I got 7 items on Am** this time, skipped 2 subs ones but I ended up getting a Pandora ring that I'll keep, a small camera that my youngest daughter will probably claim, underwear that I'm sure wasn't intended to make us fall about laughing like we did Grin a cheap t shirt that we'll make use of somehow and some expensive concealer that my other daughter will like, so overall not too bad!

Mancbee · 12/01/2021 14:01

@anxiouswaiting that's exactly what I do. I hit give up after each one then go back in through the link in the email or else it will time out.

ElectricEels · 12/01/2021 14:16

@anxiouswaiting that's how I do it. All at the same time for each purchase.

ElectricEels · 12/01/2021 14:17

Sorry, as in I do the purchase, rating and reimbursement for each one in one go.

Tinging · 12/01/2021 14:28

@YonderTweek no my furniture company started with W, very well know and I've bought from them before so definitely legit thankfully.

I also do the purchase, review and reimbursement for each item before moving on the the next one.

TheLolaMontez · 12/01/2021 14:48

Most of my Am purchases were shite this month. All from foreign/Chinese websites pretty much. Will see what comes...
thanks all for the well wishes for Mini Lola, she had a great time and asked if we could go and see the ladies again after we had got home Smile

Fiddie · 12/01/2021 14:51

Am.. people. Are you sure the piece rate has changed? I can't see anything about it and the tab is still showing the usual one.

bookgirl1982 · 12/01/2021 14:57

@Fiddie it says on the homepage two piece rates per purchase, one for each survey.

Baby89 · 12/01/2021 14:57

Just wondering. Basically looked at amur early morning and noticed i was 40% on the total so did some questionnaire and got to 100% im not sure if thus hindered me getting on to amur this month any help anyone thanks

TeddyDidIt · 12/01/2021 15:02

Finished too - 2 skips from 7. Also got pandora, a personalised photo puzzle, a £40 soap dispenser, some cheap trousers and a cheap personalised necklace. Should be able to return the two most expensive items but I'll just have to hope the trousers and personalised items aren't as bad as they look!

TheHumanFund · 12/01/2021 15:14

Am** people - I'm a bit stuck on whether to skip an item or not. The ad is for a promotion that has ended and the website is a tool manufacturer so nothing is actually for sale on it. It has the option to find suppliers for each item so should I buy from another company or just skip it? The guidelines are not really clear in this situation Confused

Fiddie · 12/01/2021 15:16

@Baby89 how long have you been on the waiting list with Appen? I waited 10 months before getting anything

Also with the one you're asking about it's very over subscribed so it's just pure luck if you get selected.

whysotriggered · 12/01/2021 15:32

@anxiouswaiting if I understand what you are saying then yes. I do mine as I go, one purchase then I do its reimbursement then next purchase etc

I've finished, was pleasantly surprised, last two were a bottle of expensive whiskey and some really nice boots for me!

ElectricEels · 12/01/2021 15:39

@TheHumanFund ooh I don't know! Sorry to be totally unhelpful!

aceofspace · 12/01/2021 16:04

@Catatemyhomework Just checking if you meant that they have added the New and Nip* surveys that you completed last week. I am totally confused about when these should appear on my invoice. None of the surveys I have completed this month have appeared yet.

Gatekeeper · 12/01/2021 16:06

shite...do not do A**r when you have had two hours sleep a night for the last three days. I've just put through an purchase for £120 whilst having in my head it was $120 so it won't be reimbursed as over $150

knickers

Gatekeeper · 12/01/2021 16:10

I got some very nice chocolate, a pair of lovely boots for me, cable protectors, jewellery that I can't be reimbursed for as it was over $150 and might not be able to return , a book about magic (!), a back massager, and some really dreadful Christmas decorations

wished I'd got the whisky and Mac makeup

Catatemyhomework · 12/01/2021 16:22

@aceofspace, yes those two survey projects. I started last week as not had access until then. Was worried about no payment as it seems to be a common theme on the chats for the projects. Today I got an email from appen saying my invoice had been generated. I looked and both of these are on there. The times and dates are as they should be so I am relieved.

ElectricEels · 12/01/2021 16:25

@Gatekeeper can you get in touch with the company and cancel it?

Gatekeeper · 12/01/2021 16:33

@ElectricEels I've emailed them so fingers crossed. It is a renowned old English firm so I am hopeful

thank you

aceofspace · 12/01/2021 16:47

@Catatemyhomework Thanks for your reply. Guess I won't do anymore until they sort themselves out as I don't want to work for free

YonderTweek · 12/01/2021 16:51

I wish I had the whisky!

@gatekeeper I seem to recall reading about others having the same issue in the past. I think they still got reimbursed up to the $150, and anything over they had to cover. So if your cancellation doesn't work or you can't return you might still get most of it back? (Don't quote me on it though because I'm not sure. Haha.)

Catatemyhomework · 12/01/2021 17:06

@aceofspace, there's still time. They still might, but I know what you mean. I was wary after reading responses in chat. Fingers crossed for you🤞

unicornpoopoop · 12/01/2021 17:14

@Buster27 well jealous of your purchases! Sounds like a great round.!

anxiouswaiting · 12/01/2021 17:28

Thanks everyone for the replies about reimbursements.

All my purchases are done now - some nice chocolate, a screen protector, some VERY expensive slippers which I hope I can return, a grave marker Shock and a very expensive pillow which I hope I can return.

My items aren't as good as previous months, but if I can do 2 returns I should get about £180 back so that would be handy!
