@Baby89 I signed up to do those about two months ago and still heard not a peep.

Wolfff · 04/07/2020 15:40

Isoftstone is Teemwork Ai. I think it's a Chinese company. I had a couple of jobs last year that were well paid compared to the likes of Neevo etc but nothing since.

WonderTweek · 04/07/2020 18:37

@Wolfff Thanks! That's what I thought but I wasn't sure. I've signed up now. Let's see what happens!

www.employedandselfemployed.co.uk/tax-calculator This calculator is good for estimating what tax and NI you'll need to pay.

There is a fab thread on CVs going on at the moment here:

This bit someone has written is relevant to us:

RE: jobs while you were a SAHP, I would just put:

From 2014-17 I largely took a career break to raise my children. However, I did undertake some part time/voluntary work during this period, as detailed below:
date, role
date, role
and so on.

What's "potato"?

MrsWombat · 06/07/2020 06:13

@Horehound Crisp

shazza292022 · 06/07/2020 07:23

Hi I'm new here but just wanted to say it's so motivating to see your June earnings! I'm quite keen to start appen as it looks to be a good earner! Registering as we speak so quite excited to see how I get on :) also 2 other sites I use that I feel are quite good is gift hunter club and qmee, I've made a few bib doing surveys on those sites :) good luck ladies!

shazza292022 · 06/07/2020 07:37

Hi when signing up to crisp thinking do you have to sign up as a contractor and go on a waiting list? Hmm

Horehound · 06/07/2020 08:06

Ah I see, thanks. I did the test and got 17 out if 20. They said it's 19 to pass...

MrsWombat · 06/07/2020 08:10

@shazza292022 You take a small test on their website to go on their waiting list. Once you've reached the top of the waiting list (6 months-1 year maybe?) you'll do a longer exam and then you become a contractor.

MrsWombat · 06/07/2020 08:10

@Horehound Keep trying. Some questions have more than one answer.

Patbutcherismyhero · 06/07/2020 08:18

Hi does anyone know of any reputable content mills for freelance copywriting? There are so many out there it's hard to know which ones are worth bothering with. Thanks

What are they saying @GachaBread?

GachaBread · 06/07/2020 09:30

Sorry wrong thread! I have asked for that post to be removed.

Horehound · 06/07/2020 09:42

Ugh I am getting fed up now!
I registered for intellizoom last night but didn't get an email to verify my account. Now I can't sign in and can't re-register.

I signed up for clickworker and again, not had an email from them and basically as above.
I have only one email address which I used all the time and is saved to autofill so I know I've entered it correctly. Seems strange it's happened on both sites.

@MrsWombat oh so can I just keep trying?! They said they receive thousands of applications.
I did choose multiple answers for some. I thought there were a couple which didn't apply, like maybe just someone's opinion on something (not offensive or libellous) but I couldn't get past a question without clicking something so assumed they just all have a "risk"

RyanBergarasTeeth · 06/07/2020 11:24

@Horehoundhave they gone into your junk folder in email? Thats where mine always end up.

Horehound · 06/07/2020 11:29

Hi @RyanBergarasTeeth u have checked junk bit nothing there.
I just got the link from clickworker now so have verified my account now.
Nothing from intellizoom but I have emailed them now so hopefully get going soon.

Tinging · 06/07/2020 12:18

@Horehound I was in contact with intellizoom last week about a different issue but they said they are really busy at the moment so some things are taking longer than normal.

Baby89 · 06/07/2020 14:09

Anyone know when it picks up , I’ve joined intelizoom had a €2 survey but it could not load on the laptop, also did practice test for them but not had feedback ( had my practice test gate crashed by 1 year old , who was asleep before I started the testBlush) also Appen I’ve applied to all that apply to me , two had broken links to go further I’ve emailed them yet no reply, - Neevo - nothing and no news from crisp although I expect not to hear from them soon as waiting list. Anyone else that recently started- do you have idea when it gets better or when I get jobs. Thank you in advance for answering my question Smile

dirtyfries · 06/07/2020 16:27

Hi @Baby89

Intellizoom I think it took me about 2 weeks to hear back from them after my practice test and start receiving email invites.

Appen is a waiting game, I signed up about 6 months ago and have only been accepted for one project (b*) which is sporadic

Ref neevo, keep signing in to remind them you exist. You'll should get email invites when they load new jobs

I started taking this seriously in April and it's taken a few months for everything to click into place. I'd recommend signing up to everything you can and then see what takes off

curdsandwhey · 06/07/2020 18:20

It's worth emailing Intellizoom to let them you know have lots of free time at the moment, so could they have a look and see if your test has been approved. I did this, and they got back to me within a couple of days.

Also, if you haven't already, I recommend signing up for User Testing which also does similar stuff. It pays slightly more than Intellizoom, too. $10 instead of $8.

RyanBergarasTeeth · 06/07/2020 19:34

Has anyone done taskrabbit or copify?
