Is the charity aware of this ‘partnership’??

OP posts:
YouOKHun · 03/10/2024 20:12

Exactly, is it a partnership through lack of MLM awareness or not a partnership at all which is very deceptive.

YouOKHun · 03/10/2024 20:15

I've seen others sharing it and saying FLP is donating 10p a sale. What are they getting per sale?

BSintolerant · 03/10/2024 20:16

I can’t see any evidence of such a partnership here, unless I’m missing something.

I think this is the charity breastcancernow.org

Spongebobette · 03/10/2024 20:36

I have emailed them

Yawn's very quiet. Looked further at the event website it doesn't look like her usual audience and the organisers of the event she was speaking at don't look like they'd take the woo stuff seriously. If it had gone well I'd have expected a post about how amazing it was straight away. The timetable is structured and it ended at 9pm. Plenty of time to do a live about being absolutely buzzing etc.

Spongebobette · 04/10/2024 06:49

Maybe someone dared to ask her questions about LoA rather than just sitting there adoring her

they pay to attend these meetings!

That event looks to have been tiny!

She looks like she's been crying again this morning

Spongebobette · 04/10/2024 10:39

She may want to take some advice fro the other LoA / manifestation expert, Nurse, whose Friday musings are all about how to get what you want in life

decide what you want then ‘surrender’ and wait for the universe to present you with it

nothing about making a plan and working hard, no, just sit back with a positive mindset

Yawn again referring to the last few months being 'horrendous' for her and being let down by people she thought were her friends... I'm really curious to find out exactly in what way she was stitched up by Uber & FL!

Contraryjane · 04/10/2024 10:51

Yes, she’s had “heartbreak” over the past few months. Couldn’t happen to a nicer person.
Why doesn’t she just get a job? She’s crying at home while both her kids go out to work.

YouOKHun · 04/10/2024 10:56

It's all about what a hard time Yawn's had this summer. That's Uber and the new BBF's DH's ex isn't it? I can certainly see Uber being very unpleasant and completely ruthless.

Yawn gave the impression last night was her starring as a guest speaker to a room full of people. Today she said that they gave her lots of tips so it sounds more like a chat. I wonder how many of the six or seven in the room just tolerated it. I can't see how she could talk for an hour to an audience and hold their attention.

The impression I get is that in order to fill the time she wheeled out the victim rhetoric. I've no idea what hardships she has been through but she has no idea what is happening in her audiences lives so if she's going to push the Bot favourite "phoenix rising from the ashes of a hard life" that's going to be very difficult to sell. I think she's emotional this morning because she got a critique last night not an adoring audience of downlines.

Well done @Spongebobette! £22 Bot isn't the only one mentioning this, I saw some other bot mentioning it, perhaps she's a downline and this is a creation of £22 Bot.

It's interesting that the response was swift and very clear. I suspect that there is much more awareness since the pandemic of the way MLMs like to harness female oriented good causes.

YouOKHun · 04/10/2024 11:22

@Spongebobette now the FBO page is promoting the partnership with BCN too.

PieonaBarm · 04/10/2024 11:22

I do wonder how she will style the severance from FLP. I mean it's the cornerstone of her amazing 763 stone weight loss and lifestyle overhaul and she bangs on about necking aloe to cleanse your gut like a student necking cheap lager in freshers week. There's going to be some interesting posts coming up as she's completely ghosting FLP at the moment.

@YouOKHun If a lying overenthusiastic bot makes a false claim re. partnering with a charity, that's pretty bad, but FLP UK can sweep it under the carpet by washing their hands of them, but coming from their own official page? Surely the shit would really hit the fan?

Yawn saying she’s been let down, negativity, been through so much bla bla bla (funny how none of this has been mentioned before, almost as though she presents a false and misleading narrative of her life)

so she’s created a community of her own of women who are positive- with her as the supreme leader of course

I have no doubt at all that anyone who joins her group and says anything at all she doesn’t like - she’ll be absolutely vicious and will turn the rest of her members on them

it’s not a group to help anyone else, it’s a group to prop up her narcissistic personality and to have control

@Twentytwentyhindsight exactly. Coming from the organisation itself shows this isn't just some bot getting carried away. It's on the FBO page and the open FB page. On the FB public page they have a link to Just Giving which has a £20 donation. No doubt they will say it was well intentioned but I'd really like them to get some negative publicity for this and for this tactic to get some public airing. I've tweeted about it but X is now a graveyard (for me at any rate).
