...When juggling kids, family, home, school and work?
I know, I know, feeble effort, but I really don't know where my year has gone! Its towards the end of February now, past half term for most of us, and I don't even seem to have blinked!
We were celebrating DH's birthday today, and I'm sure he had his last one only a couple of months ago, or thats how it seems to me.
As for the years since my 2 were born, well, they seem to have gone in a blink of an eye.

I gonna sit here with my nice bottle of white Rioja and pretend I'm on a beach on the costa blanca

:(tomorrow is the last day of my 50s:( I cannot believe it......................I feel very nostalgic atm for all the lost years........ Not one single plan for my b/day................many many moons ago in another life time I said for my 60th I would go on the Orient Express from London to Venice.......................now its more like into town on the bus! Got one of my boys down with a bug, he came home with a headache and feels sick, has been asleep since 8.30pm................perfect timing. When it was my 50th we arranged for my brother and sil to stay here for 3 days whilst we went over to France with two friends, no children, they were 4. The night before my b/day the day we were going, James came out with chicken-pox. By 7am Thomas was also covered. I phoned my brother who said sorry but he felt they couldnt cope with them if they were ill.So we packed them up and took them with us! By 6pm we were sat in our part of the chateau, fizz by the fire................with then three spotty kids! What a birthday!

How is everyone?

Now on serious note.............finally got the call tonight from Kings in London, agony waiting all day. By 3pm we had heard nothing so I phoned and insisted that someone find out the result of the meeting y/day and ring us back. Its good news as far as we are concerned, the Pet scan confirmed one maligant tumour on his lung, not two as they said two weeks ago. They are going to treat it with ablation(burn it off) so no chemo necessary!!! They will follow that up with a ct scan 6 weeks later. He should get an appt in 3/4 weeks, then hopefully with abit more luck we will get a free Summer:)

I shall of course expect breakfast in bed.............

and a celebratory song or two...........

oh......and cake........LDC would be nice:)

and if anyone is passing M&S they do chocolate covered nuts at £1.09 a bag..
