For those interested, the Lifetime channel is airing a documentary series called Cults & Extreme Belief. I have seen two episodes so far (FLDS, aired yesterday, and Twelve Tribes, aired last week). This coming Sunday is the first part of The Survivors Speak. So far it has been very interesting to see the similarities to MLM brainwashing. The way that active FLDS members still view Warren Jeffs as a prophet rather than a paedophile is remarkably similar to how Young Living customers view their late leader Gary Young.

In other news: I'm thinking about starting a tinfoil MLM as there seems to be a rather strong market amongst huns.

After lockdown there will will be a national shortage of these as the bots will be snapping them up to show off the results of their C9s

There’s a post on the MLM Facebook page that you can now report false MLM jobs under the jobs tab, under MLM and also that it’s not a real job. It doesn’t solve the ‘pm me for me details’ type of adverts but is good to see this being recognised as a problem.

If that is the case then any social media profile used for promoting Network Marketing should be fair game as well.

That would kill the industry stone dead.

I fell down the FB job reporting rabbit hole yesterday as did many others (and very satisfying it was too). Let’s hope it flags up in some way with the FB analysts (or whatever they are) and leads to a more appropriate set of choices for reporting what FB says is a violation of its policies on the personal pages.

Yes, imagine 9dart what FB bans for MLM posts would do to the industry and the sales of step ladders!

I’d love to create an MLM perfume called Eau d’Ordure - The Runcorn-Widnes Edit. This fragrance evokes the stench of glue factories, oil refineries and sewage treatment plants. Picture a scam of wobbly bots posing in the shadow of a rickety stepladder - their hair and eyebrows wafting in the breeze passing over the River Mersey, carrying with it the stench of industrial strength lies, the sillage of which is pungent beyond measure. A flock of pigeons soars above them in the polluted skies, shedding their feathers and decorating the ladder with every silent wing beat.

Top notes: glue, nettles, and dried bone. Middle notes: dead rats, stagnant canals and cannabis harvested from a local roundabout. Base notes: live, laugh, love and vomit in an alleyway on the edge of an industrial estate.

Do you think it’s got legs?

Nurse has "popped on" to tell her VIP Diamonique group that they can win the C9 (that she bought to get her promotion) by commenting as much as possible on her shopping event. That's going to go well then.

Is that a desperate attempt to get engagement on her page?

That's the third time she's tried to give that thing away!

Tonight’s Live from Homeschool has got it all; health claims for the product, income lies, some anti FLP stuff and news that she is her MLM’s top recruiter. Mr H very quick to correct himself and say it’s not his business. Mr H also very keen to put a positive spin on anti MLM commenters to say what a favour we’ve done them as so many people have come forward to say how “brave” she is. He says he agrees with us as they don’t want people to suffer in MLM either, and they won’t because this MLM is different! He’s really controlling the conversation and shuts her down when she almost names the company.

By the way, the people commenting on the Live also make an appearance in my “therapy/coaching” group; they pop on as if they’re current clients, to say how helpful they’re finding Mr H’s interventions and how they have better self esteem and won’t hold themselves back anymore and will take opportunities ...

What’s happened to The Village and The Island? Not seen mentioned for a while? Maybe the inhabitants killed each other in a bloody battle to the end.

I’d pay good money to see that. My seat’s at the top of the stepladder - I’ve always wanted to be an umpire.

The Village is deserted as the MLMers had to return to their secret jobs in the city. There was an announcement about the island but I can’t remember what it said.
