Sooo I've escaped one taxi duty, but dd has jsut announced she has a presentation this evening. Please someone, pass me the Wine!

shabbapinkfrog · 05/07/2011 16:47

LOL @ Chops!

Tom has been picked to be one of the Year 10 prefects. Tonight he has to go up and have a meeting with all the 'chosen ones' Hmm and then to show parents of new children (starting in September) around the school. I really, really hope none of those parents will ask him if there is any bullying in school

He said, just before he went, I will take my school bag with me. I watched him lift the bag up, undo all the zips and then empty everything on the settee and the carpet......a months worth of crumbs, crisp wrappers, all his books and equipment. He then got his bag, zipped it up and said 'See you later Mum!!'

I am just sat looking at the mess with a face like this Hmm and this Angry!!

Bloody kids!!

found you Wink

shabbapinkfrog · 05/07/2011 17:57

My son has just put on his facebook that they are up at school till quarter to bloody nine - what the hell? 2,200 pupils at the borstal high school he goes to but nobody wants to do anything like being a prefect or helping out - so the same 40 or so kids get roped in every time.

Got toothache:( Double crown of 20 years/root canal treatment)..........noooooooooooo please go away I cannot afford the bill.
Fed up with my lot, carrying on till 10.30pm and lots of lip, can`t cope with toothache as well.
Busy few days ahead, school tomorrow with my little ones, then Becca has to go to school at midnight tomorrow to go to Euro bloody Disney, back at midnight Thurs, £86 and no food or drink inc!!

Boys have to be up at school at 7am on Sat to go to Norfolk for 6 nights!
And its Matthews birthday that day:(

Anybody just watched the programme tonight on the Sextuplets?? Very emotional, brought back lots of memories, their little boy who died was called Matthew:( Amazing parents.

Boo hoo..........my toofy hurts:(

triplets · 05/07/2011 22:59

Oh I forgot, I also have to take the boys up to school between 7-9pm tomorrow night for a de-brief for their trip, what wonderful planning when we come home and sit here until almost midnight to take Rebecca up?

shabbapinkfrog · 06/07/2011 05:47

My toofy hurts:( dentist 11.10am tomorrow:(

Mabelface · 06/07/2011 14:48

Afternoon. I've been a hermit for a few days. Trips, I saw that programme. Brought back many memories.

chopstheduck · 06/07/2011 16:20

How can they do a school trip like that with no food or drink included? Wt are you supposed to do? Eurodisney is very exp for food too. I think I would have refused it!

my dd is off to legoland tomorrow with her school Hmm Not sure what exactly the appeal is going to be for a class full of eleven year olds!

Good luck getting the tooth sorted trips. I've lost a lot of mine thru not being able to afford the dentist, so know how you feel Sad

lol @ shabs. The prefects at dd's new secondary seemed very friendly. Now I know what they were really thinking Grin

triplets · 06/07/2011 22:27

triplets · 07/07/2011 06:44

Morning Shabs.............in agony, geels like my whole upper teeth are hot and throbbing so not much sleep. Got Becs up at 1am poor kid didnt know where she was, couldnt get back off to sleep till after 2am as I felt panicky about her going, what a stupid stupid school. Now got dentist to face this morning, feeling of euphoria didn`t last long! Will report back later!

chopstheduck · 07/07/2011 07:50

Becca will be fine trips, I bet she will have a fab time. Good luck with the dentist this morning. Can you get hold of any co-proxamol from anywhere? That is the only thing that works for me with toothache!

I've got another day racing around. Got to drop three kids, pick up car from garage, drop dd, go to town, then pick ds1, make a picnic, pick dses 2+3, and go on trip to weather bus.

dd told me two days ago that she needs a costume for the school musical, like NOW! Despite me asking a month ago if she needed one, and a letter being sent out two weeks ago, I now have to magic one up out of thin air Tried all the charity shops in Woking yesterday,, off to Slough today. She is Alice (in Wonderland) - any ideas?!

She is currently debating what to wear for the Legoland trip today. This will take an hour or two, multiple wardrobe changes and a trashed bedroom. I'm sure I was never like this as a kid!

chopstheduck · 07/07/2011 11:28

I am sooo FED UP!

My car has been in the garage for a service. We have had a courtesy car.
ds3, the one who we've been having issues with, got in the courtesy car and let the handbrake off. It rolled down our drive, he jumped out (luckily) and smashed into the neighbours wall opposite. Angry

We don't usually have a manual parking brake, my car has electric, so I guess he thought, ooh what is this? Courtesy car is very badly damaged, as it the wall and fence behind it. I'm putting him on eBay tonight, to cover the insurance excess. Sad
