botwatch 81. The latest thread in a very long series about the deceptions practised by mlms. Unbelievably people are still being hooked in by these schemes where 97 of those who join lose money?

Thread 81! The scam that keeps on giving! MLM, network marking, social selling or whatever else you want to call it. It rinses you of your money, time and friends for the dream of wealth, which never happens. Why? The business model ensures that only those at the very top of the 'pyramid' stand a chance of wealth, all the rest of us just "pay to play". The dream is a nightmare. Tell your stores here.

Having looked at Knitted Headbands feed, her Diamond leader hasn’t posted in her comments despite her feeds being a carbon copy of Yawn’s. Once she has them signed up and doing monkey say monkey do she doesn’t give a shit about them.
Surely these idiots can see that Yawns tried and tested method doesn’t work. They will probably know what Yawns director bonuses have been for the last few years. I wonder how she explains how low they are.
I suppose if they are happy with crumbs then that’s ok.
How many of Yawn’s new recruits are actually recruited by her downlines?

Sugarplum48 · 12/02/2024 16:36

Academy!! Dear lord, she'll be driving around Spain in a camper van next flogging gloop and such like crap like Castle. It must be exhausting trying to invent new ways to scam people 🙄

NormalForNuneaton · 12/02/2024 16:49

I know we've said before that Yawn clearly isn't very good with numbers (let's face it nothing she says adds up! 😆) but it seems worse than we thought....she can't even count to 5 accurately as she's just posted about limiting her monthly sign-ups to 5 but added "I’ve accidentally recruited more than my capped 5". D'oh

YouOKHun · 12/02/2024 17:50

@MaybeItsJustTimeToStop ah thank you. She was Soldier Bot briefly (possibly just in my head!). But Headband Bot will do nicely.

Yes, Yawn really is struggling with numbers. She keeps mentioning all sorts of digits when Zero would be the right one. The decimal point is always too far to the right in all her ramblings. She may not have recruited over five, it’s just she’s over counting because they keep appearing in her Zoom calls twice.

hurlyburlygirly · 12/02/2024 19:49

I like that yawn is fleecing her way to success. Very apt. Grin

That made me laugh!

BSintolerant · 13/02/2024 00:26

Much laughter indeed! 🤣😂🤣

Is Yawn’s Freudian slip showing again, or has she resorted to telling half-truths in her announcement that she’s fleecing her way to success? Yes, that’s right: fleecing … I mean, really? That’s quite an admission.

I suppose we should all be grateful she’s not shafting her way to success, or even screwing with that particular destination in mind. Surely Yawn knows deep down, or even in the nooks and crannies of her peculiar psyche that she’s fleecing her way to failure?

Is The Be Plan an MLM? A friend mentioned that someone she knows contacted her promoting their products, and I checked out the reviews and website and it's ringing alarm bells.

It is - it's basically Juice Plus aka vitamin pills at vast expense.

Thank you! I will let my friend know. I didn't want to jump to conclusions but glad to have it confirmed.

Sugarplum48 · 13/02/2024 17:49

Good god the castles are now into property development. I wonder how much that cost her mum and dad!!

Angrymum22 · 13/02/2024 19:59

I think Castles DF had a successful business as a shop fitter before retiring so well placed to do the grunt work for them.

SnoogyWoo · 13/02/2024 19:59

Not that old chestnut, fail at a few businesses and think it’s easy to make money at property. Very difficult to flip a property and make money in this market and people like the castles never track their costs properly.

YouOKHun · 13/02/2024 21:05

I saw the Castles had been impulse buying at auction. I can picture Mr Castle Senior breaking his back doing all the donkey work and uncovering costly problems while Castle spends the Senior Castles’ money in John Lewis as her contribution to “my new property development business” (basically just going shopping).

When it’s all done and has cost more than it’s worth she will then tell the Seniors they can rent it from her at the top of the market rate. Then Bruv will want a nice newly converted house as well…

I wonder how the Planner business is going? Castle is now so irrelevant I find I can’t be bothered to look at her SM very often.

Angrymum22 · 14/02/2024 01:57

Just had a look at Castles online market place attached to scamversity. I wonder if Etsy will spot it since the name is very similar. Fifty percent of the listings are FL bots, the rest are all MLM’s bar a few home made tat venders, a couple of coaches and a planner seller. So much for attracting genuine business entrepreneurs.
I also wonder whether FL will be happy that their products are still lining the pocket of their fallen angel indirectly.

My god it’s a bin fire of MLMs, coaching and the odd craft business

NormalForNuneaton · 14/02/2024 16:12

What is it about bots that draw them into anything woo .... just been listening to Bruv wittering on about Belief Coding.

One session and his income has gone up already (probably means mum and dad have increased his pocket money!)

YouOKHun · 14/02/2024 16:34

@NormalForNuneaton BC is that Apprentice woman’s scam isn’t it? Bruv is just a rootless grifter ripe for any old distraction isn’t he? They’ll love him and Castle; not too bright, lots of pocket money and what looks like (at first sight) a healthy recruitment possibility among the followers of castle and Bruv.

BC is troubling. It’s the usual coaching pyramid that can’t resist crossing into mental health territory. There was someone the other day who had done a few hours of training and offering to help people with complex PTSD and a couple of really vulnerable sounding people posted, one who had suffered CSA. I hope they can’t afford to pay the BC woman. There was another post the other day from a woman who has been trying to do belief coding all year and has spend a good £3k on “training”. She was clearly struggling and depressed and inevitably being lead to believe her lack of improvement was down to her abilities.

Spongebobette · 14/02/2024 16:38

Grrrr that makes my blood boil

NormalForNuneaton · 14/02/2024 17:59

How can they get away with it?!

Something is going to go horribly wrong one day and one of these scammy businesses/coaches is going to be implicated

worcestersauce29 · 14/02/2024 19:44

I was privy to Yawn and husband in the wild today (I spotted him first). I then heard Yawn chatting to a shop assistant, she was clearly an ex downline……’well if you ever want to come back I’d love to have you’ she also mentioned an ex shire bot to her who is long out of it as far as I know. They then got in their car, no rangey in sight!

Spongebobette · 14/02/2024 19:50

Ooh what are they driving?

NormalForNuneaton · 14/02/2024 19:50

I bet Mr Yawn was driving wasn't he?

I only ever see her with him, never on her own.

ticktock19 · 14/02/2024 20:33

Crikey...forever are getting desperate
