I don't post on it very often but the instagram account I record this £10 a day stuff on is here: www.instagram.com/side_hustle_huzzah/

Catatemyhomework · 01/07/2020 16:45

I think I really need an overhaul. I was doing so well up until April and then with Covid and kids at home and a poorly father I totally lost all motivation. May and June were dreadful. I want to go back to the giddy heights of March when I managed £800. I have had a look at all my trusted previous sources and haven't had much from Utest or Intellizoom this last couple of months. Hoping for more appen work soon. Neevo don't seem to be the same as they used to be either. Just wondered if others on here have found the last couple of months slower than usual or if it's just me!

ruralwanderer · 01/07/2020 17:08

Thanks @Mrssnow82 for the new thread. I'm pleased with my earnings for June. I record hours spent with each company, what that equates to in terms of earnings and then what I actually receive (as some stuff I get paid for is for the previous month's work) so for June I have:

Company Time Spent Earnings Due Earnings Received
Appen 8 hours 32 minutes £138.03 £128.65
Clickworker 3 hours 48 minutes £33.76 £0
Intellizoom 1 hour 5 minutes £40.00 £66.71
Neevo 0 £0.00 £58.76

TOTALS £211.74 £264.38

With regards the exchange rate, I only transfer from Paypal/Payoneer into my bank account once a month so record the amount received on that date in £.

I've quit Neevo now as it took so long to extract that £50 from them and I'm still short £30 which I've decided to write off as the hassle just isn't worth it. I just shan't work for them again and shan't recommend anyone else do either.

lilmishap · 01/07/2020 17:12

Damn I'm doing Cr##p wrong! ATM I can only do ten minutes at a time because so much of the content is so awful.

AdaShelby · 01/07/2020 19:17

If you were doing it wrong they would let you know.

WildSkitty · 01/07/2020 19:56

Placemarking :)

Rad2016 · 02/07/2020 01:19

Thanks for the new thread guys. I made over £300 in June with £50 from grapevine and then most of it from Appen. Looking forward to a good July. With kids at home and hubby working from home, makes things a bit tough.

MrsWombat · 02/07/2020 06:51

Potatoland is dead at the moment.

Wolfff · 02/07/2020 06:56

Just doing an hour on my Appen project before work. So boring.

seizethecuttlefish · 02/07/2020 09:14

@MrsWombat this is my big worry about potato. I'm not sure how I would make decent money on it. Before lockdown I was finding it was deadly too. No chance of shifts here so I think I'm going to struggle to make a decent hourly rate. Hoping it's just because they've mass recruited again. Sad

margaritasbythesea · 02/07/2020 09:34

Thanks for the new thread.

I hope your DS is feeling better Otterses.

curdsandwhey · 02/07/2020 09:58

I only joined User Testing a few weeks ago, and I've just got my first customer review rating. They've given me five stars and said thanks for being so helpful!

MrsWombat · 02/07/2020 10:42

@seizethecuttlefish Hopefully that's it and it will pick up a bit. My favourite queue was empty at 5am today which really surprised me.

I'm waiting for 3-4 Appen projects to start as well but they've been on off for months so I won't hold my breath!

Junenamechange · 02/07/2020 11:53

Morning all. July arrived faster than I thought - I just looked for the June thread!

I fell off the treadmill in June but am inspired to leap back on again. I work part time but the other half of the week I am usually a potato person - but I have got so bored with it lately!

YetAnotherRainyDay · 02/07/2020 12:47

Buster27 · 02/07/2020 13:23

Ti*** now added to June's appen invoice. I'd actually forgotten about it so that's a nice bonus!

TheLolaMontez · 02/07/2020 17:08

Hi everyone 👋🏻

How do you find out potato earnings? Is it on a dashboard somewhere? I don't know where I'm meant to be looking for it

justtheonethen · 02/07/2020 17:13

@TheLolaMontez this months are on the dashboard. Previous months get sent to you as a statement. So anything you did in June will be sent out on tenth business day. Dashboard will show July earnings.

TheLolaMontez · 02/07/2020 17:16

@justtheonethen where is the dashboard? Is it on the same page as where you do the work?

justtheonethen · 02/07/2020 17:35

No you should have got a separate log in.

Northernsoullover · 02/07/2020 17:38

I need to be on this thread. I'm desperate for some extra cash. I'm going to catch up once I've been for a run and probably bombard you all with a million questions.

Baby89 · 02/07/2020 22:26

Hello everyone, I’m new to all this, thank you so much for sharing your posts. A quick question I’ve joined Appen- one assignment asks for me to complete screening training which I click but it shows an error , I’ve emailed them about this so awaiting reply . Are the Appen projects given straight away as I’ve clicked on the ones that appeal to me and only been asked to do one screening test which doesn’t work. Also profilic- is this a first come first serve questionnaires. I’m also joined only neevo no jobs yet - is there a long wait , isosoft- no jobs yet , clickerworker - I didn’t know how to do my assignment as thought I could dip in out of it but now they both disappeared plus only €0.02 per question as it was 120 min long. If anyone can pm me as I am quite confused and again thank you for posting.

Wolfff · 03/07/2020 05:17

Appen - it depends. Once you have done the initial project, some wait months, others like me get one straight away.

Prolific- yes, you have to be quick.

Neevo - there is not continuous work. You should be offered something soon. However a lot of people here have issues with neevo.

Clickworker - the task you mention pays 2p for each item but you do multiple ones, so it adds up obviously. You normally have to start a task within 180 minutes or it disappears.
Again CW is hit and miss. The best jobs are snapped up quickly. If you stick around you will be invited to test for UHRS which has more tasks (but also some are low paid and not continuous).

tootyfruitypickle · 03/07/2020 06:18

Great start to the day , email from At* saying I passed and work starts nxt week.

I’ve not earnt much this year but I might need to start up a spreadsheet if this project is good and can get me over the 1k mark so that I have to do a tax return! All your totals are very encouraging.

Baby89 · 03/07/2020 08:17

Thanks Wolff, I hope to get at least one Appen project soon
