D'y ever wonder where the time goes....

...When juggling kids, family, home, school and work?
I know, I know, feeble effort, but I really don't know where my year has gone! Its towards the end of February now, past half term for most of us, and I don't even seem to have blinked!
We were celebrating DH's birthday today, and I'm sure he had his last one only a couple of months ago, or thats how it seems to me.
As for the years since my 2 were born, well, they seem to have gone in a blink of an eye.

We do have a touring 'van, but looked at cost of decent site in Hastings area during school hols, and most charge per night for van+more than 2 people(ie, DC!)+awning+electric+water hook-up+per dog+ of course, extra fuel getting it there. It was actually cheaper private hireing the static! We do use the van for car shows, as they often have either minimal or no charge at all for exhibitors camping. Mind you, we take a little generator, as there is no electric hook-up at most shows. We got the van after years of "tenting", ( at my insistance!) and oh, the relative joy of having your own loo and sink for the middle of the night and not getting wet if it rained hard or blown away if there is a high wind!

I think baby A has caught something...he's coughing a bit and feels hot...no temp but I'll keep an eye on it 'sigh

They were quite fretful last night too, bfing almost non stop and both decided to get up (gladly not at the same time!)

Don't think we can go on holiday this year...FIL is ill so DH has to go to see him in a week or two but we just don't have much savings wise atm.
So if we don't go abroad I plan to have family days out, picnics etc

Ok Baby A has got something he had a temp of 39'C! I've brought it down with paracetamol and removed some clothing and given him milk. He's playing so not too concerned. It's probably just a cough/cold. Might take him to the dr tomorrow morn depending on how he is and how much DH moans about him being ill
One cheek is red so it might be teething?

Afternoon all..........................I was soooooo bored y/day, went to bed at 8.15pm. One son sat watching Simpsons, one on the x-box, dd on the laptop twittering and dk watching "The Grand Age of Canals"............I feel I don`t belong in either world...............thank God :o

I am probably going to be wearing a 'fetching' black bin bag!!! Dont know love - have no idea at all. The bridesmaids dresses are sapphire....Yep I thought navy blue as well but its a lovely greeny/blue colour. I hate blue on me - does nowt for me. I wanted to get a green dress but Em did that 'I hate green' look at me LOL.....Oh I dont know - Im crap at all this!!! Have been told I suit all shades of green and have a bright pink top that everybody raves about when I wear it. I have green/hazel eyes so I think thats why I like to wear green. I have said green an awful lot in this post!!!! Would like a fairly simple dress and have to remember it will be the middle of August and the sweaty moustache look is not a good one!!!

Think I am too short and wide for patterns - I do love plain!! Will have a search through Evans' website and try to find something I like to show you my weird taste!!!

btw dk phoned the lung team in London this morning to ask if they had his Pet Scan result. Yes they do but they want to discuss it at the meeting next Tues, so if we don`t hear from them to phone them again next Weds...............just in time for my b/day on Thurs, I am dreading it. At lunchtime today he now tells me he thinks he has a hernia nr his navel as he can feel a swelling.............................more problems!

Actually I was feeling quite depressed today about being nearly 60.
I looked in the mirror and thought this cant be happening, how can I be 60? Inside I am 47. The best years have gone............................forever. I used to be slim, lovely long legs.......men used to look. I hate my neck. I envy my girlfriends because they are free. I hate not having money to buy nice things. I miss being loved by a man. I miss not having the freedom to travel. I hate not being able to bend down properly to cut my toenails. I miss my Dad I ache and miss Matthew. I hate cancer. I love my children but they dont fill my life.
I miss my old life.
I cherish special friends.

Thats it.............thats how I feel for now.
