Had a quick dive into the group that have invited Yawn to speak tonight.
on the whole they are a group of maybe more legitimate/ qualified coaches/facilitators but still charging other women for what is basically common sense advice.
I believe that like having a therapist, having a life/business coach is just the latest trend/fashion. The market is saturated by failed business people who have discovered a source of income through coaching. Are they really the best people to be advising business owners?
Running a business is easy if you stick to the rules finance, marketing, research and the most important advice I was given always stash cash for HMRC. Most businesses fail within their first two years because they forget the huge tax bill due after 12-18months.
Before you start a business is the time for coaching, not when you start to struggle. Social media is saturated by coaches for every area of your life, to the point where you start to feel that you are missing out.
Back to the latest Yawn collaboration, their accounts show no profit for the last two years. I don’t think Yawn or any of the boys do due diligence e or research into coaching. If they did they would see how little money these groups/businesses are making. But like MLM they sell themselves through LOA. They are made up businesses for women ( mainly) who like to play “I’m an important business woman”.
