@Baby89 are you clicking on the Facebook rating link? Did you get the January email?

TheLolaMontez · 12/01/2021 07:29

Hi all, I'm on Am'r again too! Going to look at it when Miss Montez is at nursery - dropping her off for the first time this morning 😯

TeddyDidIt · 12/01/2021 07:37

Morning all. 7 on Amur this time - half as many as last time but hoping not many skips and I won't feel I need to hold back if I have the chance to choose more expensive items, so fewer might be better. Hope it goes well for everyone!

Baby89 · 12/01/2021 07:50

@ElectricEels no I got no emailConfused

ElectricEels · 12/01/2021 08:09

@Baby89 looks like you weren't chosen this time Sad

ElectricEels · 12/01/2021 08:10

@TheLolaMontez also going to look at mine when the big one goes to nursery. Good luck for the first day!

anxiouswaiting · 12/01/2021 08:49

Hope she has a lovely first day @TheLolaMontez I sat in the car and cried when my youngest started nursery. He loves it though and now on nursery days he hurries me a along because he can't wait to get there!

YonderTweek · 12/01/2021 08:51

@Baby89 Ah that's rubbish. Did you do the availability survey in December? It seems to be very hit and miss! I hope you get to do it next month!

At least I solved my translation problem so I have submitted my work. I'm not sure I'm into this platform as it all seems so random. Ho hum. We'll see if I get any more work from them...

YonderTweek · 12/01/2021 08:56

@anxiouswaiting I was the same. I walked around the corner and burst into tears. Blush My son was not bothered. Haha. He has loved nursery ever since. He's not been for a while because of Covid (I'm quite high risk so have kept him at home) but we're really looking forward to him going back. Fingers crossed nurseries will still be open!

Good luck to the little one, @TheLolaMontez! I hope she has a great day.

ruralwanderer · 12/01/2021 09:13

Just completed my Am** purchases - 7 shown but had to skip one so 6 items purchased, one of which is something I'd been looking at and tempted by before (a funky jumper) and another is an expensive gaming chair from a UK company so I'll return it for a refund. Only one thing that looks utter junk, the rest may be ok! I submitted my reimbursements immediately after each purchase and everything's gone through fine so hopefully all will be well. Hope everyone else has had a good experience too! Grin

dirtyfries · 12/01/2021 09:37

No A**r for me a this month (previously completed November and December). Fingers crossed for Feb!

Baby89 · 12/01/2021 09:40

Nothing for me, was just after one appen project to get me started but not destined to do this yet by the looks of it.

Buster27 · 12/01/2021 09:42

Finished my purchases, not too bad. Had to skip two as they didn't ship to UK but at least they were both cheap items I'd have had no use for anyway.

So this month getting an expensive Elemis eye cream, MAC eyeshadow palette, Nike jumper, a pair of jeans and a popsocket (one of those circle thingys that stick onto the back of your phone if anybody else doesn't know!).

All legit sites. Will probably return the clothes as they're not to my taste and I don't see anything else I really want from the websites, and thinking I might exchange the beauty products as I like the brands just wouldn't use the items I got. Popsocket will get passed on as no point returning it to the US!

Catatemyhomework · 12/01/2021 10:53

Happy New Year all! Sounds like some good starts in the January thread. I've been a bit slow so far this month and homeschooling three has kind of left me a bit disincentivised. Onwards and upwards. I will put in more effort. I really need some extra cash. On the plus side, I am really pleased to see I have had my appen invoice generated by Ne**h surveys from last week and the other one I can't remember the name of starting with an N. Pleased about it though as lots of talk in chat about non payment for these projects. I will carry on with them now as only 10 minutes a time and quite interesting.

ElectricEels · 12/01/2021 11:22

Done my Purchases. 3 skipped- 1 didn't load, 2 obvious scam sites. So 4 purchases- one a cheap top from China that I expect to be horrid, 2 pieces of Pandora jewellery I'll return and one really nice table for my lounge which is handy as I've been looking for one for ages. I can return it if I don't like it. So made £170-250 depending on if I return the table or not on top of my piece rate. Happy with that for an hours work.

bookgirl1982 · 12/01/2021 11:34

Seven items here too. Five are tat but one chillys bottle which I will use and a clothing one which can return. Much lower spend than last month which will help cash flow!

ElectricEels · 12/01/2021 11:43

Anyone with PayPal credit I suggest you use that for Amur then you aren't ever out of pocket waiting Smile

Buster27 · 12/01/2021 12:39

@ElectricEels nice earner when you put it like that! Mine would be around £200 if I returned them all so maybe I'll just go for that instead of exchanging for things I don't need Grin

Rad2016 · 12/01/2021 13:00

Morning all, I was hoping to pass on A**r this month but seems there are not many items. I have been getting a lot of junk and throwing them away. Hopefully this is a better month.

whysotriggered · 12/01/2021 13:11

I have got 7 items and so far done 5 purchases and reimbursements. So far so good, none of it is junk, three pieces of clothing, a necklace and a jigsaw.
Two to go.

Tinging · 12/01/2021 13:27

Finished my purchases and reimbursements for am* only 7 this time which was a bit disappointing after 14 last time. Mixed bag, Pandora x2 like a pp, cheap clothing, an LED multicolour light, shampoo for thinning hair and the best one was a really nice solid wood nest of tables. Had to skip one when the website wouldn’t accept my address which was a relief as the products looked like garbage.

YonderTweek · 12/01/2021 13:48

Can I ask a quick question about those who have been buying tables/furniture etc? Did the company's name begin with an N? Just pondering...

ElectricEels · 12/01/2021 13:49

@YonderTweek nope- began with a U

anxiouswaiting · 12/01/2021 13:54

People doing reimbursements, can you go back and do them 1 at a time? The last 2 rounds I have always done them in 1 go but wondered if I could make a purchase, do the reimbursement and then go back later to do another?

YonderTweek · 12/01/2021 13:55

@ElectricEels Ahh, good. I had a proper scammy furniture company last month and I thought they were right CFs. Thought more people might be buying from them this time round and they would get rumbled. Grin
