child benefit not paid

hi i normally receive my payments every monday for one child (4yo) i’ve received no letters or anything and had payment as normal last week. Although my payments are on mondays, i receive them saturday due to my bank, but this week it hasn’t come through and it’s not my bank as carers has come through like every other week as normal. No change of address etc and her dad wouldn’t of put a claim in and don’t think i can contact them till monday so stressed at what’s going on

I'm with Halifax and my payment is missing too

I am with ulsterbank and mine has just come through this minute (it normally comes through at 1am)

I wonder if over today they may appear in the bank ? I don't fancy ringing the phone lines will be busy !

I bank with barclays, payment due today 3rd but goes in on a saturday for years, still havent recieved it.

Ive emailed good morning Britain about it. Lets all do this and get it out there. This is what I emailed them....

good morning. There is an issue with HMRC Child Benefits payments not been paid this mornjng , there is thousands online saying payments not gone in as expected. HMRC not given an update for this. So many children nationwide who go without today until it is sorted.

That's what I was thinking. It's a nightmare trying to get through at the best of times but will be even worse today!

Anyone else not received their child benefit? Ive been getting it every Saturday since my son was born, hes 2.5, but didn't get it this Saturday and just presumed it'd be today but still nothing. I rely on that to do things for my kids and I'm just panicking now

Hi all, just to jump on with everyone. I thought i was the only one too!! But I havent received my payment yet, ive been on a online chat with Lloyds and they said to wait until the end of today because contacting child benefits because its more than likely a late payment sent on their end however ive checked on my online child benefits last 5 payments and its showing the last one as 3rd june 2024(today) so fingers crossed its in the bank asap

Seriously? You've not slept a wink due to worrying about not being able to move money into savings the second it arrives in your account? Get over yourself FFS.

I understand that some people will need the money today to buy food, pay bills or get to work, but for the other 99%, they'll just use other money they have and when the money arrives within the next day or two (after all, HMRCs webpage on CB say that it is normally paid on the first Monday or Tuesday of the month so just because people are used to getting it on the Monday and seeing notification of it arriving at the weekend before doesn't mean that it is guaranteed to arrive like that) all will be well.

Because it's not like because the money isn't in people's accounts now, they're just not going to bother sending it at all.

If some people are getting it and some not and are at the same bank, it's an HMRC problem..... (I can see at least 1 other coop bank person who didn't get it whereas I did).

Hopefully we get it today, or they at least let us know what's happening

This thread feels a bit bizarre to me. There are 200 + comments on here from people saying they've not received CB and then there are people replying to the same thread writing massive posts saying they've not received CB and asking if anyone else has the same issue. Surely they can see others have?
Have a lot of these posts been written by bots or something? This thread feels very un mumsnet.

Ah I didn't realise it might be Tuesday. I wouldn't panic until Tuesday then
