Marking my place to pop back later and try and make sense of this

MynameisJune · 19/02/2020 06:41

Been feeling really disheartened with all this lately, C-risp hasn’t been working properly for me, LB can’t make the tool work on my phone so that’s a non starter too. Going to go through the list and see what else I can sign up to.

Wolfff · 19/02/2020 06:56

@madre and @mrswombat

I'm on that 30 Tr** project. They moved me after the first week. You do speed up in the end. I only have a couple of months left on it now, as you can do a max of a year.

Madre77 · 19/02/2020 07:28

@Wolfff good to know. Thanks

rhij86 · 19/02/2020 07:45

Had an invite to do the test for T*rs on appen this morning. Saw 3 lots of guidelines... fuck my life! Only 11 pages in total 😅

Will be doing the test once I get to work and fire up my laptop 🤞

Lougle · 19/02/2020 08:32

@MynameisJune if you are at all technically minded I really would give UTest a go. I have earned 75% of my earnings from the last two weeks in the last 3 days and have many more issues waiting to be assessed. Once you get your skills up there could be some really good money in it and it's fun (if you're a geek who likes to point out errors Grin)

rhij86 · 19/02/2020 08:52

woohoo, passed T**s!
Only 1 hour a day but (assuming there's actually work available Confused ) that's an easy £300 a month! fingers crossed

MynameisJune · 19/02/2020 09:06

@Lougle when DD goes for a nap I’m going to look at Utest and give it a go.

fanniee · 19/02/2020 10:16

Lougle do you have a link for Utest? Thank you

makingmiracles · 19/02/2020 11:03

It terms of the trading 212 how can you deposit £1 because the only option I can see is a minimum of £10 ?

rhij86 · 19/02/2020 11:17

@makingmiracles it just asked me to link a card then deposit an amount - I just typed in £1 and it accepted it.

Lougle · 19/02/2020 11:20

Lazydaisydaydream · 19/02/2020 11:25

Sorry, I started reading these threads at the beginning of the year but they move so fast I can't keep up so having to accept defeat and just miss out hundreds of messages. Therefore very sorry if I ask something already covered!!

I've registered as self employed, and applied for appen and cloudworkers. Appen has been about three weeks and nothing further, just still saying its in progress. Any idea how long it normally takes to get accepted onto a project?

And similar for cloudworkers, applied about two weeks ago and haven't heard anything. Is that normal?

Mileymileymoomoo · 19/02/2020 11:28

@makingmiracles I had that the first time I tried to register. I had picked the wrong option at the start. Did you pick trading 212 CFD? It’s just trading212 invest you need

rhij86 · 19/02/2020 11:37

@Lazydaisydaydream hi!

With regards to Appen, it can sometimes be weeks or even months before you get accepted to a project. My advice would be to keep checking back regularly and apply for all that you can, one of them will come through eventually!

Cloudworkers - I'm not sure as don't work for them. Someone will be along soon that can answer I'm sure, but have you checked your spam folder just incase?

girlicorne · 19/02/2020 11:37

@rhij86 I m on T**s and have been since September there is always work and it’s an easy if tedious £10 a day.

Lazydaisydaydream · 19/02/2020 11:39

@rhij86 thanks! Yes cloudworkers original email came through to junk so have been checking there as well. Just want to get started on something Grin

rhij86 · 19/02/2020 11:45

@lazydaisydaydream - there's probably no harm in sending them a quick email saying you're still hoping to follow up with them but haven't heard anything?

@girlicorne brilliant news (aside from the tedious part, although for an hour a day I don't mind too much). Hopefully it doesn't take too long for access to the tool to come through.

Mileymileymoomoo · 19/02/2020 11:52

Is any doing 20cogs? I am on cog 6 and have earned £34.50. I’ve signed up to 3 trial subscriptions and have the trial end date in my phone as a reminder to cancel but worried that they will still take a payment out if I cancel too late. Some of them say you can only cancel on the last day of the trial to get your reward.

Mileymileymoomoo · 19/02/2020 12:02

Here is a referral link for 20 cogs

MoreMoneyPlease · 19/02/2020 12:36

Passed my entry test for Test Birds so $5 made and can apply for other tests now. Feeling ready to attempt u-test again, I just find the site so confusing!

With people doing T**ee, do you always manage to stretch it out for an hour? Do you type really slowly or have breaks in-between each one??

Februarycat · 19/02/2020 12:53

@Lazydaisydaydream I was about a week hearing back from Cloudworkers after sending in all my details and then waited around 2 weeks for the training

MrsWombat · 19/02/2020 13:54

Woohoo I've moved from unrated to rated on uTest and had a bug approved.

I failed a transcription test on Appen, but got given a second chance on another batch.

Still hate Tr**ee Opps. Sad

Catatemyhomework · 19/02/2020 14:16

If anyone's interested in joining Fottball Index, here's my referral link:
trade.footballindex.co.uk/raf/?tag=564285
Sign up using this link and code and we both get £10.
I have done well so far from them. I deposited £10 initially and got £10 back from the referral link I used. Then I had another offer, to deposit a further £20 and buy shares in players to the value of £30. I did this last week and now I have over £30 in players shares as they have gone up in value and they have given me another £20 for initially buying £30 worth of shares. It is quite fun to do too. I know nothing about football, but I can sell the shares anytime and I still have the same money I started with, so will be at least £30 up!
