What’s the name of the researcher on the prolific ai videos? Would be good to know what to look out for. Thanks

KitKatKathy · 21/12/2025 14:53

Prolific seems to have gone pretty quite for me these last couple of days (only something ridiculously low paid about online tools, which I'm not going to do). I wonder if they are winding down for Christmas?

I'm still doing quite well with Microsoft rewards - If you are happy to use Bing as your search engine of choice, you get paid a small amount for each search you make - You are never going to get rich, however, it soon mounts up to be exchanged for Amazon vouchers:

If anyone is looking join, here is my referral code:

Wow thanks to whoever used my referral code! I was £63 overdrawn and now it’s only £13!😆
I’m chuffed to bits. Also reposting just in case I can get completely back into the black!

I’ve been watching this thread for a while and gotten some good tips. I had a clear out of my children’s clothes that they’d outgrown before Christmas and spent an evening ironing and posting them all on vinted. I’m up to £133 of earnings which I’m really chuffed at. I also found a very old iPhone today and sold that for a tenner!

I’m likely late to the game on this but if anyone wants to sign up for topcashback via my link I’ll receive a bonus when you earn and you get a £10 bonus for signing up, if anyone wishes to you can sign up Here

I also used Everup for the first time today. It works by purchasing gift cards for retailers which you earn cashback on. I bought a £70 Argos gift card to purchase an air fryer and got £1.75 cashback immediately. If you’d like to sign up via my link you can do so Here using referral code RCHR3542055EJCDV

I miss how active these threads used to be and the updates on what people had earned on various websites and methods of selling old clothes etc… It really gave me some great ideas.

Me too it's gone very quiet on here now. I think a lot of the sites we use to use don't have the work now or have just disappeared.

arejcenencehche3uh9f3 · 22/01/2026 17:33

I guess most people don't really want to mention the work they're doing too much because with most of the AI work more people starting takes away work from everyone else. I'm very grateful to the person who gave me a few places to try when Telus binned me off though.

Matched betting is one of the few things where telling others about it doesn't affect what you earn but it's not lucrative once you've burned through the initial offers.

I much agree! I’ve made £50 so far this year on prolific and I’m gearing myself up to start vinting again but it’s soul destroying (and I have a dog and I smoke so it stresses me out).

I’ve also done a bank switch to TSB which should get me £230. A tip I learned which made this easy is that a lot of online accounts (Chase in my case) allow you to just click a little add button to creat a new account. That made it really easy.

Share your Lloyds link if you have an account with them, £50 each. Here’s mine 😉

Today I bought a nicely framed print by a known artist for 99p in the charity shop so I’m gonna list it somewhere, you never know!

Does anyone sell on Etsy?
Does anyone mystery shop?

oh Im also doimg bing rewards. In a couple of months I should have a £5 Tesco voucher 😆

I’ve been averaging £60–90 a month on prolific which I’m happy with. I mainly do the less than 10 minute surveys but ideally would like to try squeeze in some of the longer ones too.

I need to do a big Vinted list this month I’ve got quite a few bits stacked up to sell.

Has anyone heard of People for Research before? I’ve been considering signing up.

planningforthefuture · 07/02/2026 13:59

Monzo are giving upto £50 each for referrals at the moment. You need to make 1 card payment when the account is set up.

I use it for all my side hustle income to save and have previously used it to make money on account switches too 😊

Has anyone had anything from Prolific recently? I updated my ID and updated my profile and haven’t had anything at all since.

Had loads of surveys recently, been cashing out weekly

Justthethingsthatyoudointhisgarden · 08/02/2026 15:26

Just found this thread and must say, it's a lot easier to follow than the money saving expert threads! I need a kick up the bum to get some passive income coming in as I have just reduced my hours at work.

I've sorted out some academic books which should sell on Vinted, plus a dress to post on the Popsy resale page. I have a lot of my MIL's things which I really need to sort through. She passed away in 2020 and I just haven't had the time or headspace to do it til now.

I already use TopCashback and like someone upthread, have downloaded the Everup app. I did get £50 last week for opening a Chase account with a friend's referral code, and got 1% cashback on my Aldi shop.

Are the surveys worth doing?

mydogisthebest · 08/02/2026 16:05

Justthethingsthatyoudointhisgarden

The Prolific surveys are definitely worth doing. I have been doing them for quite a few years but last year I earned far more than I ever have previously. This year I am doing well so far too.

I got DH to join last year and he was accepted immediately and is doing pretty well. My sister had to join a waiting list but only waited about a month and is also doing well.

I also do Prime Opinion surveys. Nowhere near as good but I sit and do them while watching tv.

An easy £50 if you don’t have a Monzo account already is to sign up for a Monzo business account using my link below. Can use Vinted/ebay etc as the business. Once you receive your card spend £1 on it or it does also sometimes works if you use your card online before receiving it but that doesn’t seem to work with everyone. Make sure you sign up using my link and only open a business account - if you open the personal account also you’ll only receive £10.
https://join.monzo.com/c/wnt6ztt I only have three referrals per month so please let me know if you’ve used it then I’ll remove this.

🎉 You’re invited to join Monzo, and get up to £50!

Instructions here but any questions please feel free to ask! My partner has made over £800 referring other people on with Monzo business so definitely worth it.

I highly recommend Social Tip. Download the app and create contents for the brands that you buy. Highest reward can be up to £50 per content. Check out the app and see if this is right for you. You don't need to have many followers. Just create good contents.

This is my referral link. You get £1 for signing up and upload a post within 14 days and I get £5. Thank you.
