I'm not trying to be rude but do you take medication for your ADHD? If not go to your GP and ask for some. It will help you focus on what you need to do. If your kids are old enough tell them this year will be a very small little Xmas. Set a small budget for each DC and don't go over it. Put on a Xmas dvd, get a bucket of popcorn or make your own microwave popcorn.

I was in a position like this about 10/15 years ago, I started with the smallest debt and threw all the extra money at that, once that monthly amount was freed I then threw that and any extra money at the next one up. You say you are habitual over spenders but hopefully like me you’ll start to buzz off the satisfaction of seeing it all disappear. I’m a proper miser now 😂😂😂

Small note is Monzo are doing 4% interest on one savings pot per account. Set it up for your bills money to be in that pot and then for your bills to be paid out that pot and you’ll earn the interest for the money just being there. Every penny extra counts and will help. Also every time you go to buy something on credit remind yourself it’s that x compound interest each month if you don’t pay it off.

you are doing so well - keep it going!!!

@ClusterFukt well done! It sound as if the horrible sinking feeling has gone, now you’ve taken control. Keep going.

Well done @ClusterFukt. It sounds like you have a plan and a bit of a dent in the debts already which must really help you see the wood for the trees.

I know you said you are putting your Vinted money to debts but maybe think about putting that towards Christmas for now and then after Christmas you can put any Vinted money towards debts then. Having a little pot building up to help with Christmas might be a good idea.

Well done. Keep going

Well done Cluster - Im sure there are many people on here who have been there, know how you felt with the visceral anxiety of your first post, and are wishing you well, and cheering you on.
