...When juggling kids, family, home, school and work?
I know, I know, feeble effort, but I really don't know where my year has gone! Its towards the end of February now, past half term for most of us, and I don't even seem to have blinked!
We were celebrating DH's birthday today, and I'm sure he had his last one only a couple of months ago, or thats how it seems to me.
As for the years since my 2 were born, well, they seem to have gone in a blink of an eye.

Sorry Girls been AWOL- had a shit bad week. R has spent more on the car than he told me, and now bank account is empty - I look after our finances, so need to know if large amounts are going out! M managed to scratch his eye at school, so spent the last few days sitting for hours at a time at the hospital eye clinic, then got home yesterday from said clinic to find our neighbour yelling about our "dangerous dog" (Cleo) who had got out of a hole in the fence and barked at him when he was pulling up his wheelie bin- he said she "went for him" but out other neighbour said "No- she ran up and barked, and then ran after him barking when he threw a lump of wood at her, but she didn't growl or try to bite!" the horrid neighbour threatened in front of the boys, to call the police and have her put down, so they were almost inconsolable and beside themselves with worry. I asked him to show me where she got out as, like us, he has a locked garden gate, so I couldnt just walk up and check, and he said "no! search your side!" he knows we have a hedge our side, and then the chainlink behind it, so its very hard for us to see, but easy for him.Well - this morning, after neighbour left for work, DH jumped his gate, found the small hole she had got through, and wired it up, but we are still worried incase she gets out again.
Shabs - need a laugh- and Lew gives me one nearly every time!
Trips - Keep telling yourself it just a number - perhaps what you need is a toyboy bit on the side - you're as young as the man you feel!!

aww bubby Sad

Is it worth trying to chain link your side? I've spent the past week or two turning ours into fort knox making ours more secure so the rabbits dont get out. where we had hedge, I put chainlink wire from a roll along the front of it. It's green, so not even visible really!

Mumof1plustwins · 15/03/2012 14:57

Hope everyone else is ok?

I might have to take him back to the dr tomorrow if there's no improvement tonight and find out if we have to go hospital again Sad

No more news from the hosp, they have the scan result but won`t tell us until they have had another meeting next Tues, so unfair. Woboo does dk have any single malt whiskey that needs drinking?

I a bit sad. Parents are having problems. Without going into boring deTails. Lot of illusions shattered. Plus my mum has an appointment on mon and praying it not serious issues. Feck. Times like this I wish was closer.

Mumof1plustwins · 17/03/2012 08:25

Boys are doing ok, I didn't take them to the Dr because they are playing and eating abit so hoping they're on the mend.

A fellow twin mum from DDs school is leaving for her home country today which is a great shame because she was a lovely woman... now I'm the only mum of twins there...

Anyone else been eating hotxbuns? They're delicious...
