Morning Shabs, what a bloody night! Not only toothache but awake fron 1.45am to gone 3am with 4 foxes ripping open bags of rubbish the stupid residents of the flats next door insist on putting out days too early. Opened my curtains and the whole of the road is littered,, bloody well hope someone clears it up cos I`m not!

shabbapinkfrog · 12/07/2011 06:44

Ohhhhh I am a bit scared of foxes. We have a park at the bottom of our road, literally one minute walk. Next to that is a big fishing lake that has a path by the side of it. There is a family of foxes on there and they do wander about on the estate very late at night/early morning. They have creepy eyes there are also 'killer' geese on the path Grin Im not much of a country girl am I??

ooh I like geese, and so does ds4. Rubbed all over with Chinese 5 spice, orange up it's arse...Wink

How is ur tooth trips? Hope the headache is gone Ruby.

I have an AIBU question. Dd has school play last night, came home with her eyes streaming because they had put flipping mascara on her! Apparently another girl got in trouble for taking it off again, so she daren't rub it off. I don't mind a bit of make up but sharing one mascara wand between 20+ girls is awfully unhygienic! Do I complain?

chopstheduck · 13/07/2011 07:47

ds4?! ds3 even, I don't need any more of the buggers!

triplets · 13/07/2011 10:04

Morning all............tooth a twinge better thank you. Awake again at just gone 3am fox emptyinh the recyling bin next door, aluminium can rolling up and down the road and it was windy! Just going to write one of my famous letters and stick in in their mail box! And yes, I would def complain about the mascara, they are so prim and proper about other things in school these days. I have to go to a meeting at school tonight, after the awful Ofsted they have been put in special measures, shambles!

shabbapinkfrog · 13/07/2011 10:26

Toms primary school are in danger of being closed Trips - Offsted are not happy with them. As for his High school - Offsted are too afraid to go in there I reckon Grin He came home yesterday with a postcard from the French department....on the back it says....

Congratulations to Tom H, who has been nominated for 'Linguist of the Year' by the MFL Department. This is an excellent achievement - well done.'

There are 6 sets for French and two children have been picked from each set....then the final decision will be made.

this morning I said to Lew: 'Do you know how beautiful you are? You have lovely curly hair, great big blue eyes and a little button nose.' He looked sideways at me and said 'Well Andma, you are not very beautiful at all but you do good cuddles and make nice pate on toast!!' Suppose I am useful for something then!!

OP posts:
chopstheduck · 13/07/2011 11:51

will def complain then, thanks :)

Aww tis crap about the ofsteds. Am I allowed a little boast that our primary got ofsted outstanding? Wink This is the infants though, rather than the evil mascara weidling juniors. AND my comments were quoted on the front page of the report Grin I love the infants school here, I am going to loathe it when the dts have to move up next year. I'd send them elsewhere, but they'd miss their friends, and it's a feeder school to an excellent secondary, so we will have to put up with it.

chopstheduck · 13/07/2011 11:53

have fired off the complaint now, and will be sitting nervously waiting for the reply! Basically told them that she came home with sore eyes, and I felt it was very unhygienic and it would have been more appropriate for children to apply their own cosmetics. dd has sensitive skin in any case, and has had horrendous excema in the past

chopstheduck · 13/07/2011 11:54

lol, at lewis!

dt2 has developed an annoying habit of wobbling my fat bits! Really should go get some exercise!

triplets · 13/07/2011 14:39
