Finding things a bit slow over these past few days, although had a great survey Prolific for £7! Started officially with usertesting today too, but keep being bloody screened out of every single one

seizethecuttlefish · 25/07/2020 16:51

Thanks @GachaBread m, signed up and fingers crossed.

Just did some more voice recordings for A. That was an unexpected bonus.

GachaBread · 25/07/2020 17:04

@seizethecuttlefish no problem! I did a job with them back in the day before I joined this thread. I had to do a 3 minute video of what I thought about air fresheners in Wilkos and got £30 for it. They are very prompt with payment too. Fingers crossed for you that you get it and to anyone else here too.

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 25/07/2020 19:16

Is anyone interested in Appino? You earn point towards Amazon gift cards by answering quick polls. It take quite a while but good to do if you have a few minute spare.

If you use my referral code we both get points I think.
You should check out Appinio, really smart app. Invite code is 13bc85. appinio.page.link/join

WildSkitty · 25/07/2020 22:03

@SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock have you had a payout from Appino yet? I did it for a while and then forgot about it but never seemed to get anywhere?

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 26/07/2020 10:58

Some of these 'small' sideline earners (such as YouGov) tick over at such a slow rate though that you'd be lucky to make £50 in a year. Although it's better than nothing, I find the number of surveys it takes to reach the minimum payout is really not worth it. I used to get quite a few YouGov ones (and probably netted £100 a year from them) but recently there's only been a survey once every couple of weeks.

mrssnow82 · 26/07/2020 13:34

I tried Appino too, took forever to get to £5 and then gave up. There are loads of polls asking if others have ever had a payout too which made me suspicious too.

If you go on google play or apple equivalent, and type in something like earn money online, LOADS of this sort of company come up. But the vast majority pay peanuts for a lot of time investment.

@Carrotgirl87

Ok I'm going to sound like a complete newbie here but I need some help 😂

Joined Appen, get to the job board, click on the (only available) task which is a welcome type task, it takes me back to login screen and tells me my password is wrong 🤯

I've reset password twice and it just happens again each time I try and open the first job!

Can anyone shed any light on this?
Thanks! X

@Carrotgirl87, what was the answer to this please, I'm having the same issue.
Carrotgirl87 · 26/07/2020 14:42

@pagansophie it's two separate accounts so you need to 'sign up' again.

Iv been on there and checking all the time for almost a week though and there are literally no jobs listed. Seems a waste of time so far. X

pagansophie · 26/07/2020 14:50

Oh. Thank you @carrotgirl87. That's disappointing. The figuring out how to sign up for these things must be a first pass at filtering out people with no persistence, I think Smile

Carrotgirl87 · 26/07/2020 14:54

@pagansophie I thought the same thing Grin

It's at the top of my picture... it's the contributor login page I believe. It had one welcome to appen 'job' last week and nothing else.. a quick google told me to persist with it and once you have managed to do enough to level up which takes a while it gets easier and there are more opportunities, but Iv never seen a single job posted!

Carrotgirl87 · 26/07/2020 15:42

Cross posted but that's fabulous thank you!! X

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 26/07/2020 15:57

I'm on £7.76 with Appino now. I only do it occasionally though. Have had quite a few paying surveys in the last week.

Carrotgirl87 · 26/07/2020 16:42

@Gatekeeper got it, signed up, that's brilliant! Grin

Horehound · 26/07/2020 17:47

Hi, can people on Neevo tell me if they've been paid for NBDDCF3BU0M please? And if so, when?

StudentHelp · 26/07/2020 19:41

@Horehound

I haven’t yet! Smile still waiting for all the calls to be paid

Horehound · 26/07/2020 19:46

Thanks @StudentHelp I was just worried as that's the one they threw me off after 14 calls I think because I missed to Callas from them. Obviously that agent didn't log a missed call as I did.
I just sent in my spreadsheet for my calls over the past week. Only managed four hours if agent work unfortunately

StudentHelp · 26/07/2020 19:50

@Horehound

I find working as an agent really hard work compared to the customer, especially now they’ve upped the pay per call and amount customers can do!

But that job is now closed so we should be paid within two weeks, hopefully it’s soon though Grin
