Well I went ahead and bought a tool via Amazon so at least I can return it if the reimbursement is rejected. I also got the chocolate, cable savers, a hair curler, iPhone case (I don't have an iPhone), a dress and a pair of trainers so I'm quite happy overall.

@Gatekeeper are you sure you wouldn't be reimbursed up to the value of $150? I went a few dollars over my $500 spend total in the first round and I just didn't get the excess, but got the full 500.

@TeddyDidIt @YonderTweek that sounds promising! Fingers crossed. My poor dh had a fairly unpleasant op on Thursday and I've been up with him umpteen times during the night since then. My eyes are like currants and my brain like mince

Do people on Am*r use any discount codes? I don’t mean actively seeking them out but often they pop up on a screen banner on a website or get emailed through when you set up an account. I don’t recall seeing anything about them in the guidance.

@Tinging I did last time when the code was on the ad, I put it in the report and the claim went through fine

@Tinging yes I have and as long as you put the right prices in the price on website/price you paid bit it's fine.

@Fiddie, I joined appen at the end of june 2020, I got an email 3rd dec ( just before the december amur starting) saying do quiz for amur which I passed , I thught because it being near launch date I wasnt selected, I then confirmed availability for January yet not chosen. Im not after amur particularly rather im after a long term project from appen.

I don't know if anyone can see the Pol+ock project on Appen but it is a nice project if you like that sort of thing. I have just taken and passed the exam. I did the project last time over a year ago too so I hope it is as nice. Just posting if anyone wants to give it ago that hasn't seen it.

I've not finished yet but so far got cheap charger. £100 silver bracelet. Two football tops £100 altogether, cath kidston bikini and a T-shirt

Most of it will be going back for refunds so I'm happy with that

It isn't advertised on the Appen connect website but last time there was quite a lot of work and you could dip in and out as needed and I can't remember if there was a minimum number of weekly hours. Not very helpful sorry!

My Am@r purchases weren't very nice this time which is different from the last two times.

I tried to apply for Polock got as far as how many hours you want to do a week and got an instant rejection email. Would have liked that one too.
I selected 5-10 hours so assume they want more than that.
Still majorly struggling with Appen just not getting anything. I have 9 applications processing only got the new*h surveys but can't actually access the surveys. And now potato is quiet I'm not earning much at all.

I have like 15 Ap applications going. I did the quiz for P*** too and thought I failed but turns out I passed it. I hope there's some work in it because I have nothing going on atm...

My A##r was quite good even though I didn't get many products and had to skip one because the website would not let me check out. I had two Pandora things too which will be nice to return, chocolate and a really expensive whisky (will not be returned ).

Potato is busy this morning, I did 25 minutes with continuous content but had to stop as kids were getting antsy. Hoping there'll still be plenty going on at lunchtime!

@Azerothi what was bad about your Amxx? I got some okay things, like a paint set and nice pens, some bad things, like a wind up milk carton that says I love cows, and also a nice ring that I'm keeping.

@Tattiespuds, I got the same with project Pol*k. No idea why but as soon as I selected 10 to 20 hours I got an instant rejection with no option to take the test. 🤔

I had two things that could only be downloaded to my phone. So had to skip, another where you had to contact the seller vis FB messenger -they didn't reply so skipped. 2 very tacky trick games, like siders that move suddenly. On the plus side Addidas trainers and a nice top :)
