Not strictly earning, but for those that haven’t tried cashback apps for food, Shopmium is quite a good one.

I browse through all the offers and pop into the relevant supermarket, purchase any products that I am interested in, take them home and then scan the products barcode and upload a photo of my receipt and the cashback is paid quickly into my paypal account.

I have had cat food, primular cheese, chocolate, yoghurt, veggie burgers and other things. If anyone is interested please could you use my referral code? It’s h6e48 and you will get a refund for a tub of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream when you purchase it and upload your receipt.

There are other similar apps such as Green Jinn, Checkout Smart and Click Snap as well. But Shopmium seems to have the best offers.

Thanks

@2littleChicks. I am a few days in and I'm starting to get the hang of it. It's a great platform to log in and earn and if you are available there seems to be the work there 24hrs a day. I am a bit slow sending messages as I read previous notes to try to ensure there is consistency but I'm starting to grasp that not many others are doing the same. I would definitely put an application in.

2littleChicks · 10/11/2019 21:04

@Madre77 I think I'm gonna give it a go and send my paperwork back tomorrow. Do you have any problems getting paid by PayPal? Sorry so many questions!

Madre77 · 11/11/2019 04:05

@2littleChicks payment is monthly and I have not had that yet so cannot comment I'm afraid. Please ask away as I am happy to help.

Is anyone working two of the Appen 20 hour projects together? I've had a invite to do the test for a third which is one that I believe can be worked alongside the one I'm doin now, but if I am to be honest I'm finding it quite tricky so I'm not sure I'll manage two if they are all this hard. So I'm wondering if some are easier than others and how people are finding working two together?

obviouslymarvellous · 11/11/2019 07:22

Morning - so Appen have said today or tomorrow for details for srt (yay!) hope it's not too hard though I found the test very difficult. Does anyone work for lionbridge? I've got their exam paperwork access this week and then "the test" is this more of a permanent role or just like Appen? Good luck to you all making some cash this week Grinfinding this month a bit slow up to now!

@obviouslymarvellous check your spam - I've had the same email and the sign up emails for the tool were in my junk box.

obviouslymarvellous · 11/11/2019 07:53

Hmm,
I passed the test for my project on Thursday and I am still waiting for the link to the tool. Just raised a ticket. I haven't received any emails apart fro the welcome ones on Thursday. This is for one of the 20 hour projects.

Countrygirl94 · 11/11/2019 08:00

One advantage of having been up all night with a baby that would only sleep on me is I managed to pass the one of the Forester tests! 😆 hoping I actually get work from it as haven't got login details for Caledon and passed that last week. 😞
How is everyone else getting on?

toastytea · 11/11/2019 08:48

@starlight2004 I've dipped into two at the same time now and I agree. I would prefer to just do one but I was worried one task would end quickly and I'd be left with none!

rhij86 · 11/11/2019 08:52

@Wolfff hope you hear back soon!

Anyone know when appen pay day is?

Bemystarlord · 11/11/2019 09:02

@rhij86 i think it will be the 13th or 14th this month

Any crispers know when we receive invoices? I thought it was the 10th?

rhij86 · 11/11/2019 09:07

Is anyone doing one of the self-invoicing projects on Appen? Can I PM you?

rhij86 · 11/11/2019 09:08

Thanks @Bemystarlord, I'll keep an eye out later on this week.

Otterses · 11/11/2019 09:08

@rhij86 it'll be this week at some point, it's usually the 15th, but it's been around the 11th/12th the last few times.

@Bemystarlord invoices again I think they say anytime from the 15th? But again they've been early the last few times.

Bemystarlord · 11/11/2019 09:13

@Otterses thank you. think most of last months was training data, do you know if they pay for that?

Frenchdoors1 · 11/11/2019 09:20

Has Anyone had the notification on Payoneer to show their ID??!!
Appen set me up with payoneer for payment, I then had a message saying my payoneer account had been approved but now it's say they want ID.

rhij86 · 11/11/2019 09:22

@Otterses thanks :)

CatHopeful · 11/11/2019 09:23

Crisp invoices are within ten business days, so weshould have them by Thursday I think.

I had my SRT email from Appen so need to get my head around that at some point today.

Fizbo · 11/11/2019 10:17

@Frenchdoors1 yes I had that yesterday, it was very easy to do I just took a picture of my drivers license and they accepted it straight away

Fizbo · 11/11/2019 10:23

A tip for anyone on cloudworkers, I was invited to one of the other platforms where you send longer messages 120 characters I think. Anyway I actually send these from my phone which is a great way to bump up messages. On the days I'm at work I send a few messages on my break. I don't think you are meant to use your phone but I got paid yesterday and they paid me the right amount.
A warning though, these messages are all very explicit and there are lots of photographs on there so not for those who already find the regular platform explicit.

Frenchdoors1 · 11/11/2019 10:44

@Fizbo

Thanks but, I don't drive. Passport has expired and I don't have the ID with photograph on like they ask for.

2littleChicks · 11/11/2019 10:44

@Fizbo is this another platform on Cloudworkers? Also, great tip about using your phone. Can I ask what you're roughly making each month? And how much you have to work to get that.
I'm just sending my paperwork as we speak and that's a ball ache in itself!

Fizbo · 11/11/2019 10:59

@2littleChicks I made around £160 the first month for about 2000 messages this is after it had been converted from Euros to pounds and after the PayPal fee. Last month for which I was paid yesterday was significantly less as I didn't send as many messages but I do think it would be easy enough to send 2000 a month and that is what I'm aiming for again this month, I'm one of the slower ones though and you will probably be quicker then me!
