Anyone on t*ris appen received an email that they are getting removed from the job?
Not sure if the project has finished or my work was of low standard. My audit report did come back really good so I'm a bit confused.

Azerothi · 28/07/2020 08:02

@Peabrainer

Everyone gets warnings when starting out. Don't worry. I've been working there well over a year and got my first one for a year last week. We're only human. Make sure you email them when you have put 'unsure', they're pretty helpful with feedback.

Starlight2004 · 28/07/2020 08:37

SNISR how long have you been on the project? Could it have been a year?

Radders23 · 28/07/2020 09:17

I find 20 Cogs a bit misleading. I'm currently up to £100 on there and have a few cogs left and that's taken me a while. Also I had to spend money for some of them. E.g spend £10 to make £15 so it's not really all profit! Also a lot of pet deals to pay for and I dont even have a pet so would have to pay for products I dont even want!

Had loads of fun on Neevo as a customer on the calls making my way through character names from Brooklyn 99!

BecauseOfIndia · 28/07/2020 10:09

@Peabrainer I had a similar experience to begin with and I simply couldn't understand how I was marking things so wrong, was certain I was going to get kicked off as a couple of them were considered serious. I've been with them now for 6 months and (touch wood) all has been fine. It's a learning curve and if you go slowly to begin you will get there. I'm now earning a good hourly rate and really enjoy it!

Baby89 · 28/07/2020 10:12

@Peabrainer, can I ask how long after did you join spuds thanks

SNISR · 28/07/2020 10:17

@Starlight2004 one month 😅

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 28/07/2020 10:24

Did anyone do Al*- C? I did it yesterday and they've added it to my invoice but removed it from my project list. I was hoping there wouod me more work. I don't think i did a bad job either!

WonderTweek · 28/07/2020 10:42

Ah yay, I gave Intellizoom a nudge and I have now passed my practice study. I'm delighted because I really like their studies. Grin I think I'm about to finally get some project work coming my way as well, so I'm looking forward to that and hoping it all works out. 🤞

On a side note, I've been validating calls/transcripts on Neevo and there's this one woman who has the most pleasant telephone voice. I could listen to it for days. Grin

ohmygiddiest · 28/07/2020 11:35

@Radders23 I spent around £25 to complete my cogs and withdrew £150 so not a bad deal! I did not do any pet ones. You could always gift what you don't use.

Peabrainer · 28/07/2020 11:41

@Azerothi @BecauseOfIndia thank you so much, that has made me feel so much better! Can I ask whether you have been invited to do any of the scheduled slots yet? If so when does that happen?
@Baby89 do you mean how long since I took the test? It was 7 months.

Azerothi · 28/07/2020 11:58

@Peabrainer

They aren't taking on for the scheduled slots at the moment, I did ask recently, although I'm not massively bothered. You do have to be there for more than 3 months to be considered.

whysotriggered · 28/07/2020 12:07

@Radders23 I love Brooklyn 99

lynsey91 · 28/07/2020 12:11

I have been working on Potato for a month now and so far (touch wood) have not heard anything from them.

What are you being told you are marking wrongly? Is it missing things? If anything I thought I would be told I was marking too many items as having a risk as I am very cautious

seizethecuttlefish · 28/07/2020 13:07

@Peabrainer I've been doing Potato for 8 months. I went through getting a flurry of messages and an email warning, that stays on your file for 6 months. It really shook my confidence. I had asked about shifts a couple of weeks before so I wondered if it was related HmmI can't do it while watching anything and have to completely concentrate. Even the kids asking a question is enough to throw me! I would love shifts as the times I'm on are quite often really quiet and the queues low so I can't earn much. On the plus side, they are quick payers and I don't have to worry about the dollar rate!

Honeymonstershoulders · 28/07/2020 13:54

Hi there Money Matters Mumsnet! I’m a long time lurker but I’ve finally bitten the bullet & joined. I’m hoping to start earning £10 a day and I’m signing up to some of the companies at the beginning of this thread. I have a quick question - If I get paid for anything, can I use my personal PayPal account that I use for eBay, or do I need to set up a new business PayPal account? Thanks

ZetaPuppis · 28/07/2020 14:10

@WonderTweek I wonder if lovely voice was someone from here? Would be fun to know Smile

I’ve been with potato for 6 months and I’ve had one email so far. I do unsure a few here and there if I’m not confidant. Rather that then get things wrong.
I’m similar with the times as @seizethecuttlefish but I’m happy to do a few hours here and there and get some cash.

I’ve started to do some map analyst work. I also have confidence crisis on there! I’m quite slow as don’t want to make mistakes. Fingers crossed that it works out

GachaBread · 28/07/2020 14:14

@Honeymonstershoulders you can add seven email addresses to your paypal.
I do not think you can have two PayPal accounts.

GachaBread · 28/07/2020 14:15

@Honeymonstershoulders and just your everyday PayPal will do, you do not need a business one

seizethecuttlefish · 28/07/2020 14:27

@Honeymonstershoulders I just use my email. I just record it for tax.

seizethecuttlefish · 28/07/2020 14:27

@Honeymonstershoulders should say PayPal. It's been one of those days.

WonderTweek · 28/07/2020 14:36

@ZetaPuppis I like to think all the pleasant voices are Mumsnetters. Everyone in these threads has been really lovely so it makes sense. Grin

Baby89 · 28/07/2020 14:40

Got paid for some neevo calls today - used different names but i do wonder who had the lovely voiceGrin

Honeymonstershoulders · 28/07/2020 14:48

@GachaBread and @seizethecuttlefish that’s great. Thank you for your help.

Pepper70 · 28/07/2020 15:43

I joined mumsnet recently, main for the feminist chat. But came across this, some good sums of money some of you seem to be earning ! I realise I will need to click on the links, but generally how is this working? is it something you do from home, is it time consuming?
