D'y ever wonder where the time goes....

...When juggling kids, family, home, school and work?
I know, I know, feeble effort, but I really don't know where my year has gone! Its towards the end of February now, past half term for most of us, and I don't even seem to have blinked!
We were celebrating DH's birthday today, and I'm sure he had his last one only a couple of months ago, or thats how it seems to me.
As for the years since my 2 were born, well, they seem to have gone in a blink of an eye.

Just sat on the beach wall in Faliraki....nobody about...too early in the year yet. Lots of local bars open and a few Greek restaurants. Warm enough to not have a cardi on. Just listening to the quiet night and the sea.

Im here Im here......................what a day, not a blardy minute to myself! Thank you all for my lovely messages, and Shabs...............loved the card, thank you my friend. Well day got off to rotten start, me and dk fell out as soon as we laid eyes on each other. I said "I have just said happy birthday to my 60 yr old skin" in a jovial manner. Dk said, "you ought to try being 70 with a tumour", in a not jovial manner. James was weepy and said he couldnt go back to school as he felt ill, Becca tried to swing the day off by saying she felt sick, was horrid to me, pushed my chair and stormed off to school. Thomas was a sweet boy and has been all day. At 10pm my best friend and husband appeared on my door, had driven all the way from Cornwall to surprise me and be with me on my b/day. Couldnt do much because of James but we have had a lovely day and I have drunk too much fizz and am knackered. Got my Steepletone record player from H and we have had a lovely evening in my shed playing oldies. So thats it.................I need some sleep.................................love you all xx

Trips - Have you emerged yet? Glad you had a nice time in the end -you deserve it. Your DK is just that, a knob! Turning 60 only happens on one day in a lifetime, I know he has enormous worries, but you have been worrying right there beside him, so just one day of you being the centre of attention was obviously too much for him and your DD to bear! Rant number 2 over!
Well - I am singing at my first concert with my new choir tonight- wish me luck girlies- the boys and DH wanted to come along to support me, but the tickets are £6 each with no child discount, so I couldnt justify the expense - we have other concerts booked, and I'm sure one of them will be a lot cheaper if they still want to see me catawauling!

Yep it has got me really wound up!!! I do have a drink and I do have 10 cigs that last me at least 2 bleedin' days. However I paid into 'the system' from being 16 to 40 (worked till I was 8months 3 weeks pregnant with Tom because I wasn't entitled to maternity pay) and DK worked from 14 to almost 50 years of age. We never claimed any benefits before he had his accident. It makes me feel worthless, a lesser citizen and a sponger - and I dont need snooty cows telling me not to smoke, drink, do the lottery or have the fookin' internet

Shabs don't bother for Saturday as I will be winning, save your £1 for next week!

Hi girlies feeling really good tonight..........bestest friend and her dh me and dk all went to the pub for a meal on her......................and dk was really lovely all night.............really good fun and for once seemed to be truly enjoying himself! Thank you all for your lovely messages, Shabs my first ever Moonpig card..............loved it:)
walked into town to me friends this morning, it was stunning along the beach. Met them at the pier, walked to the cafe at the end and sat for 4 hours in blistering sun and talked and talked................just lovely. Then I walked all the way home, 40 mins and uphill! She is going home tomorrow, will miss her:( Kale Nits ma petite poi xx
