@obviouslymarvellous

Same here, I tried first thing this morning and just tried again but no luck. Thought it was a problem my end but doesn't look like it.

Tapbath · 05/11/2019 14:16

Clickworker is working for me on the pc but just spinning on my phone.

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 05/11/2019 14:22

Clickworrker is working fine on m phone. I am disco of searching for the same woman over and over though. Never heard of her until this!

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 05/11/2019 14:23

Jeez, cold hand make for terrible typing! Tired, not disco too!

Kerrieanne85 · 05/11/2019 15:08

Hi everyone

Has anyone had any luck with getting onto Crisp I passed the test October 3rd but haven't heard anything since.

toastytea · 05/11/2019 15:15

For anyone who isn't on Appen yet but wants to apply:

https://connect.appen.com/qrp/public/jobs?uref=7ba3f2bcfe2c059bd58a1b3df0f06b8c

That's a referral link where I get 25$ once you complete 150 hours of work.

Just thought I'd put it out there! Feel free to ignore BlushSmile

TheCanterburyWhales · 05/11/2019 16:33

Got very excited about being accepted onto Appen Porter project (seems to be a Noyo style quickie, but still...) except link takes me to an error page not found wotsit.
Hey ho, will try again tomorrow.

AdaShelby · 05/11/2019 16:59

@Kerrieanne85 SIL passed the crisp test back in May and hasn't heard yet.

She's desperate to join.

@sunnyflowerblooming do you work for that honey app? I've not heard of it.

MrsWombat · 05/11/2019 17:11

I gave up on waiting for Bane so I submitted the invoice yesterday but it's appeared on there today. It's recorded 13 mins for the 3 questions (one task) and I got $3.03 which I hope is a proportion of $14 an hour. Superdooper. Just need some more now.

IsolaPribby · 05/11/2019 19:26

Is Crisp the same as Crispthinking? How do you apply for Crisp?

rhij86 · 05/11/2019 19:49

Link for a respondent survey. $100 for 10min x 3 days to test a music streaming service:
app.respondent.io/respondents/projects/view/5dc1c2687c6638002a7e0671/seeking-uk-feedback-on-a-new-ad-campaign?referralCode=rhiannonjones-f012ff768a9a

That honeygain thing looks legit. Found a few news articles about it. I've signed up. Referral code: dashboard.honeygain.com/ref/RHIAN579

rhij86 · 05/11/2019 19:50

@IsolaPribby yes Crisp and Crisp thinking are the same thing. If you google Crisp thinking there is a link on their website to sign up, you go through a 20 question test and if you pass you go on their waiting list

DontCallMeDarling · 05/11/2019 20:09

@Kerrieanne85 there are quite a few people who have been lucky enough to get on Crisp and make some decent money and then there are others like me who passed the test back in June and then took it again early October and have heard nothing. It's just one of those things! I hope we both hear soon.

I've applied for intellizoom, just took the practice study, fingers crossed I didn't mess it up. And also just joined testingtime, anyone heard of them before? Here's my referral if anyone is interested:

app.testingtime.com/r/rec-af-NEkojvjP

I've decided best to try lots of other things now as Crisp may never happen and I don't think I am cut out for 'adult' chat Grin

MoreMoneyPlease · 05/11/2019 20:17

@rhij86 I've applied for the respondent survey but I won't hold my breath, I haven't had any luck with them! I'm not going well on anything at the moment, think I need to go through the list again and make sure I'm not missing anything.

rhij86 · 05/11/2019 20:21

@MoreMoneyPlease fingers crossed - you never know!

