At least with the Feel Fraudulent group Yawn’s weight loss was in progress and there was something to see (the entertaining Hall of Mirrors before and after photos when even her floorboards lost weight). She had quite a lot of people joining the group, often posting their first week of C9 then disappearing altogether. Also it’s likely the ‘supportive community’ they thought they were joining turned out to be just a group of people who had been similarly lied to and who were there to supply Yawn’s need for adoration. She lost interest when others had given up interacting with the group, but they lost interest before she did. She seemed to have passed on the Feel Fraudulent name to a recruit who had lost weight previously (nothing to do with FLP) and who had a following, but she is another one who has disappeared from view.
Now she doesn’t have a hope - she doesn’t even have the relatability of being on her weight loss “journey”, her weight loss is old news, the products are too expensive, her audience is smaller, her content is mostly ‘my life is wonderful’ which seems inauthentic and it doesn’t feel like it correlates with a supportive ethos in a weight loss group. She’s a Majorie Dawes in Flesh coloured leggings.
@OhMyGiddyAunt that’s exactly what she does; cynically joins groups in the search for recruits and either loses interest when no one takes the bait or gets the cold shoulder from people. If Yawnsville is anything like where I live her behaviour in groups will travel and people are not afraid to tell bots to fuck off. They are in those groups because of a shared interest in cycling (or whatever) and will quickly spot someone who is there for a different reason. If I was part of a cycling group I’d be suspicious of someone arriving immaculately made up and clearly filming themselves while everyone else was covered in mud. If that person started subtly trying to sell me something say something and I bet she’s had some very direct feedback.
Anyway, why has she had to return to her weight loss? I thought the collagen was a ‘game changer’? It turns out that there are no takers for over-priced collagen apart from a few bots.
Never mind, there’s always Law of Attraction/manifesting coaching to fall back on, that’s a completely untapped market … oh hang on …
