Hi all, happy May. Welcome to this months thread. I'll load up the link later. If anyone else wants to do it, feel free, I'm rubbish at it.

The idea of this thread is to earn a bit of extra cash, as the title suggest. Have a look and these threads go back a while and might give you some ideas.

Newbies welcome. We're a lovely, helpful lot.

Went to bed earlyish last night feeling hopeful about the news of SD work. Wide awake now so thought I’ll go get my laptop and do some work in bed. Aaaand there is no work again!

Poo it's all gone again! It does have a habit of appearing in the evening so fingers crossed for later

@PandemicPalava it’s actually trickling through for me now! I wanted to get a few hours in for yesterday, hopefully it carries on trickling!

Ooh is it? I may stick to it later then. I have some more P**y work for a couple of hours. That's ending soon but no idea when

I passed Rev ... I applied as a captioner as opposed to a transcriber though- thought it might be more interesting. I wonder if you can do both?

Managed to get in three hours last night and note patchy jobs again :(

Ha ha, like you I thought,'ooh I can do some work'. Apparently not Although I've had six jobs in 9 mins so it's better than it was prior to yesterday's little splurge!

I'm here too. I don't have any work though
I managed just over two hours yesterday. Knew I should have stayed up longer lol

@AnotherOne4 aw no! I’ve managed an hour, and it’s still trickling through somewhat steadily for me.

I've had a few come through, but I'm waiting longer then I'm working.
Just trying to listen to the podcast....not found the SD bit yet though

I've just had a good run.

Just watched the podacst and feel a bit better about it. I'm doing it how they do it, phew! The only thing I'm not doing correctly is the names, but I've not had many of those.

Someone in chat (from Canada I believe) was saying it tends to appear at night and be gone again by morning. So fingers crossed for tonight.

No work on SD again apparently according to chat. Not checked yet but about to log in. Dribs and drabs apparently. Wish I'd pulled an all nighter now!

@Catatemyhomework I got an hour or so earlier then I fell asleep! Might have to pounce on it tonight if it appears again, I thought I’d be safe enough leaving it til this morning but obviously not.

@swiftt, it's a shame, because I thought there would be enough to take us up to Friday at least. Now I don't think I'll get any hours in this week let alone 20 and 40 is a pipe dream!

@MrsWombat Yes, a steady trickle I'd say Have clocked 2 hrs work in a 4 hour stint

@kneesknocking sorry to sound dim but how do you know you've done 2 hrs out of 4?

@Frenchdoors1 I time them on the stopwatch on my phone Start it says hen I click on the wiki link and stop when I submit or skip

@Frenchdoors1 only do this when they're coming through in dribs and drabs though
