I'm gutted about SD too. Was fantastic earner for me, $280 a week. I will miss it terribly and so will my bank balance 😢
I have got to take the Yn exam. I've put it off twice as was so busy with SD and Riv. Now SD is over and Riv ran out of data today 😢 Better get cracking with Yn. Dreading it though. So much to learn. I still have LB maps but it's not easy and I've neglected it massively with the Malta projects on the go. Better get on with that again or they'll kick me off. I just live Malta projects so much! 😢

@Catatmyhomework Hiya, I'm also doing the LB maps, only started a week ago so not had invoice updated yet, is it worth pursuing? I'm not even sure how much I am earning from it! I also can't find any chat forum, do you know if there is one with LB?

@superpinkgirl, I think it probably is worth sticking with, as it's permanent, but I am so slow that it's hardly worth the money at the moment. If I spent more time on it I reckon I'd speed up but I've only been doing it since May and not all the time due to other projects. They invoice 2 months in arrears. I got paid in July for work done in May. I earned less than £100 but better than nothing. I'm sure you can earn more once you get quicker and qualify for other jobs with them. I have not found a chat forum for LB either. I was wondering about that too!

@Catatmyhomework I didn't realise they paid two months in arrears that's annoying I was hoping for something this month! Thanks for letting me know I would have been wondering what was going on! Thanks for all the info, I think I will persevere with it as I don't have much of anything else going on at the moment!

How well paid is Ykn? Is it worth it? The seem to require a LOT of access to your phone and personal data...

I submitted potato invoice on Saturday and I was paid yesterday so less than one working day. I use PayPal though

Prolific

For any newbies like me, just to give a heads up on Prolific’s payment system.

You are paid by PayPal but not instantly until you have done 4 cash outs. The payment days are Tuesday and Friday and you’re only allowed one active cash out at a time. So potentially it will take at least 2 weeks to achieve the 4 required cash outs until you get upgraded to instant payment.

I was going to let the pot fill up nicely but have decided to do 4 mini cash outs so I can get that instant access for a bigger pot later down the lane

Ahh that’s interesting @AppleJane - I didn’t know that. I’m not a newbie to Prolific, but it seems they have changed a lot since I joined. I have a big sun sitting in my Prolific - really must cash out before something happens or changes and I can’t get it.

I also see QMEE has changed again.

@AppleJane oh they've changed things around then as @AnotherOne4 said. I've been on it for quite a while and wouldn't know. I save it up too.

Not been on Qmee for a few was, started to get screened out a lot or didn't fit criteria for a survey, half way through, grrrr.

@Frenchdoors1 and @AnotherOne4 Maybe we could get a list together of how long each platform takes to pay out roughly?

I'm assuming that most people will be earning the extra income to save up for something special or to pay off a credit card etc but some people might be a bit more desperate for some cash and need it within a week or so.

From my limited experience I'd say match betting and prolific are quick turnarounds and clickworker is a longer option but I'm not sure how long yet CW takes.

@AppleJane, I have put just a few examples on here....
I think CW payout every fortnight, i never really keep an eye on this because they have always paid out, always.
Some of the tasks say for example 'payable on the 28th' and some will say another date so if you were to earn say 10 euros then you may not get all that when they come to payout because of the different dates involved.

Prolific usually pay either the same day, the day after, 4 days after or a week or so after probably because some of them have a lot of content to check from a lot of people.

Qmee payout as soon as you get to a certain amount but i don't know the amount now because as @AnotherOne4 said above, it's all changed.

Appen is once a month for the projects but i don't know the ins and outs, only for what i have done.

I haven't done Matched Betting so i can't say .

Intellizoom is automatic payment three weeks after each survey.

Just had an email from paypal, they've placed restrictions on my account as I've been 'using it in a questionable manner'.
I've submitted the proof of ID and address they have asked for, but it will take up to 5 days to review. Ideal when I'm waiting for my Crisp payment any day now.

They know the companies have paid you because you've done work for them..

@rhij86 do you ever use your PayPal balance for purchasing or just straight to your bank transfers?

I find PayPal are better to communicate with when you ring them. I've never had a problem yet they didn't immediately deal with on the phone and they can over-ride automatic system actions. Probably just a silly computer algorithm.
