Hi all, I completed the initial Crisp test & got 16/20 whereas pass mark is 19/20! I got an email to say Im on their waiting list. Do you think I still have a chance to get work even though I failed the test?!

Wolfff · 18/01/2021 16:35

@GingerBrummie

You need to take the test again until you reach 19/20 or whatever they are asking for

bookgirl1982 · 18/01/2021 16:36

@GingerBrummie you will need to take the test until you reach the pass mark

GingerBrummie · 18/01/2021 16:42

Damn! It was hard but will do, thanks @Wolfff & @bookgirl1982

YonderTweek · 18/01/2021 17:07

@seizethecuttlefish I think we may have bought the same chocolate. Was it a fancy "no dairy, low sugar, funky flavours" kind of affair? I was excited about it but the chocolate didn't taste like anything. Grin Customer service was good though!

endofday · 18/01/2021 17:18

Any potato PayPal people get paid yet?

seizethecuttlefish · 18/01/2021 17:25

@YonderTweek yep. They love it on Dragons Den apparently Grin I offered it to my vegan friend who told me there's so much cr4p in it that she wouldn't touch it. I've got a whole box.

@Buster27 Interesting tip. I'm yet to do the second attempt but I don't have any experience in it so it would take me forever to do the work if I was to get any.

TheHumanFund · 18/01/2021 19:26

I got that chocolate too - 8 bars of it. I tried the plain milk one and couldn't stomach more than one square 🤣

seizethecuttlefish · 18/01/2021 20:13

@TheHumanFund it was a rubbish month and apart from a jacket that I'm returning there wasn't anything good. I had boots to order and they're horrendous. Even my 90 year old neighbour wouldn't entertain them Grin

Buster27 · 18/01/2021 20:20

@Frenchdoors1 I think I found all the answers by searching (except one, but I'm not sure if I read the question right as all the answers seemed to be wrong haha). I think the guidelines make it sounds more complicated than it is tbh, you soon get the hang of it if you're actually doing the work.

Frenchdoors1 · 18/01/2021 20:25

@Buster27 Ooh, thanks for that. I'll have another proper read of it and see how I get on Smile

TheHumanFund · 18/01/2021 21:04

@seizethecuttlefish It wasn't too bad for me - I got a pair of Nike trainers that I'm going to exchange for a less garish pair and a drill that I hope I get reimbursed for as I had to go to a secondary site to buy it. The other things were rubbish but don't sound quite as bad as your boots Shock
Hopefully the next round will be kinder to you.

YonderTweek · 18/01/2021 21:21

Haha. My mum is all about dairy free/low sugar/healthy stuff so I'm going to send my chocolate bars to her (obvs I also ordered a gift box so I have plenty). The only thing is that sending anything to the EU is a pain in the ass because you now have to fill in forms and it costs more. Angry

I wonder how many returns a certain jewellery chain (lol no pun intended) will be getting soon? I had to order two things and even though they're lush I am returning them, because greed. Grin

unicornpoopoop · 18/01/2021 21:31

I will get £250 in returns this month. So I'm happy 😁

seizethecuttlefish · 18/01/2021 21:41

I've got £100 in returns so happy with that. Last time was ok but this time wasn't. I'm still waiting for a refund from the last round, need to chase that. I've had hideous shoes come up each time but there was always an issue (site not working or crashing) but lucky for me, these bad boys were ok lol. Hey it's free stuff and I get to live out my shopping lifestyle.

YonderTweek · 18/01/2021 22:08

I do love a return. I need to chase one from last month too actually. I had to send something to Ireland and had to deal with those customs forms again. Confused I did ok with returns this month too, about £160. Would be a lot more if I returned the whisky so I'm still contemplating it, but I may keep it because it's something that I do actually want.

I've been thinking about getting into eBay selling for months now, and now with all this extra stuff it would probably be a good time to get on it. I don't know why I'm finding it so difficult to get started though. I'm just put off by all the posting I suppose. One day...

Baby89 · 19/01/2021 07:41

YonderTweek · 19/01/2021 08:37

Ahh that sucks @Baby89. Hope you all get over it quickly. Brew

Baby89 · 19/01/2021 10:17

Thank you @YonderTweek Smile

whysotriggered · 19/01/2021 10:20

@baby89 get well soon

Winterjoy · 19/01/2021 10:32

Hi everyone, I've just registered for the next round of A**r so fingers crossed - will be my first one so I'll be studying the guidelines and reading back through this thread... can't afford to mess up and lose any purchase money!

I applied for Potato last April - is it worth reapplying? I know it can take over year to hear back but is it possible I've dropped off the radar? Concerned though that reapplying might push me to the back of the queue!

endofday · 19/01/2021 10:55

Hi, don't normally have to wait this long, any other 'potato' people not been paid yet,? (Via PayPal)

Wolfff · 19/01/2021 11:00

Nope, still no payment

Redcrayons · 19/01/2021 11:01

@endofday it’s usually 2/3 days for me into my bank. Do you normally get paid next day with PayPal?
