hard to look after my teeth but seems they will have to help as well. Its hereditry but she said its connected with hormones? When I said my problems with my teeth began after my last child she asked how old I was when I had him. 'Almost 41' said I....she grinned and blamed our poor Tom Grin

Feel like an owd donkey now - one of them you see in a field and think 'Awww look at that knackered donkey!!!' Im ever so slightly peed off - can you tell?
