Hi all, happy May. Welcome to this months thread. I'll load up the link later. If anyone else wants to do it, feel free, I'm rubbish at it.

The idea of this thread is to earn a bit of extra cash, as the title suggest. Have a look and these threads go back a while and might give you some ideas.

Newbies welcome. We're a lovely, helpful lot.

I'm going to apply as I have nothing else going on and I don't mind it. I got an email about At..s last week but when I clicked the next day the test was closed. It would be nice to get regular work. That said my LB project has tasks today.

Oh no @LoLo2020. Isn't that always the way. You think a little extra cash is coming your way, and bam! something happens and you've spent it before you've even earnt it.

Doh! I feel like such an idiot. I was poking around on my SRT and the penny finally dropped for me. (with a little thanks to @Catatemyhomework for pointing me in the right direction)

I filtered my work to show the last 7 days (using the clock filter in top right hand corner) and it shows my total review time. WHICH.....is only an hour less then what I make it (happy with that!)
I'm guessing work from this morning wasn't showing up, as it was in a different time zone.

Hello again. Projects that have come through on appen are one wanting voice recordings and another video.....not sure when I'll get the time to do it because our house is always noisy chaos (especially with the toddler)....I may just not do these and wait for something else. Has anyone else done these sort of tasks?

I've earned about £7 from qmee since yesterday.

Have signed up for a lot of other research sites...and passed the tests on Way With Words, just have to complete the offline task next.

Does anyone know what an SRT log in is? There's quite a few projects on appen that needs this

I've had a congrats email for the B* replacement project, even though I've not done the quiz! Anyone else?

@ruralwanderer Yep, same! No idea what's going on 😑

@Rad2016 It's used for certain projects like the MxLTx ones and you will get a FB email address to use. The invite will end up in your spam box so keep an eye out if you get on a project.

Anyone on Sxthxrlxnd anywhere near the 40 hour maximum? hint: not me.

@MrsWombat same here! I started late too but I don't think I'll make 20. Though I woke very early this morning and got a couple of hours done before the kids woke up. Amazed by people I've seen on the chat managing to hit 40 hours on top of full time jobs

Me too. I will manage 20 if I work for 4 hours today. No way will I do 40!

Haha no way I'll be doing 40 hours! My kid would never see me. Also, my arm already hurts. If I absolutely cane it today I might hit the 25 to get the lowest bonus, but I'm not too bothered. I've done my 20 and I'm tired (I was up at 4am doing it because I couldn't sleep. Rock n roll!) and I also have other projects to do. I'm still not convinced I'm even going to get paid for this one because I have no idea what I'm doing, so I don't want to invest a silly amount of time only to be booted out.

@YonderTweek this is what I’m worried about! It’s my first project and I’ve no idea if I’m doing it right, to be honest. I’m worried I’ll hammer the hours in and then not get paid! When do you find out if the invoice is accepted? At the end of the month?

I’ve been trying to peel potatoes but there doesn’t seem to be much.

Think I'm going to hit my potato minimum today 🥔 😀 had a brilliant day the other day. Hoping to get a good amount this month 🤞🏼 it's very quiet again today though.

@TheLolaMontez @ZetaPuppis yep it is back to being quiet today. Managed to hit the minimum yesterday so at least don't have to worry about that.

Regards to B7n3 or whatever it is called, also seem to have qualified without qualifying! I don't know what is going on with that , will just go with it and not think about it.

How did I miss potato yesterday? I was checking throughout the day.

My PayPal account got permanently restricted a while ago for no specific reason (but I think it's because I obtained a Debt Relief Order and it affected my credit so badly maybe?!) ..... so its a bit of a problem for me that so many of these companies will only pay through them. PayPal will not let me remove my bank account details or close the account and I cannot open a new account. They're ruthless!

My mum is letting me use her PayPal when there's no option to set up future payments to Payoneer or straight to my bank account.
However I'm having a mare with Intellizoom because they don't give you the option to link to a different PayPal account - you have to link your intellizoom account (signed up to with my email) to the PayPal account registered with the same email (the PayPal account I cannot use). So I have no way of getting paid and therefore can't do any work for them.

Just got what looks like a standard email to say I'm on waiting list but only achieved 18 (pass mark 19). Email doesn't say whether I can take test again. Do I try again to gain pass? Pass mark is 19 but you can keep trying. Keep in mind that there may be more than one risk.
