shabbapinkfrog · 18/10/2011 23:18

Sounds like our house Trips.

No change in Beths condition. Its her Mummy's (my niece) birthday tomorrow. Dont know if I have already put it on this thread BUT my niece has a really bad chest infection and they wont allow her into intensive care to see her little girl. Sad

Ooohhhh this is a crap life sometimes isin't it? xx

Oh Shabs, poor things, yes it is a crap life at times.................some seem to not get touched by worry and sadness, how lucky they are! My brother had red eyes today upset about his daughter losing her baby, can`t stop thinking of Jen who lost her battle to the big rotten C, its all a horrible time. Lets hope Beth turns the corner for her mummies birthday tomorrow. xx

Seems like everyone is having a crap time atm :( Hope Beth turns a corner today, shabs. Her poor mother must be going through hell.

ds1 is off school today, he can barely keep his eyes open and keeps crying. He isn't settling well into school this year. The kids on his table are tormenting him and cos of his sn he can't cope. I'm hoping the 5 page OT report has reached the school and I'm probably going to have to gear up for another battle with the school to recognise and support his needs. :(

Morning girls, poor little chap Hops, its hard enough as it is. I should be at school today with my reception class but just couldn`t face it, bad throat, end of migraine and wiped out. Just had more horrid news, my friend in Aust with cancer has found out her tumour in her remaining lung has grown and her husband has left her and the three boys.........................someone bring some good news soon please. Wotcha Shabs me awd mucker! xx

You all seem to be having a bad time, so sorry to hear all the news.
I feel bad saying I am doing a little celebration dance -
My much loathed boss retired today [yippee emticom], some people are saying "better the devil we know" but i, for one, am very relived to see the back of her, as we have had a "hate/hate" relationship for the past year!
Mind you, she did have the cheek to ask me to her leaving do last night, but, unfortunatly, I was "busy".[hwink]

That is fab news Shabs, and woohoo for bubby!

Def ok trips -I rarely like all of mine st any given time!

Half term has started for three of mine, the dts were shipped out yest after school so only ds1 home today. Ds1 and dd are off to Norfolk on Sunday for the week, so we will then have at least two CHILD FREE DAYS!!! Party time Grin not entirely sure when the dts are coming back, I'm torn between hoping for some quality time just with the dts and the idea of a few more child free days!

shabbapinkfrog · 21/10/2011 08:54

I have to go to Lew's nursery Harvest Festival!!! Yes, its great that I have been invited, truly wonderful Hmm I couldn't be more tired if I had swum the channel all night. All those very young, well dressed, Mums in one place!!! Really hope there are other Andmas there as well. Feel somewhat old, knackered and scruffy this morning!!

I know the feeling Shabs, sat in that school hall with the young uns, all looking at me.............amazed at my beauty:)
Went to church this morning James was marching in the ATC band at the Trafalgar Day service and very proud I was of him too.
Did anyone know it was Trafalgar Day?

bubby64 · 21/10/2011 20:29

Trips - I must say I have said to my 2 in the past, "I will always love you, but I don't like you at the moment". I think it comes with the territory!
Shabs -Hope you had a nice time at the Harvest Festival.
Half term started yesterday for us, curses to PD days!!
Off to London Wednesday for science museum and Dr Who experience. Got tickets on an offer through Tescos, so asked the boys did they want to go there as an early birthday treat instead of a party, and they said yes- bet they still want friends over on the actual weekend tho [hhmm]

Hopstheduck · 21/10/2011 21:34

Trafalgar day, nope! Hangs head in shame. You must be very proud tho, I love seeing mine marching even if it is only with the girls and boys brigade :)

London, bubby? Where do you live?

Im gonna be in town Sunday and Monday myselfand possibly tomo, planning to go shopping sunday and west end monday evening to see blood brothers Grin
the kids love the science museum, tho admittedly, mainly for the escalator though the planets bit and the japanese earthquake simulation!

Hopstheduck · 21/10/2011 21:35

Just realised you are in Suffolk, bit of a hike for you then!

bubby64 · 21/10/2011 22:41

Not too bad, straight up A12 to ilford, use a "parkatmyhouse" for £2.50p whole day 1 minute from underground, 20mins later in city centre.Grin

triplets · 21/10/2011 22:48

Ah ha............we are going to London for the day on Thurs. Meeting up with sil, niece and 4yr old twins. Going to HMS Belfast(dh was engineer on there). Italian restaurant for lunch then on to the Natural History Museum, bit more planning we could have had a meet up!
Still feeling rough, irritating cough and sore throat, couldnt eat much supper, only fish n chips, a beer followed by a pomegranite! I get so excited when they arrive at the greengrocers, only around a few weeks of the year..........................saddo arent I ? :o
