I had 8 products last night and now I have 14. Madness. I am pleased to see they have updated the guidelines a bit since the last round. So it's ok to submit the receipts as PDFs and there's no mention of blurring anything out. I was trying to find info on the receipt naming convention as it confused me last time, but I guess I'll just use the Job ID again as it worked for me last time.

I really hope I don't have convert any currency because I have no idea how to do it. The people in the chat are always asking about it so it's not just me who's not getting it. Haha.

I take a screenshot as soon as a new product comes up so I capture the job ID. I also copy and paste it into a Word document, along with the product page link, but the screenshot is a good backup in case I forget.

For reimbursement, last time I just attached order confirmation screenshots and didn't rename the files and everything went through fine.

@Baby89 Ahh that's a shame. It's probably because you joined a big later. There's a couple of others in the chat who just joined and missed it. At least you're in now, so just fill in the availability survey for January as soon as they email us about it and you should be invited then.

I have found if I use the arrows and enter/space bar I'm much quicker (on potato) I keep my left hand on space, right middle finger on enter and right index finger on up/down arrow. I also wear headphones with a fast paced playlist on. It took me a while but as someone else said the more you work the quicker you get. I'm starting to come round to the shifts as my speed has increased over the last couple of days, probably because I'm spending more time actually working rather then waiting around for surges 😬

On another topic does anyone know what's going on with B**e/W@&:I on Appen? The only update I have seen has said possibly more sets in December.

Another question - sorry! If I bought it in dollars do I convert that to gbp for the rating questions and reimbursement or just put that it's in dollars?

Maybe I’m a slow reader or something but I don’t get how you can read the content On pot and process it so quickly?

If the Am** product isn't available on the site but sends you off to a reseller then can you skip? I can't see that on the guidelines

@ElectricEels Don't quote me on this but someone on the chat just said that for the rating tool you use the currency you purchased the product in and then when you do the reimbursement form you convert it into your local currency. You have to use their conversion chart but I'm not sure how it works.

I'm still a bit unsure when it comes to catalogues etc. If the advert is of one product I'm guessing I have to buy exactly that, and if the advert has a slider catalogue thing I can choose whatever I want from those? And if the advert takes me to a catalogue on a website I can just browse and buy what I want? This is how I understood it but there is a "veteran" in the chat saying you can browse whatever as long as the product is in the same category. Although she did say that the rules may have changed so she's not sure either. Haha.

I think it's just taken me over an hour to do my first purchase! All for a hoodie that will probably only be used for gardening, but never mind, I'm sure I'll get quicker. Will wait for teenage DS2 to get home this afternoon now so he can choose a crap item from Wish.

@YonderTweek Yes, my understanding is the same as yours, you choose either: 1) single item on the page; 2) item from the carousel; 3) if the end image of the carousel gives a link to the shop site, you can click on this and choose something from the whole site.

Well, I haven't received an email, so you can ignore my questions (which it looks like you were doing anyway ).. A bit annoyed I've spent hours reading guidelines, watching videos and doing loads of my own research on forums for nothing. On the bright side, I won't now have to risk having to store something ridiculous like a trampoline or mattress in a tiny flat over Christmas, I suppose. Or just gaining a load of cheap and useless tat like some of you.

If the item is sold out or too expensive I buy another thing from the shop.

@luckycat872 That was me last month! I got really stressed over it all then didn't get the email. I think the extra month of reading everyone else's comments on here has been useful though, and helped to calm me down, so do follow along this month. Hopefully ? you'll get on for January, so you can join the 'fun'. Honestly I was in two minds whether to sign up for this month, with me being so busy and not really looking forward to the extra hassle and parcels in the run-up to Christmas.
