That should cover most of what was discussed in the last thread! I'm just realising I've forgotten transcription sites so I'll add those on now.

As always, referral links are always more than welcome Smile

@Sallycinnamum

DO NILE!

Honestly, it can be done in an hour a day, requires no real effort in terms of thought, and is around £10.61 an hour. I was on it for around 18 months.

OP posts:
otterses · 06/02/2020 08:15

Don't quote me on this... but I used to do it in about 30 minutes and still get paid for a full hour. I'm sure it's still the same.

OP posts:
Sallycinnamum · 06/02/2020 08:23

Thanks @otterses.

I can really only commit to an hour a day anyway, maybe a few more at the weekend so my gut is telling me to take the appen project and pause Lionbridge for the time being.

GachaBread · 06/02/2020 08:24

@spacepoppers Bon a pet treat jobs and some flower power supermarket jobs have dropped, these are both super easy in and out within a few minutes.

rhij86 · 06/02/2020 08:29

@Sallycinnamum good luck in whichever you decide to choose! You could always do the test for Nile first as that won't take nearly as long as the LB one and then make your mind up?
Fingers crossed for you :)

Today is LB 'results day' for me... fingers crossed. I do sort of wish something would happen on appen again for me though /sigh

toastytea · 06/02/2020 08:31

I never really got into clickworker... is UHRS something you get access to after being on clickworker a while?! And what is the pay rate like?

ZetaPuppis · 06/02/2020 08:37

@rhij86 good luck! Which exam did you do?

Good luck @Sallycinnamum too.

DontCallMeDarling · 06/02/2020 08:38

@Sallycinnamum agree with @otterses especially as some of the other projects have strict minimum hour requirements.

Good luck

DuchessMinnie · 06/02/2020 08:38

Appen is really frustrating. I am "registered" for 5 projects including Nile and it says there is nothing for me to do. So if they want me for a project they will send an email inviting me to qualify, is that right?

Nothing on BME, prolific is averaging £5 a week but nothing yesterday. Even Qmee is slow and that's normally a good pin money earner for me.

I'm going to give Topcashback bingo cash backs a try.

spacepoppers · 06/02/2020 08:38

Ooops @GachaBread I hadn't seen the shed forum until now, that's quite the discussion over there! I won't wade in, too many BME to be getting on with! 🤣

rhij86 · 06/02/2020 08:55

@ZetaPuppis the one for internet safety evaluator (I think that's what it was called anyway). It's assessing the relevance and appropriateness of search engine results.

rhij86 · 06/02/2020 08:57

@toastytea yes you get access to do the UHRS tests after a while - I signed up for clickworkers mid Sept and did the UHRS tests beginning of this week (not sure how long they were there for though, poss a couple of weeks).

Pay rate is not great, typically $0,03 - $0.08 per task, but they take seconds, if you go at the speed they recommend you're looking at about $14 an hour, so the same as most appen tasks.

toastytea · 06/02/2020 09:15

@rhij86 oh right! Do you think that you have to be active on it to get access to uhrs?

Good luck with LB results!!

Februarycat · 06/02/2020 09:18

@devonport12 I had an e mail from Neevo this week about a task but it was taking pictures, like the clickworker ones, and I don't do those ones. Prolific does seem quiet I have had the odd survey but not many

rhij86 · 06/02/2020 09:24

@toastytea I was pretty active on it in the beginning when we had a load of pinterest tasks to do - that was a great earner! But before this week, the last time I did anything on there was 9th December. I logged in a couple of times a week to see if there was anything on there worth doing but nothing else.

anxiouswaiting · 06/02/2020 09:44

Appen are getting worse and worse Angry Ive now had my invoice sent back for modification as they say I did about 3.5 hours less than I actually did on Inari last month. How on earth am I meant to modify it when it was correct to start with and they havent told me which days they (wrongly) think I worked less?

toastytea · 06/02/2020 09:45

@rhij86 I might sign up again then and see what happens!!

rhij86 · 06/02/2020 09:50

@anxiouswaiting what an absolute nightmare!! :(

Apricotfool · 06/02/2020 09:53

I just got a new free trade for Ocado for £12!

Wolfff · 06/02/2020 09:59

@anxiouswaiting

I had an email this morning stating that my invoice was approved but it's still showing as ready for review.

Do you keep screen shots of your last task each day? I do so and I think I might screen shot the first one as well.

justtheonethen · 06/02/2020 10:07

@Sallycinnamum do Nile for sure. Piece of piss and never takes an hour Wink

SNISR · 06/02/2020 10:11

Another Freetrade link if anyone needs one. Please top up with £1. 🙂

I'm so glad that Moneyshed had gone. Trying to make out that it he was banned because of his gender is a bit childish really. He was banned because he was here to help himself, not others!

Anyway I have signed up to few companies using links posted by other MN's - would appreciate it if anyone clicks on mine :)

Hello Garlic Bread, its hanna mantana here. Yes I did report you. I reported you for saying horrible things about the way someone looked. To have a complete stranger comment on how I look would affect me hugely and that kind of negativity can be harmful to someone's mental health whether they are male of female. It was actually also highly irrelevant to the discussion and childish. I'm not vying for your blood whatsoever, I have zero issues with anyone and I actually pop onto MumsNet from time to time so there is no "them and us" mentality. I certainly wouldn't come on here to have a go but wanted to explain my actions in person (well, virtually).
