MLM Bot Watch 60: It takes a village to sink an island.

Continued chat exposing things such as the lies peddled and the bankruptcies hidden from view.

For those interested, the Lifetime channel is airing a documentary series called Cults & Extreme Belief. I have seen two episodes so far (FLDS, aired yesterday, and Twelve Tribes, aired last week). This coming Sunday is the first part of The Survivors Speak. So far it has been very interesting to see the similarities to MLM brainwashing. The way that active FLDS members still view Warren Jeffs as a prophet rather than a paedophile is remarkably similar to how Young Living customers view their late leader Gary Young.

In other news: I'm thinking about starting a tinfoil MLM as there seems to be a rather strong market amongst huns.

Maybe homeschool could get in touch with sacked, now she's promoting some cod legal stuff. It would be crossing the streams.

Norma27 · 15/05/2020 08:50

Can you imagine homeschool going to the police.

' I want to make a complaint I am being bullied. Someone put on my Facebook that I am bankrupt and should tell people I am trying to con into joining another pyramid scheme'.

'Ok. Are you bankrupt?'

'Well yes I am. But I still want people to join my team so I don't want to tell them, even though it is a legal obligation of mine'.

'Bye!'

Spongebobette · 15/05/2020 08:51

Sacked has such classy business stationery; she cannot fail to impress with that professional look

CompleteBarstool · 15/05/2020 09:21

That looks like one of those cards you find in phone boxes!

Well classy

BSintolerant · 15/05/2020 09:37

@CompleteBarstool Grin

The oldest profession is far more honest than MLMs.

Duvetday8 · 15/05/2020 10:08

The thing I found odd about her live was I thought she would say people reported her but she had already told them so it was irelevant but she didn't, she said she now has to provide evidence to show what she is doing....all very odd

FranceTeam · 15/05/2020 10:19

I’m not a lawyer, but I wonder if signing someone up to a MLM as your down line would be considered doing business in a legal sense. When they sign up, do they pay the £200 to the up line or direct to the MLM company? If not to the up line, then you could maybe argue there is no business transaction.

BSintolerant · 15/05/2020 11:56

Interesting point @FranceTeam. The sign-up money which someone pays to join the MLM goes straight to the company. The company then pays a percentage of the sign-up money to the recruiter.

Whether this is a business transaction, or money paid in the course of employment is neither here nor there - someone’s making money which needs to be declared.

If you’re a network marketer you’re meant to register as self-employed with HMRC or set up a limited company. If you’re bankrupt you can’t be a director of a limited company, so the only option is to register as self-employed. The question is, why would a bankrupt bot tell their trustee or the Insolvency Service that they’re unemployed?

fromdownwest · 15/05/2020 12:30

An interesting point on income.

When the bill arrives for this post covide bail out, HMRC will be given all the powers they need.

Those who have not disclosed income should watch out. I know first hand that ebay sellers have come under scrutiny, as have landlords not declaring their income.

So, those bots, if you are reading this, those paypal links, are being monitored. Even if they are not making a profit, the fines will be bigger than their income for non disclosure of income.

Norma27 · 15/05/2020 12:36

I used to work with a lot of ex tax inspectors. This was before ebay etc, but they used to tell me how they found people out. I remember driving past a house which had a poster in the window for making cushions I think. The person I was with at the time said as an inspector he would have looked that person up to see if they were registered
HMRC definitely check Facebook, eBay etc.

fromdownwest · 15/05/2020 12:48

They have the same software that counter terrorist police use. They can scan bank statements digitally and if they see 'rent' or even '£490' showing up each month, then it raises a flag. This is then passed onto an investigator.

They are constantly running these scans, and the amount of backdoor landlords that I know that have been caught is significant.

One can not expect to portray the lifestyle of a millionaire and not expect someone to be looking at your income. Once again the arrogance of these MLM's not realising they are very very small fish in a very very big pond

YouokHun · 15/05/2020 13:31

Perhaps the MLM is paying Mr H as a sole trader and Homeschool is merely a volunteer!

Teddy1970 · 15/05/2020 15:34

Mr Home school really thinks he's something doesn't he? He sets off my red flag detector in a big way.

Spongebobette · 15/05/2020 16:35

Prize git

Duvetday8 · 16/05/2020 13:09

Bbl has done a photoshoot for the new 'clothes' in her shop with two other girls. Absolutely no regard for social distancing whatsoever. Given as she is 'modelling' the clothes (making a face looking like she just stood in dog poo) there is no need for the other girls to be there at all

YouokHun · 16/05/2020 13:30

Could I have a clue for Bbl please?

CompleteBarstool · 16/05/2020 13:38

A couple of weeks ago someone pulled BBL up on the fact that she was backwards and forwards between her place and her mum's and brother's places(s) .

Needless to say some of her fans defended her to the hilt and then the negative comments disappeared.

TwinsetAndPearlss · 16/05/2020 13:53

BBL has recently changed her name.

She rhymes with sassy and then the name of the queen's daughter. Then think superman in real life for the last name.

Jigsawpuzzle · 16/05/2020 15:57

Found BBL.Speechless.
Somehow ended up on a site called Tattle Life. Rather scathing on her mothering and housework skills.

MrsSnitchnose · 16/05/2020 16:49

Have recently discovered these threads. Just working my way through from the beginning and I can tell it's going to take me ages to read them all. I can finally jooin in with you guys now though. During lockdown, I have aquired myself a Tropic and a Federico Mahora bot!

SSDGM · 16/05/2020 17:11

Oooh, I’m LIVING for those tattle life threads 😂

CompleteBarstool · 16/05/2020 17:17

Are any other bots discussed on there other than BBL?

fitgirl26 · 16/05/2020 17:32

I've lost many hours of my life to Tattle this week. Off to find BBL on there 😂

fitgirl26 · 16/05/2020 17:33

Found her. 6 threads already. There goes my Saturday evening!

CompleteBarstool · 16/05/2020 17:42

OMG I've just read a few pages of one of the BBL threads Shock

Those posters on there don't hold back. They make us look like her most loyal fans!!