Niyamamama · 05/11/2019 20:39

Hello all Smile Newbie here, I've done the Crisp test and got 19 so just hoping to hear back. I've also signed up to Appen, isoftstone, clickworker and waiting for paperwork from cloudworker🤞

I've have a question about respondent, I got accepted onto the Skybet survey and completed it but it still shows as 'invited' In the my projects bit, does it change to completed? How do I know if I did it right and they accepted it?

obviouslymarvellous · 05/11/2019 20:40

Thankyou for the comments about clickworker at least I know! Bit of news lionbridge have asked me to do the exam as they think I my be suitable! Pray for me as the last Appen test went tits up! I'm just hoping this isn't as complicated!!! Says I have a week to do it and 10 hours of study required. Is it really difficult? In a panic already Confused

@rhij86
Thank you for the respondent link. I've just done the screener for it.
Waiting on 3 others from them too - don't know how long before/if we hear but at the end of the day they have to pick someone.
I was unsure about honeygain too after reading some reviews on them.

BlockRockinBeats · 05/11/2019 20:54

Evening everyone!

Just replying to people who responded to me last night.

@LivingDeadGirlUK On the OMDosh gambling stuff, you usually have to wager (ie spend) your deposit money and any bonus that you get given as part of the new customer offer. So, if you have to deposit and wager your first deposit of £20, you must spend it all on one of the slots or on roulette etc. If they give you a welcome bonus, say another £20, you must also spend that. Most of the time, I have won something and end up in profit after doing all the wagering (spending the deposit money plus any bonus). Then you get your cashback from OMDosh a few weeks later so even more profit. If you are confused by any offer, just put it on here and either I or someone else will help you.

@Frenchdoors1 I am not sure about how using Paypal works on your phone whist running the Mobile Expression thing. I have used it since Feb and have had no problem. @Otterses will probably know more about it as she has been using it for ages. I imagine they just get to see what websites you use, not any passwords or personal data or else nobody would join plus it doesn't sound legal.

@sunnyflowerblooming Thank you for the info on the Honeygain app (I think it was you!). I shall look into it.

@SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock Thank you for the monese info. Will check it out.

Someone asked for new ideas...

Along the same lines as Revolut and Monese banking apps, I joined Curve this week. This is a banking app with a Mastercard attached. You link your various debit / credit cards to it and then you can just use your Curve Debit card to make payments in shops and online. You can choose which bank / credit card account you want to use and the app keeps a list of all your transactions. I got the card today (the basic blue one is free) and just have to wait to verify it. Once I make a purchase using it, I get a cash reward.

If you sign up to get a Curve card using my referral mode copied below, both you and I will get a bonus £5 cash credited to our card once we both make a purchase with our new card. Not much work for a free fiver! Plus the card actually sounds really useful. It can basically replace all your other cards so you just have to take the one card out to access all you money.

Frenchdoors1 · 05/11/2019 21:00

Thank you @BlockRockinBeats
Yes, they probably just see which websites you go on or like you say nobody would use it etc.

Fizbo · 05/11/2019 21:01

Me again! Has anyone been on cloudworkers since the new chat interface has been on? I've given up for tonight it keeps jumping about all over the place between messages when I'm half way through writing them 😬 the queue is 1400 so I'm wondering if the site is buckling under the pressure. If it does it again tomorrow I will email but they take ages to reply anyway.

Also did anyone on Peppermint manage to get any work in the end? I managed 250 tasks but they are only on the figure eight site, and the consensus on the chat site is that we still need to invoice 😩 when will this get easier?!

LivingDeadGirlUK · 05/11/2019 21:01

thanks @Frenchdoors1 :)

BlockRockinBeats · 05/11/2019 21:07

I have checked out the Honeygain app and it appears it can only be downloaded to Windows, Mac, and Android so I can't get it on my ipad or iphone.

It also says that it will not work if you are running a VPN (Virtual Privacy Network), which is what MobileExpressions puts on your phone to monitor your website use. Since I use this on my ipone, seems I cannot join. Bum!

IsolaPribby · 05/11/2019 21:19

So I did the Crisp test, and it emailed me back to say I was on the waiting list. But it also said that the pass mark was 19, and I had scored only 17, so am now a bit confused. Has anyone else had this?

BlockRockinBeats · 05/11/2019 21:26

@IsolaPribby yes, I had that. You basically have to keep trying until you get 19 points. It makes you think you are on a waiting list but you are not, I don't think. Keep retesting. It took me a good few goes. Tip...some questions have more then one risk...good luck!
