...When juggling kids, family, home, school and work?
I know, I know, feeble effort, but I really don't know where my year has gone! Its towards the end of February now, past half term for most of us, and I don't even seem to have blinked!
We were celebrating DH's birthday today, and I'm sure he had his last one only a couple of months ago, or thats how it seems to me.
As for the years since my 2 were born, well, they seem to have gone in a blink of an eye.

Mumof1plustwins · 17/03/2012 14:02

We dont have ESPN so no he's not....my facebook page is full of the news about Muamba....it does not sound good at all. Sky News are just talking about it and he wasn't breathing when they put him into the ambulance. Sad Terrible news.

I know they have to report everything but I wish they would stop talking about Marc-Viviene Foe who used to play for Man City.....he died in almost identical circumstances. I remember that day he died and the amount of crying I did - this has knocked me sideways. Hope he is going to be OK x

:):)HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO ALL YOU LOVELY MUMS:):)

shabbapinkfrog · 18/03/2012 08:47

Happy Mothers day girls xx

Have had Lew here for about an hour. Em wasn't very well last night....stomach pains and chest pains. She rang NHS direct and they sent an ambulance for her Shock they are doing all kinds of tests but so far not found anything. A slight hangover plus a very early morning call and Lew at his loudest is not great!!! xx

shabbapinkfrog · 18/03/2012 18:23

Seems like Em has a 'poo back up!!!' OR apendicitus (sp) dozy piggin' doctors are not sure yet???????? Dan & Lew just left after 10 long hours....have fed everybody at least twice.....played with Lew till i cant play anymore and while DK and Tom did what they wanted to do. What a wasted day and it is our wedding anniversary.

triplets · 18/03/2012 22:49

Oh Shabs.......................happy anniversary??
Is Em still in hospital? How worried Dan must be.
My day has been like this.
Up at 8am.
Kids up between 9-10am.
Cards and gifts bought by dk................kids hadn`t a clue what they were.
Put joint in oven at 10am and prepared rest of meal.
Picked mother and brother up at 11.15am and went to garden centre for her to choose some plants.
She instantly moaned as to why we had taken her there, she was "beat" her legs were painful (probably because she had moved them)
Back home by 12.30pm.
Put apron on and cooked for the next 90mins for 7 people.
Dk supplied drinks....................mainly to himself.
Finished lunch at 3.30pm.
I cleared it all away except for two pans.
All moved into sitting room.
Dk now suffering from the effects of 3 gins, half bottle of rose and 2 whiskies.
4pm dk disappears upstairs.
I make endless cups of tea for mother and brother.
Kids are wired for sound in their rooms.
6pm I order taxi for mother and brother.
Back into kitchen to finish clearing up and feed the cats.
6.30pm dk comes downstairs and says "what a bloody day"
And I missed my darling Matthew.

I do wish they wouldn`t spoil me so much.

shabbapinkfrog · 18/03/2012 23:02

Yes they are keeping her in overnight. The doctor ended up with about 3 emergency operations and has never made it back to the ward to discharge her. So....tomorrow morning I have to ring Dan at half 6 to make sure he is up. Then he is bringing Lew here at 7am and has to go to work because they are short staffed. Then if they discharge Em she is getting a taxi to ours and spending the day here. I know this sounds mean...I really know I am mean BUT I wish they would all fook off....My day sounds similar Trips...except my Mum and Dad werent here. I feel very, very taken for granted and so tired that I am not tired anymore IYKWIM....and, oh yes, I missed Gareth and Matty today xx

triplets · 18/03/2012 23:42

I thought of you xx
I hope Em is ok though Shabs.
I know exactly how you feel.................forgot to add that my mother also wet herself on my sofa, wondered why she didnt move for 5 hours!!!! I feel selfish feeling resentful, but I do. Expect my b/day will be the same. Dk keeps saying he hasnt a clue what to get me from the children, about time they chose something themselves, I don`t care what it is. Would just have like a little surprise, made to feel special.............just for a day. Then I feel bad as dk will get his scan result this week.

triplets · 19/03/2012 06:12

Up since 5am.................gremlins in my head! Didn`t want to wake you all too early..............

shabbapinkfrog · 19/03/2012 06:48

Morning girls xx

Em came home very late last night? So weird....bet she kicked up a fuss and said she was going! Danny texted me at stupid o'clock to let me know!!!

You know what I want? Someone to say (preferably DK but I know he wont) 'I can only imagine how you are feeling but I am here for you and I love you.' Thats it really. They all think I am as strong as an ox but Im not....Oh I can feel a Robbie Williams song coming on LOL..........'You think that Im strong, you're wrong....you're wrong!!

bubby64 · 19/03/2012 09:47

Shabs - I am here for you if you want to inbox me- shounds like you and Trips are very much taken for granted.
Mumof- I'm glad the boys were ok in the end.
Oooggs - nice to see you back.
Chops Can we join a syndicate and you put the numbers inSmile
Rubes - you'll have no underwear left in you caay on like that!
Yehhh - the dog did not escape, but I'm sure she is working on another plan-Its becoming like the game of Colditz, and I am the german guard- I'm sure there are tunnels out there named Tom. Dick and Harry!
I was working oncall over weekend, and the bloody phone did not stop ringing, except for the 2 hrs I was out for lunch yesterday- what a shame- I had no signal there!
My DH would never dare not do something for mothers day, because he forgot my very first one, and I have never let him forget that!Wink There was me with our 2 baby boys, and he said "Oh, I sent a card to my mum, and forgot you were one as well" Hmm.

Mums appointment didn't go well, they want her up the hosp in two weeks for more tests

Had a crappy mothers day really, spent it cooking and doing laundry! Oh well. Hopefully we will be acing a nice day out at the weekend, as it's the boys 7th birthday on Friday. Can't believe they will be 7. They want to go to the bealieu motor musuem for the James bond exhibition.
