i was expecting to be kicked off potatoes last month but I must have just tipped over 1000.

I’ve had a round with Amur, even though I don’t think I did the availability survey. 7 items, but only two actual items to buy. One was a UK high street brand and the other from a Chinese company selling very very cheap ‘branded’ sports stuff. Annoyingly there was a site selling quirky art which I would have loved, but was £££
My RL job has settled down a little now so I’m looking to pick up something else.

IsItOnly2023 · 11/04/2023 16:54

Hi all,

I'm new here so sorry if I'm not up to scratch. My 15 year old son is really in to earning extra cash and is willing to work for it too.

He's very mature and highly intelligent so I don't think his age would be an issue content/ability wise, nothing too grim though!

Also, ideally he wouldn't have to do too much in me/DH name as we're quite privacy fussed and tax etc.

Any recommendations?

Bobsyouruncleand · 11/04/2023 17:22

@IsItOnly2023 I am pretty sure that some of the survey sites allow you to do them at 14/15 years old, or so my daughter tells me as she’s also desperate to earn some pennies.

I would look each one up and see which he can legitimately do in his own name, so there won’t be any issues. I did Qmee and Attapoll and both were ok, but you do get screened out for some of the surveys and annoyingly after completing some of it. Not sure if either of those can be done by children.

HicLocusEst · 11/04/2023 18:00

Also rejoining you. Was on the initial threads and the glory days of N*le. 😂 Hours will be cut a bit at work between now and June so getting back on the wagon. Still doing the odd Prolific, and have a couple of Appens on the wait list. Was kicked off Crisp about a year ago.

cailingaelach · 11/04/2023 18:41

Just an update on Telus, passed the three part exams and started work with them today. Going to keep Crisp up too, had over £300 last month and it seems fairly busy so far this month. Telus pays €12 something an hour and I can work 28 hours a week I think. Work been available all day today so fingers crossed.

ZetaPuppis · 11/04/2023 19:25

Well done @cailingaelach
Did you do the maps exam?
You've inspired me to keep going but I have to keep going back to the guidelines and end up making £3 for half an hour or something so I leave it for a while and when I go back, I've forgotten again!

cailingaelach · 11/04/2023 19:38

@ZetaPuppis no not maps it was rating websites but when I started work today it was maps? I'm just finding my feet with it..not too sure what I'm doing! Crisp mod2 busy enough right now too.

CherryRipe1 · 11/04/2023 20:10

Not rtft but can anyone recommend any of the tasking sites besides airtasker or task rabbit? Thanks

ZetaPuppis · 11/04/2023 20:31

@cailingaelach ah right. I think we had a convo before about the exam but I thought you were doing the maps one.
They do give you lots of other work too.

cailingaelach · 11/04/2023 21:44

@ZetaPuppis that's right! It's been great today I did a few hours and every time I logged on there was plenty of work. Did a little more earlier and it was a mix of maps and other stuff.

YonderTweek · 14/04/2023 11:13

Me again! Can I please PM someone about the Potato invoicing process? I'm all new to this and don't want to mess it up. Lol. So far I have really enjoyed the work though and I hope they keep me on for a while. :)

BecauseOfIndia · 15/04/2023 08:18

@YonderTweek feel free to DM me 🙂

Think I have done something wrong with this, as it isn't mentioning the £10 on the referral link. So don't use it.

cailingaelach · 15/04/2023 11:39

I've had on work on Telus since yesterday, says no tasks available since then. Wondering if that's normal, I'm in Ireland. Hope I've not been kicked off already!

PleaseGoDontGoAgain · 15/04/2023 14:33

User interviews. It's similar to respondant in look but unlike respondant I've been accepted to several studies in my first month making £170ish, online, zoom, phone, f2f studies available.

I don't usually share sites but I've not seen this one mentioned yet and I made £42 for a 15 minute zoom interview about cleaning products!.

Woah it seems Telus are suddenly proper contenders, did they used to be another name?

cailingaelach · 15/04/2023 15:18

@PleaseGoDontGoAgain they were Lionbridge I think.
