Just received an email from appen regarding the Bane project invoice.

shurtlegreen31 · 05/11/2019 08:33

Thanks, girls. I found some cool advice here! What I do to earn money online is that I use Honeygain app on my smartphone, laptop and use the referral program - dashboard.honeygain.com/ref/KAIDE2C3. This provides me an opportunity to earn about 40$ a month without doing much. I started using it after maternity leave just to get some random income for daily use.

seizethecuttlefish · 05/11/2019 08:52

@Frenchdoors1 I saw that. Still no Bane on my invoice and it looks like you need to wait till 3am PST to email them. I submitted my invoice yesterday as I didn't want to miss it 😬

Frenchdoors1 · 05/11/2019 08:57

@seizethecuttlefish
So, Bane isn't showing up on your invoice?
This is my first ever task with appen.
Do I have to submit the invoice?

2littleChicks · 05/11/2019 09:09

@Fizbo if you're doing the 12 hours a week what are you roughly earning out of that?

sunnyflowerblooming · 05/11/2019 09:43

That's true. At the very beginning I was skeptical about all the passive income apps but Honeygain has changed my mind. The answer why it did is that I saw the real income coming to my account. Then I started using the referral program you have mentioned. I invited my friends (I had a group of pregnant friends and we were constantly trying to find new ways to earn online) with a personalized link and 10% of their daily earnings were added to your account. That's how each of use started getting nice income.
So I believe it's a nice time to add Honeygain to your Christmas countdown list.

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 05/11/2019 09:48

Bane showed up on my invoice at exactly 8 am! I was on the website at the time and it suddenly appeared. That was midnight PST.

Fizbo · 05/11/2019 09:49

@2littleChicks it's hard to say for sure as you are paid by message not time and I did more then 12 hours sometimes as I just stayed online because it was busy. I only really do evenings on there.

At a guess if I send 45 messages a hour that's a measly £3.60 as you are paid in euros so it's actually 8p per message this is why I am so keen to find out where I'm going wrong as it's hardly worth it.

A prime example of time wasting is when someone is having a very sexual conversation then they log off half way through, then the next person comes in and starts having a go at the man saying things like 'don't be so disrespectful to me, I don't like that sort of talk' they then log off I get the message from the now confused man and have to try and rectify the situation. So it's not always as simple as just reading the previous message.

I would say the conversation is mostly sexual but I only go on in the evenings so that may have something to do with it as people are at home and probably more comfortable with what they say.
I honestly don't find it offensive though it's very much 50 shades rather then hard core porn.

I'm going to go on tonight with no distractions and see if I can hit a higher amount.

@Fizbo I think it can depend greatly on the amount of traffic too, if there are lots of messages waiting it seems to fire them through instantly, whereas if it's 100-200 it's slower. I get distracted easily when doing it so recommend no TV and maybe some motivational music on in the background Grin

They sent a message to me last week saying if I didn't book shifts they were going to remove me from the platform but I'm still on there. They're very much "boy who cried wolf"

SiriusBlackAndHisHippogriff · 05/11/2019 10:26

Watching with interest. I've just quit my job so we'll be on one income from January. I am thinking of setting myself up as a Virtual Assistant but will do anything to tide us over!

ScoutFinchsHam · 05/11/2019 10:29

I've just spent an hour of my life doing a test video for UserTesting where I waffled on expansively for half an hour before realising there was a 'Next' button and I should have moved on...and waiting ages for my test video to upload. Now I've read reviews that it's crap and a scam!

Fizbo · 05/11/2019 10:39

Thanks @TheLolaMontez I am going to persevere with it for another month

alwayscauseastir · 05/11/2019 10:41

@ScoutFinchsHam I'm having the same problem with Appen, I click on "work this" but the link doesn't work. I've been accepted into four Appen programmes but I've heard nothing since, so no income as yet.

TheLolaMontez · 05/11/2019 10:43

@ScoutFinchsHam if it's reassuring to you, I've done 3 or 4 tests for user testing and always been paid etc

ScoutFinchsHam · 05/11/2019 10:49

@TheLolaMontez Thank you, that IS reassuring as I've just read some really terrible things about the company in reviews! Fingers crossed they like my inane waffling and accept me.

Oh Appen, Appen, Appen...you tease us with your multitude of projects...Please accept us, we would work hard and be great employees. Gis a job!

Good luck with it @alwayscauseastir and everyone else.

TheLolaMontez · 05/11/2019 10:51

My payment preference for them is via PayPal and never had an issue Smile

HazySunsets · 05/11/2019 10:52

Hi All,

Newbie here. I signed up to Appen a couple of weeks ago and have been invited to so work on the Noyo project (the FB one) haven’t participated yet as I’m a bit worried about them needing access to my FB Page? It is kocher isn’t it?

TheLolaMontez · 05/11/2019 10:52

I've also made some mistakes on their website tests and waffled when I should have pressed next but they still paid me Halloween Wink

3dogsnorth · 05/11/2019 10:53

Anyone on Utest? Trying to sign up but I get to step 4 to complete and nothing happens. Tried on my phone and PC and both the same. Help!!!! Please!!!

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 05/11/2019 11:05

Appen is definitely fine. They need access to facebook for very good reasons.

Appen have a lot of clients including well known social media sites, just sayin' :-)

MoreMoneyPlease · 05/11/2019 12:00

Just looked at my Appen invoice page, I had totally forgotten about doing the Bane tasks! It says Bane is auto generated but there's a section for "# of Piece Rate Tasks" which looks like it needs to be filled out (I don't know the answer to this anyway!) Will I get paid if I do nothing or do I somehow need to submit the invoice?

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 05/11/2019 13:23

Bane doesn't use the piece rate column so don't worry about that. It's only for some projects.

obviouslymarvellous · 05/11/2019 13:45

Can anyone get into clickworker? It's just spinning round and won't let me in :( bad start to the week no Intellizooms and just a couple prolific

Anyone do cloudworker during the day? I ls it very busy? I am finding Crisp so slow in the day and wondering if that time is better spent on something else.
