pounds a day and it's a struggle, I find the time goes very slowly!

@bookgirl1982 Sadly it was a fair chunk more than the $3 processing charge. I looked at it more closely thia afternoon, and it looks about in step with what others have received here. The dollar amount is fine on Pneer, then appears as less dollars in PP before the conversion to £, which is comparable to the differential others have received. Still, I spent less this month on Am**.

@MrsWombat The less you do it, the less likely you are to do it the next day, or the day after that... if you see what I mean. I have to be quite strict with myself - I’ve definitely had months where I was rushing to hit that 1k before the deadline, but there really is no reason for me to be in that position. Get 15mins (just 15!) a day and you’ll find you’re probably staying on over that as you get used to it - and seeing your count on the dashboard go up is very satisfying!

I could do with a spot of advice from those doing A**r . I didn't receive confirmation of the order so don't have an invoice for re-imbursements. No email and it wasn't paid with PayPal but dh's credit card. Not a huge amount (dodgy Chinese site) but not sure what to do

@anxiouswaiting does it not have pocket flaps at all or are they sewn up?

@gatekeeper was it one of those does that you have to register an account? If so you may be able to bring it up from the My Orders tab on the website. I always screenshot the order confirmation page just in case I don't get a confirmation email so that may be worth doing next time too. Really hope you can find something useful otherwise it's probably worth raising a ticket to explain or cancelling the order if it hasn't already shipped.

@gatekeeper I always screenshot the order confirmation page and in fact have always used this for reimbursements without any trouble. Have you checked your spam folder? Otherwise might be worth contacting support and see what they say.

@Gatekeeper nope no pockets at all. It feels quite strange, but is very warm and looks nice. I work in the community so this time of year a nice warm coat is very welcome and having no pockets just means I won't fill them with junk! Don't think I would be able to go out for a walk in it though.

I also do screenshots after purchase, have found that often I don't get a usable order confirmation, but the screenshot has always been accepted.

Is anyone else on P@ulins on Appen? I have been invited to start work but unclear if it's a one off or long term project. I think I failed the test originally so they must be scraping the bottom of the barrel.

I got a p4 warning for mistakes on Potato. Please tell me I'm not the only one. I tried to speed up and evidently it went horribly wrong. Feeling a bit despondent.

@Paprikapotato if it makes you feel better I know someone who got a p2 and is still working there months later. They have to flag up mistakes, just learn from it and move on. I have had a warning for getting something wrong before and it's a real confidence knocker. Try not to stress about it lovely

@Wolfff I'm not on it but may apply now that you mentioned it. I'm always checking the new projects and I keep scrolling past it for some reason. I thought it required a skill I didn't have so I didn't look closer but I've just read the info and it looks ok. Maybe I'll give it a go. I've applied for so many things that if I actually get more than one bigger project I'm screwed. 🙈But I only have little projects on now so I'm desperate.

@Paprikapotato I had one too when I started. I stopped doing it for a few days and it knocked me for six but once I got back on it, I was fine.

@Wolfff I sat the test when it had the error and never heard from them. Hope it works out for you.

@Gatekeeper do you know the site? Maybe worth seeing if an accounts created. Definitely check your spam though. As someone else said, I screen dump the confirmation page and use that. Hope you get it sorted.

Am was a bit rubbish for me this month. Only 5 things I could purchase and only 1 can be returned. It's an expensive jacket so at least I'll get that back.

I finally got invited to LB. Anyone working for them?

@Wolfff I was put off applying for Pa** because of the 3-5 hours qualification estimate and commitment of 4 hours a day (toddler and 2 school age children currently at home so prefer to dip in and out/low commitment/one-off big projects I can plan around).
Plus I have spent time reading guidelines, doing and passing the tests only to qualify and never get the access to the tool on other App projects, so I worried it would be another like that.
How was the qualification if you don't mind me asking - did you have to spend a lot of time on it?

Is anyone doing the LB sme project able to log in to the new tool? I just keep getting an error message and raised a ticket

I didn't spend much time. I read through the instructions once, which took maybe 20 minutes at most, then took the test referring back to the material if necessary. I think I was 1 or 2 questions below the pass mark. I don't think I could have done better however much time I spent on it.

I have found previously that a 20 hour project lets you work 10 hours, so that's why I applied, as my current 20 hour project is coming to an end.

My appen invoice is less than it should be.

Should have got £153 reimbursements
Then the piece rate for 7 items
Plus 7 hours Tigris

And it came to $283. Not sure what it will be after the conversion. But even with google conversions it says only £207

Two of my reimbursements got rejected and I got a generic response saying they won't be responding

That's bad @unicornpoopoop why did they reject them?

@AdaShelby one said purchase hadn't been completed and one said I hadn't provided an invoice. Which to be fair I hadn't. As soon as I submitted it I realised I had sent the website screen shot so instantly did the resubmission. Then they emailed me the rejection email and I resubmitted again and then they emailed me a second time so I did it yet again. And also emailed them to ask why they were rejected and I just got a response back saying no assistance can be provided until it's approved!

@Wolfff I had the email about the Pau** project too! I originally applied as it was supposed to be a pivot from my 20 hour project or to make up hours when not enough were available. So I'm not sure I will be able to commit the time if they want me to work this alongside my other project. But I'm going to do the academy and see. I also failed the test by a couple of marks originally so I'm surprised to be added.

@minnimiss are you on E*h**? I got an email saying the Malta projects were ending by mid Jan but nothing to confirm that, though there seems less content each week.

I didn't get a 'project ending' email and I am on a Malta project. I hope it isn't, I love my project.
