As we're a few days into October thought I'd set up a new thread ( but couldn't think of a creative title!)

Hope everyone had a good September and hopefully lots of earning to be had this month. Welcome to any newcomers.. I've (hopefully) copied the usual links over from the last thread but if you have any questions ask away, there's usually someone who can help Smile

Micro tasks / Moderation work – generally the biggest earners.

Hahahahaha OMG, Appen are still sending out their desperate emails about SprPr*t. I've already told them numerous times why I'm not doing it. They've still changed nothing so no wonder they're having trouble recruiting people! I really would like some extra work but there's no way I'm trying it again, it was ridiculous.

ZetaPuppis · 24/10/2021 14:51

Thanks @Catatemyhomework. Have pm’d you. Smile

onemouseplace · 24/10/2021 16:46

Quick question about Am** for those doing it - it's just popped up on my available projects to apply to. Do you get paid in addition to receiving the products?

Redcrayons · 24/10/2021 17:30

@onemouseplace yes you do. It’s not a huge amount though.

AnotherOne4 · 26/10/2021 07:44

@onemouseplace Am** scares me lol. I keep thinking I've got the project, but then nothing happens. It's one I want to try, but also the first few goes will be very time consuming, so I'm not that bothered if I don't get it.

LoLo2020 · 26/10/2021 08:15

All of a sudden I'm getting longer term project offers from Appen. Fingers crossed I can actually pass the qualification on at least one of them 🤣

AnotherOne4 · 26/10/2021 08:22

@LoLo2020 good luck!! Grin

swiftt · 27/10/2021 11:35

Hey everyone!

Is anyone on UC? I have done some Rev work whilst on mat leave but am getting universal credit and not sure how to report the earnings as it was just a one off really, I don’t have time to do it regularly.

cantbeforeal · 27/10/2021 14:12

Is there things you can do on Appen with not much experience of doing work on computers? I'm looking on there now but it all seems quite complicated

anxiouswaiting · 27/10/2021 21:20

Did anyone do the Telus exam and can tell me how you access the exam? I had an e-mail last week saying my exam would be today, but I have had no link or anything to access it.

MarigoldMoonStone · 28/10/2021 07:41

Anyone been paid by potato yet this month?

Lostatsea10 · 28/10/2021 08:16

Hi hope you don’t mind me joining, I’ve just gone on mat leave so could do with some extra money. I’ve signed up to prolific and Appen but Lionbridge seems to be permanent positions, unless I’m looking in the wrong place. Also, what’s WWW? Thanks

AnotherOne4 · 28/10/2021 08:26

Welcome @Lostatsea10 WWW - Way With Words.

Lostatsea10 · 28/10/2021 08:29

Thank you. Hopefully I’ll start to top up my wages soon. Even just a little bit helps though some longer term projects like some of you have managed to get would be great.

kneesknocking · 29/10/2021 12:29

Anyone been invited to start Riv* P ? Just got the email but will need to spend some time refreshing my memory about the job as it was so long ago I did the quiz!

cookiecookie22 · 29/10/2021 16:02

Hi everyone this is my first ever mumsnet post :) Here is a project for you: jobs.oneforma.com/job/ring-uk/ . 60 (English) or 75 dollars (Welsh, Northern Irish or Scottish) for native British English speakers who leave 5 scripted voicemail messages. Calls have to be made at different times of the day over 3 days and you will probably need headphones with a microphone to cover the different requirements. There is also a referral scheme.

BecauseOfIndia · 30/10/2021 10:12

Is anyone here on the Telus mystery shopping project? I'm doing the weekly pilot one and having constant problems with being paid, just wondering if I'm alone in this or not? Sad

LoLo2020 · 30/10/2021 10:57

I've actually managed to pass a test to do some work on Appen, I had to share as my track record is shocking! 🤣

AnotherOne4 · 30/10/2021 13:16

@LoLo2020 Oh well done! What project are you on?

LoLo2020 · 30/10/2021 13:36
@LoLo2020 Oh well done! What project are you on?
Thanks @AnotherOne4 , it is a transcribing one ae. Whether I actually get work remains to be seen :) How you getting on? Waiting for work for another called c*e but nothing yet :/

AnotherOne4 · 30/10/2021 14:05

@LoLo2020 I was working on SC, but work ran out Thursday. The job is good, but it has issues (quizzes don't work properly). They've offered extra hours again, but there is no work Hmm
You seem to be really good at transcribing Smile

makinganavalon · 30/10/2021 14:09

Hi all, can anyone let me know how long it took for Rev to accept or decline them?

LoLo2020 · 30/10/2021 21:16

I'm glad you got more work :) It's a shame the regularity of the work is still a bit hit and miss, even we we do get selected! Hang in there. Still miss SD :( RV is supposed to be launched in November properly but whether that happens or not, remains to be seen. Be cool if it did! Oh I've not done any transcribing yet so I'll probably mess it up ha ha! Just feel less stupid having passed an exam! 😅

TheHumanFund · 31/10/2021 00:09

@BecauseOfIndia I have a relative who is on the monthly Telus project but has never had an issue with payments. What's the problem? I can ask him for advice.

Tohaveandtohold · 31/10/2021 08:45

@BecauseOfIndia, I’m on the monthly mystery shopping project and I’ve never had problems. I was not accepted to the weekly ones. Try and raise a ticket because I find they are usually very quick to respond.
