Well done @Lougle. You work really hard on there, you deserve it. I messed up yesterday and in my excitement, I somehow claimed the wrong sort of slot apparently. I didn't realise. I still submitted a bug but not sure if I'll get paid now. Really annoyed with myself. I still struggle with UTest and find it a bit confusing.

@DollyDiddles I think it's wise to keep a log of it, I've often had issues with Amazon ones tracking... then me losing track of them.

@ZetaPuppis I don't want to give out false hope, but I'm sure lots of people have been offered a re-sit if they've not passed first time. Hope you feel better soon.

I can see both sides about themoneyshed. I think I'm probably a bit blind to it because I'm not on here as much as I'd like to be, and I remember finding him so helpful when I was just starting out.

Ah well! Onwards and upwards I stumbled across a lovely motivational Instagram yesterday, myfrugalyear, about a woman paying down £27k's worth of debt. She's written a book I've pre ordered so I can share anything good in there with you lot...

@DollyDiddles great post, now I hope I didn't use any @themoneyshed referral links I must admit, for getting started on MB, the Team Profit website explains it all much more easily than The Money Shed does anyway!

Can I ask all Utesters a few questions please.
1, do you do the testing on your phone or computer?
2, what you use to highlight your bugs if you do the test cycle thing on your phone. It says circle, square or arrow so have you downloaded an app to do this?

I've done my academy quizzes and moving on to do the practice cycles now.

Anyone else new to untest like me?

@SNISR I'm kind of new as I've done some of the academy. I use a laptop and made around £30 last month. It was providing voice utterances - you might also have done that one?!

I want to start using it more as I had quite a few invites last week but haven't had the time!

I've fudged a few things lately, instant rejection from LB and failed ISS.

Still waiting for work on a project from Appen that was supposed to come in end of jan! Anyone else waiting for that one?

Quick Lionbridge question, I got invited to do the test for the Social Media Evaluator back in Jan, filled everything in, but have heard nothing back. A couple of times when I've checked the WorkMarket app, there has been some transcription tasks on there so I've pressed the apply button (that's all I can see to do, no further buttons) but within a couple of hours I get a notification to say the tasks are no longer available. It's happened twice now, has anyone else experienced this?

@toastytea I'm also waiting on that one.
@Boobahs I've not had that - how frustrating!! I completed a full application for one, at which point they said the job was no longer being recruited for but then a few hours later had an invitation for something else. Hope something comes through for you soon!

@rhij86 I think I already asked this but you may have missed it - did you take your time with the LB applications? I'm just wondering where I went wrong! I only applied for the one but was wondering if I should have spent longer on the questionnaire at the end.

@toastytea think I missed it sorry!! I didn't spend too long on the application itself at all. Do you mean the 'freestyle' box at the end where it asks why you would be good for the role? I probably spent 5-10min on it, only wrote a short paragraph.

@SNISR, I do the test on my phone or computer, depending on the criteria for the test case. When I use my phone I save the screen shots / videos and then annotate them on the computer. I use 'snip & sketch'.
I have finally received a rating on UTest so pleased with that anyway.
MB was stressful last night. One of the sites I'd placed my trigger bet with didn't pay out when my team won as the match went to extra time and apparently they have to win in 90 mins . I have however received £20 in free bets so not all bad.

@Catatemyhomework was that the Newcastle game? I've been looking at my bet, wondering why I didn't get paid my winnings and didn't get my free bet. Didn't know about the 90 mins thing! I'll contact them.

@Catatemyhomework Does that mean we're a bit down because we would have paid out at the exchange?

I wonder if UHRS kicks you off if they think you're working too fast?
Yesterday I did 71 with only 1 wrong in about 10-15min and was kicked off. Today I've done 152 (4 wrong) in an hour and it's letting me stay on for now crosses fingers

@rhiji86 yeah I just treated it as a screening process really. I probably spent less than 5 mins on that last bit eek. I zipped through it cos I did it during nap time! It was a pretty immediate unsuccessful 🤷🏻‍♀️

@rhij86 I also wondered about the UHRS thing and getting kicked off if we're working too quickly. I will try it a bit slower today, thanks.

I must be really dense. I don't understand the UHRS thing. Help?! I failed the first qualification because I don't get it.
