Aghhh we have entered school-parties-with-only-one-twin-invited hell [hsad]
DS2 can't understand why dt1 has been to two parties without him when he's in class with the same children. But they have both been invited to a party this weekend and ds2 is beyond excited [hgrin].

From Jan our reception year will contain one set of girl twins, one set of id boy twins, and one set of g/b twins. Not sure how the teacers will cope [hshock] [hconfused].

Right off to entertain my little (but way taller than me) brother.

Hi...........feeling a teeny bit batter today, still sneezy though. Did have to stagger round Tesco with the trio which cost me three times as much and alot of stress!
Pix, when my three started school none of them got invited anywhere for the first year, everyone seemed to think they couldnt ask one without the other. Then Rebecca drifted off with her new girl friends (still with the same ones today although all now at diff schools), so she would be asked to tea etc at theirs. Then came birthday parties, sleep overs, always Rebecca, never the two boys. It was really only in yr 5 that things changed, Thomas started being invited, James hardly ever. And thats the way it is now, but they seem to get on with it! And if those two boys dont stop carrying on in their room someone better call Social Services!!

Pixi, our school year has three sets too! Mine, and two sets of girl twins. None are id, but I struggle a bit with one set and some blind people struggle with mine. Dt1 gets a lot more invites that dt2. Strangely, he is the quiet one, but I think dt2 annoys a lot of people. He is very lively and always has to be right.

I'm back from the city, sadly. Hotel was gorgeous, lack of kids was heavenly! Blood Brothers was brilliant too, def recommend it. Spent yeserday walking round Harrods and having a boat ride up the river. Harrods do amazingly nice sarnies and a big baguette is only £4.25 - bargain!

Still no kids, dh's family don't want to give them back! Grin They took dt2 for a haircut yesterday and he unfortunately looks like a mushroom, will have to post pics when he does come back. It's Diwali today, new years day tomo, so looks like they might not be coming back til Fri. Happy Diwali everyone!

shabbapinkfrog · 26/10/2011 07:59

Ahhhhhh that explains the fireworks last night round our area!!! Forgive my ignorance but is Diwali a Muslim festival?

Lew said he didn't like Thomas the tank engine UNTIL I brought down Toms massive box of them. We now have (according to the box) 30 feet of track all around the living room. He is loving it - only stopping to wipe his snotty nose on his sleeve!!

Have just taken 4 of Matts trains out and put them away. They are battered and scruffy but they are Matts.

Cant see the living room floor for trains, tracks, figures etc etc etc

I used to love our Thomas train set, but infortunately the kids never really did!

Yeah, Diwali is a hindu festival. Basically celebrates the triumph of evil over good and involves fireworks and lots of sweets Grin not really doing anything this year tho, since the kids are all away, but will be making a nice dinner anyway.

I am starting to get very bored with no children home!

Hopstheduck · 26/10/2011 13:36

shabbapinkfrog · 27/10/2011 08:27
