...When juggling kids, family, home, school and work?
I know, I know, feeble effort, but I really don't know where my year has gone! Its towards the end of February now, past half term for most of us, and I don't even seem to have blinked!
We were celebrating DH's birthday today, and I'm sure he had his last one only a couple of months ago, or thats how it seems to me.
As for the years since my 2 were born, well, they seem to have gone in a blink of an eye.

Morning girls xx

No need for that Trips - have only had about 3 hours sleep and I wasn't even tipsy!! Now Chellester on the other hand LOL xx

triplets · 26/02/2012 08:34

Did you have a good time though Shabs??

shabbapinkfrog · 26/02/2012 08:40

Aye not bad love. Couldn't get the Chellester out of Bolton and we were much later coming home than was originally planned. H is not amused, not happy at all. Was going to go into detail but its too fookin boring!!

triplets · 26/02/2012 08:42

Why, because you were late in, or because you did it and went out?

shabbapinkfrog · 26/02/2012 08:44

both....and also because I might as well live with Chellester because I spend more time with her than him!!!!! What a knob he is!

I love it, knob is about right! My one had a go at me this afternoon because he was using spray paint and de-greaser right outside the back door and the dog stepped in it and walked into the house! Apparently it was up to me to ensure she
a) didn't step in it, but should be able to fly over it (it was RIGHT outside the back door!)Hmm
b) I should have known it had happened from upstairs where i was changing bed linen and shut the living room door!HmmHmm
So we now have a house filled with fumes and greasy doggy footprints on our beige carpet.

Trips - why is it if The Knobs do any housework they get upset if it is not noticed and acknowledged straight away and buckets of praise given, and when we do it, it's hardly ever noticed, let alone, God Forgive, acknowledged or praised!!

Because they are knobs..................simple.
Mine has really cheesed me off tonight, yes he has worked hard today, but he had 3 large g&ts, never offered me a drink, then he has a long soak in the bath, then he had half a bottle of rose and slow roasted pork and the trimmings. I didnt get to sit down until 8pm, he came in and within 1 min was asleep, bloody booze, hate sitting there trying to watch telly with a nodding dog next to me..............bloody hate it.............knob!!

Morning girls xx

Hopstheduck · 27/02/2012 06:58

Morning girls.

My DK (dear knob) has actually been very well behaved this weekend! Not quite sure what has happened, but he put the kids tea on, on Friday without me asking. I went to pick our new bunnies and came back to find the kitchen sparkling and the ironing done Shock
He is usually pretty good tho, he doesn't mind housework, it's just the kids he can't stand. Grin

The boys are thrilled with their new pets. We have rehomed three girl bunnies. Their owner was very sad to see them go, but she, and her eldest son was allergic to them. DK ordered them a huge new home last night. He never had pets as a child, not really keen on small fluffy things usually, but he has surprised me, totally fallen for them, and decided their current two storey hutch was too small and not fox-proof enough!

I'd love a meet up, I had to back out of the last one cos of everything going on at the time Sad

shabbapinkfrog · 27/02/2012 07:05

PMSL @ meet up. I only went 2 miles into Bolton on Saturday night....only had a few drinks....if I had been breathalized I would have passed it....silent meals ever since...he has a face like a bulldog chewing a wasp. Meet up???? Not on your piggin' nelly. Selfish, nasty piece of pissin' work that he is......

shabbapinkfrog · 27/02/2012 07:14

OK thoughts needed from all of you. IF you knew then what you know now what would you do differently?

I would never have had such a long term boyfriend at such an early age. The 'Ginger pig' and I went out from about 13 years old to almost 18....bloody stupid. I have spent the last almost 40 years thinking about would everything have been better if we had met when we were older. Obviously I will never know that.

I would never, ever have drunk alcohol when I was younger. It clouds my views and makes me think that even Adolf Hitler was a cutie pie and didn't mean to hurt anyone.

I would never, ever have gone out with DK so soon after the GP finished with me. I would have listened to people who told me that his family were very rough and he would never amount to anything. I would have listened to my Mum who, on my wedding day, said I didn't have to go through with it.

I would have become a journalist - the one thing I always wanted to do. I would have never, ever, ever, ever started doing a part time cleaning job after I had the twins...sold myself down the bloody river there...,.after a while you start believing thats all you can do...and that is with no disrespect to the millions of women who do cleaning jobs.

Give me a bit and I will think of a dozen other things Grin..............

Hopstheduck · 27/02/2012 08:25

I don't really do regrets.

I do kinda wish I had finished my education rather than dropping out of uni, but then I wouldn't have met exh. And although he was a knob of the highest order, I wouldn't have had dd and ds1 had I not met him.

I would like my kids to live a bit before settling down, get an education, travel, whatever before being tied down with kids of their own. But then I'm quite glad that I did do it early, because even by the time the dts are 18, I'll be 44 and still young enough to travel and do stuff then!

I have loads of regrets - sometimes I wish I hadn't but, I have, and thats it!!!

I met Chellester about 7 years ago and she has made a big difference in my life. I just wish I had discovered 'Shabba' a long time ago. Her DS nicknamed me that and it has stuck.

I hope Tom does what you describe as your wishes for your children Hops....he already has the offer of working at the Venezia for the season once he has turned 18. The elderly man who built and owns the hotel said....'I will give you one of the hotel rooms, your drink and food, and a very small wage!! You will work long and hard but you will learn more about life in those 6 months than you would sat in college!!!' I hope he does it!!

shabbapinkfrog · 27/02/2012 08:55

You mean 'feel' Rubester? There are so many Grin - the best to describe my mood today is 'Karma Killer' - love the lyrics......'I hope you choke on your bacardi and coke' and 'Your so full of sin even the devil hates you!!!' ....and not forgetting 'Why dont you prop up the bar in hell!!!!!!!!!!!' LOL - just wait till Lew's mum comes for him - that will be playing full blast!!!

shabbapinkfrog · 27/02/2012 08:57
Hopstheduck · 27/02/2012 09:01

What a fantastic opportunity for Tom! I have family in Canada who always invited me to stay, I wish I had taken them up on that actually! We weren't actually that far from them in Indy, I wished we had the time to visit then.

I'm more of a gary barlow girl meself Wink

shabbapinkfrog · 27/02/2012 09:05

I will encourage him to do it - encourage him every minute of every day. OK Faliraki can be a bit like Blackpool with sunshine BUT he will get the chance to learn Greek properly, to work like he has never worked before, to form more friendships and hopefully to get drunk now and then and kiss quite a few girls Grin

All the time. I can barely remember when DD1 was a baby but in reality she's only bloody 3. What am I going to be like when she's 13?
