Ahh, don't feel bad. Hope everything picks up for us it's a bit quiet at the moment.

@Frenchdoors1 aren't they just! long gone are the days of me earning £800+ a month on appen, now I'm barely scraping £100 a month between appen and crisp. The conversion rate doesn't help!

Can anyone tell me what project people are talking about checking back on this evening - want to see if it's one I'm signed up for or one I've missed.

Also, anyone been accepted on sut'nd but still awaiting logins for the tool?

Hi, thanks for the new thread :) I passed rookie level on Rev captioning, earned over $30 on there over the last couple of days.

I’ve been waiting 5 days now for my final project to be graded so that I can hopefully move out of Rookie.

@rhij86 Yes, you did well on Appen didn't you.

The project we are checking later (unless it comes sooner) is the one you have just mentioned, Sut'nd. Have you checked your spam folder? As it usually goes in there the SRT tool.
I was late to the party on this project and I started it on the 12th of May, there were a few good runs on it then it was stopping & starting then there were issues they had to sort out. It was actually supposed to finish last Friday but it looks like it's carrying on for a bit longer.

@Frenchdoors1 oh man don't tell me it's due to finish, that would be just my luck
I got accepted on 26th April, raised a ticket about two weeks ago as no logins yet (check spam every day) and had an email last week saying that there was a delay in getting everyone their logins due to the massive ramp up in work and workers

@rhij86 Oh no, that's a long wait, seems like they were seriously busy sorting everyone out then when you sent a ticket.
I imagine that you should get it any day now though, a lot of people applied way after the project was announced or got accepted as there are still newbies on the chat, and I thought I was late!

@Frenchdoors1 hopefully I make it in before the work runs out then :)

@rhij86 Yes, I hope you do.

@allrhij86 hope you make it onto SD. It's my first long term project and it's a really nice one. They increased the hours, and added bonuses. So everyone was getting through the work really quick, as they literally doubled their hours.
I never quite managed to double my hours though

I really need to get back in to checking this thread and appen daily for new things to apply for.

@rhij86 I’m in the same position. Keep getting emails thanking me for my patience but nothing so far. I have the login email but can’t get an activation code. Hopefully they’ll sort out the IT issue soon.

@PersianStar I didn't get an activation code and I searched high and low for it after reading this thread a few weeks ago that some posters had said they didn't receive it.
I still got on the project okay without it though.

@PersianStar and @Frenchdoors1 I'm pretty sure I never got an activation code either, and I can access/work the project.

@Frenchdoors1 @AnotherOne4 can I ask which way you went through it to access it with no code? I follow the email, press join my team and it then asks for an activation code?

@PersianStar Oh, so it still asks for it, hmm. Can you mess around and bypass it?
Sorry I can't help anymore here but hopefully someone who did have an access code will remember how they got on.

Hello! I've name changed to join this thread-i'm a regular user but feared this may be outing...

As my new name suggests I'm in the process of being shoved out of my job. Currently on long term sick leave getting SSP but that's not going to pay the bills so I'm keen to now be proactive rather than wallow.

I'm a total newbie to this and keen to get started - but where/how? Any advice?!

Just wondering if anyone is doing the rater exam on LB or is just me?

WOOHOOO i seem to finally be getting somewhere with appen, I'm now on the UHRS site and can see a fair few Hit tasks. BUT im not going to lie its like nonsense to me. I've tried a few qualifiers and failed. Anyone got any tips for best ones to that are easy to start with.

Also do any hits we do filter into appen invoice if not how do we get paid for them? Thanks

@Catatemyhomework wow you passed the exam! I missed that, well done! I tried to take the exam again but the link didn't work, my application got re-sent to recruitment and then they rejected me so I replied as I think there is some confusion. Hopefully I can get onto the exam again
