Just been catching up on Facebook.

Estars little boy is not well at all. He is in hospital and it sounds like she is expecting him to be in for a long time. Just wanted everybody to keep him in their prayers - even old 'non believers' like me. She is so lovely and they sound like they are having a very rough time. xxxx

Oh Shabs............please please will you send her my love and thoughts, poor poor things. Do we know exactly what is wrong with him? Poor Estar:( Will have a long talk to "him" upstairs and hope he listens.............have you heard from Derkster?

shabbapinkfrog · 25/09/2011 22:30

Derkster got home about 9.30 - they have found that the valves in his brothers heart are weird - something about them being a strange shape....they reckon he was born that way.....they cant do anything about it other than the pacemaker, but thats what has been causing his slow pulse.

Estars little lad seems to be having a lot of seizures and cant walk at the moment. I feel so helpless and unable to do anything that will improve their situation. I certainly will pass on your message to her. It sounds like they are having a very scary time. Sad xxx

Poor little boy Sad I can't believe it is still going on and getting worse.

We had a busy weekend, dh turned 30 on friday! Grin Now looking fw to some peace and quiet once I drop the kids to school. Plus copious amounts of birthday cake - still got tons left. Must put a pic on fb.

Hello LGT!!! How are you?

largeginandtonic · 26/09/2011 14:00

Poor Estar Sad I have no idea how she manages to stay so brilliantly upbeat, she really is amazing. So awful not knowing. Am thinking of them all.

Shabs -[laughing emoticom]- I rang home at 7am to check all there were up and ready for school/work and got a very tired and grumpy sounding James saying he and Mike had just got up, and dad was still in bed! They have to leave the house by 7.30Hmm Lucky I had got up at 5.30am and already fed animals, put out uniform, done lunchboxes, packed ready football kit and put out breakfast things before I left for work, or they would never have made it.

Worse than usual this week as I am covering my colleagues holiday, and she starts at 06.45 on her work days! I dont usually start work til 8.15am, but we still have to be out of the house by 7.45 on the 3 days I normally work, the difference is that I have a routine with the boys for getting them ready, having everything they need and then off to the childminder and DH is not used to this, as he only normally has to get up and get himself off to work at 7.30!

bubby64 · 28/09/2011 17:16

Picked up DC from strikers after school, and DS1 said "I like it when Dad gets us ready for school, it's much more organised than when you do it!" HmmDo I tell him of the hours prep I did this morning to make sure it all went smoothly for them and Dad??????
