I've just quickly started a new thread as the other one was finishing

@Snowballs1 I've not heard a peep from them, even when they sent me my invoice for £7 they didn't mention it I guess with the work as thin on the ground as it is at the moment, they can't really say much?

Anyone else had an email saying you've been accepted onto Riv*a (the SD pivot) after all?

It's in ADAP so I should hopefully be able to do some work despite not yet being able to work SD due to not having my logins yet.

@rhij86, I've had the email for Riv**a. Thought I'd failed as I got 75%. Weird!

@rhij86 yeah, I just checked and I’ve got it. I only got 78% on the quiz. I’ll check it out tomorrow I think.

@swiftt, yep tomorrow will do. I'm knackered tonight. On the SD chat they're saying it's not on their projects page and they're worried to work it. It's not on mine either. Mighf wait for further clarification and stick to SD for now unless we hear any different..

@Catatemyhomework ah, weird. I haven’t checked mine but assume it will be the same. I’ll probably wait til there’s more info too then. Least SD is still around!

I've gone ahead and worked the second queue and it's quite enjoyable. Decided not to wait as I know, like you say, people aren't sure. There's another quiz you have to pass to access the queues though and I got through with 81%. Maintaining an average of 76% across the batch of jobs I've done (2). I'm so impatient

Ps it's weird as I flunked the first queue quiz and got a message saying I can't continue with the job! Did the same second queue and passed. will hold off until more clarity is received.

Argh, I was hoping to squeeze in a bit of SD this morning but there are no tasks available. Never mind! There's always K**x but the task I'm on atm is so bloody dull! I shouldn't complain really because any work is better than no work, but I'm really struggling with my motivation with this one. Haha.

@YonderTweek you are probably out now, but there is work on SD now.
In my ideal world, I'd love to do six hours on SD today, tomorrow and Monday - then I can have a much more relaxed week Doubt work will last that long though.

I've just watched the podcast too. I have mixed feelings about it. I think I'm doing it right, but they do mention how so many people are rating wrong still

Anyone trying the new R job, the first bit of the podcast is about that. SD bit starts at 6 mins in.

Doing a bit of Riv this morning. But just noticed it’s not on my drop down for invoicing so not sure how to invoice for it. Anyone else?

Be aware you have to get at least 70% right on R....a otherwise they boot you off apparently

@swiftt, I think ADAP tool records your hours. Atleast it has with other Appen projects where ADAP is the platform so it's not self-reporting.

I haven't started Riv yet. I'm too scared. Only got 75% in the exam so not sure why they picked me!
@LoLo2020, that sounds very difficult. I might wait for a bit until I hear more about how it's going for people. I'm a chicken. Lol!

It does doesn't it agh. As I got 74% on the quiz I don't hold out much hope of lasting too long ha ha!

(I've been thinking the last few days, that I'm going to treat myself to a little something, as I've been working so hard! I have QVC on in the background, and I just purchased a new solar light Just thought I'd share that useless piece of information. What is everyone else going to do with their earnings?)

@Catatemyhomework ah okay, that would be handy if it does. It’s not listed in my auto-generated tasks on my invoice, and haven’t done any other than SD so I’m still a total newb. The instructions are the same as SD with regards to recording your own time so I’m just a bit confused!

Oh, the good thing is it gives you your accuracy after you complete each page so at least you have an idea of if you’re on the right track or not, unlike SD! 🙈

@AnotherOne4, that's a good idea. I would like to treat myself too. Haven't had a hair cut since before Christmas so I will do that when we get paid in June. For the first time ever, it looks like I may earn over £1000 from these projects this month.
I have just been hit with a random school trip for ds which I will have to stump up for. That was the beauty of lockdown. No school trip costs lol!
I still haven't taken the plunge with Riv yet. Have managed an hour on SD.

If you earn that much, then you defo deserve a treat.

This has been my first month on Appen. I have only done Har*h. It says that the invoice for this is auto generated. I did this work about 3 weeks ago but I haven't heard anything. Is this normal? Even though the invoice is auto generated do I need to create an invoice?

Does anyone know the fees payoneer take? Is it a flat rate of $X per payment received or is it %? Payoneer isnt very clear on where to find this info, I seem to go round in circles.
Do they take more off you when you request the money to your bank account?

@Tattiespuds They charge a $3 flat fee and you lose out on the exchange rate if your balance is in dollars.

@Poppylife Hi, Yes it's normal as they have to check everyone's work so don't worry. The invoice is auto generated so you won't have to do anything now
