It kind of reminds me of those whose life is built around ‘when I win the lottery’ but never do anything to put themselves in a better position back on planet reality- I know it’s hard but it doesn’t take a rocket scientist brain to realise after 2 months of plugging away at something and constantly offering variations on it that it isn’t going to fly!! At the opposite end of the spectrum I go to a group dance class on Mondays -( basically routines plus warm up and cool down for an hour to all different kinds of music) all ages, all sizes welcome- it’s a really fun sociable class and the lady that runs it is amazing - late 20s - she now has about 18 different classes in areas within 20 miles or so and a whole bunch of class leaders- it was her dream and she’s smashed it - but she works bloody hard , team together for new routines, video sent out every week to remind us ,social media , plus she takes around 5 of them herself - then they do away weekends, 1 day specials , trial sessions for friends, etc - now ‘that’s’ building a business over 2 years. - this is 42 a month - so there are people who will pay out there - , but only for the right offerings that they can’t get by popping online - in this case social contact and getting out!!!

That should of course say 2 years of plugging away

Is Scotbot still in nipple tassels? I suspect Scotbot might have quietly reversed away from Yawn having been present in the early days of the Unlucky Club. Wasn’t she the subject of one of Yawn’s “podcasts” where Yawn got her to share her private difficulties? Luckily for her no one really listened to it. She must have done a tot up of profits and added up all the stress and hassle and decided to back away from FLP and Yawn. I always got the sense she was a bit scared of Yawn so I expect she’s been grateful for the geographical distance while she quietly dropped the rope.

We still don’t really know who had to reimburse FLP for that India flight. We were fairly certain that as soon as the invoice from head office landed on Scamolopoulis’s desk after the drama, the generosity Yawn mentioned in her tearful panic, completely disappeared.

I agree that Yawn is not nearly as confident and cosmopolitan as she wants her audience to believe. Her world has shrunk considerably since 2024 which can’t have helped. I don’t think she was ever very confident, bravado yes, confindence no. Whether this is because she has normally been an outcast at her destination and the stress has been about being in an increasingly small room full of bots who loathe her or just the fear of travel itself. She looked very stressed in Bali too. I imagine a holiday with Yawn is no holiday at all for Mr Yawn.

The last couple of years must have made her life a lot more difficult. I did wonder if the Friday dates are about coaxing her out of the house. I wonder if her family see MLM and it’s legacy as the great confidence boost she claims it is, or a worrying chapter that’s left her backed into a corner, repeating the same old thing in an attempt to save face? To feel you have to present an upbeat glossy version of yourself at all times whether your reality is close to the public version or not, isn’t psychologically healthy.

Some people need to be a big fish in a small pond.

Yep she's still shaking her tassels and good on her if that's her thing. I'd forgotten how she exploited Scotbot on her not a podcast. The very personal description is still up on the renamed unlucky girl fb page for all to see.

I think Scotbot took the hit for the ticket it was only hers that was affected and it was just the return flight Delhi, quick stop Dubai and onward to Edinburgh even at todays prices and short notice £500, she would have received a refund from Virgin for the return flight so she may have been square in the end.

All I can think of with Yawn (apart from just not being a nice person) is she just hasn't really had any life experiences either as a young person or an adult.

She seemingly late teens met Mr Yawn who is 9 years older (so she missed out of a swathe of her youth, college, uni, holidays, house shares etc) a couple of short term jobs which don't appear to have worked out or progressed to a career, 2 kids early twenties, a brief spell as a childminder again based at home so no external experience outside the home. She has never lived or made choices Independently. She's 46 I scratch my head to see how she can continue till retirement age titting about,

He does work (as discovered by someone on these threads) but Yawn likes to make out that he's a gentleman of leisure and doesn't have to work thanks to her amazing income.

Her carefully constructed fiction is of a life of wealth where DH does not need to work (but does a little because he enjoys it - she had to use this line when it was discovered he had not actually ‘been retired’)

And she has claimed she could retire tomorrow(debt free six figure income, legacy income etc) but continues to offer her services out of kindness and wanting to help others

When I commented on Mr Yawn’s new electric car I deliberately said something very positive but included reference to it being an ideal company car. I couldn’t believe how quickly my comment was removed and I was permanently blocked. I could only have been blocked because they need to preserve the fiction as it wasn’t a negative comment in any way. I deliberately made it highly complimentary and said the things Yawn likes to hear. I am pretty sure this action was taken by Mr Yawn. It demonstrated to me just how keen the Yawns are to preserve the lie.

Juice Plus is having a (hopefully final) push and the lie about Boots and Holland & Barrett begging to stock JP is doing the rounds again on Insta. I have a recollection that the anti MLM group I was part of got direct confirmation from both companies that it wasn’t true, others probably did too. There is a thread about Bear Grylls and his phoney principles which got me looking at JP.
