Just had a payment through from Neevo just for the quiet validation task but hopefully the others will follow soon.

Bemystarlord · 07/11/2019 20:55

@Frenchdoors1 have you been paid for all the work you’ve done for Neevo?

GachaBread · 07/11/2019 20:55

@Frenchdoors1 try code LyliaRose for Roamler. That should get you in

@Bemystarlord
I've been paid for the quiet task, they said in the email that... 'if you haven't been paid for all tasks your remaining payment will be sent later'

@GachaBread

Ooh, thanks for that code, I shall do it now. Good job I mentioned it, after you mentioning Roamler of course Grin

toastytea · 07/11/2019 21:15

I'm wondering if we can do 20 hours minimum spread over the 3 new tasks on Appen rather than 20 hours minimum per task? They are all accessed via same tool and are connected?

I was wondering whether to bother do the third test because I wouldn't be able to do more than 20 hrs but if it's 20 hrs on any of them...

Frenchdoors1 · 07/11/2019 21:18

Just got an email for the Noisy task for Neevo. Have been paid.

I applied for Cloudworkers, got an email response saying great let me know if you're up for it and email me back so we can send the relevant paperwork. I replied immediately and it's been three days I've heard nothing! How long did this take for other people?

rhij86 · 07/11/2019 21:32

@bemystarlord @frenchdoors1 I didn't get around to doing much of the validation ones at all, they were sending me to sleep! And I couldn't hear them properly with the baby shouting in the background lol.

I did 554 of the noisy ones and they've paid me for 553... remaining payment to follow... for $0.02 lol

Frenchdoors1 · 07/11/2019 21:34

@GachaBread
I've just put the code that you gave me in Roamler, thanks. Haha, I watched the demonstration video, and was that lad the only person in the store!! No wonder he took great pics lol.

Bemystarlord · 07/11/2019 21:35

@rhij86 lol it was pretty mind numbing 🤣. Noisy ones paid for now so just the actual speech task left to go.

Frenchdoors1 · 07/11/2019 21:44

@rhij86
Lol Grin

Well I've had both payments now, the quiet and the noisy. I did absolutely loads, I kept going back to the app to see if I had done them all and more kept appearing, so I've done 1524 at $30.48, and 1717 at $34.34.
Can't believe it! I ran the risk of not getting paid for the extra but I had nothing to lose really, I had the spare time.

toastytea · 07/11/2019 21:46

@Buster27 ooh thanks!! I'll have a look at faqs then. I'm currently halfway through third test and wishing I hadn't started!! Meeeeh

MoneyM · 07/11/2019 21:49

@rhij86 @Frenchdoors1 @Bemystarlord I've just had payment through for the noisy validation ($6 for [email protected]). Didn't do the quiet validation but did the noisy and quiet original speech ones. Have you guys had separate emails for payments for the different tasks?

GachaBread · 07/11/2019 21:52

@Frenchdoors1 I am glad you are on. But I can not remember that video unless they have updated things. Level 1 you have to do a few unpaid tasks and then when they are done you will get on level 2 which are all full paying but Roamlers tasks are not easy. I would gain more experience before you try them out.

@2littlechicks some people have got on cloudworkers really quick. It took me a month and a half. I sent back all responses within a day of their emails being sent to me and it took ages. I gave up and believed they were not going to take me on when one Sunday I got the news. They need people like mad because their traffic is crazy on the nights. My friend has replied to the email you have received and it took 3 weeks for them to send the next one out requesting documents. Hopefully they will be faster in your case but I would not worry you will hear something from them soon .

Frenchdoors1 · 07/11/2019 21:54

@MoneyM
Yes, I had the first email saying about the noisy ones then about 15 mins later had another email about the quiet ones.

But like rhij86 said, there are the validation ones to come through yet - I forgot all about those for some reason.

MoneyM · 07/11/2019 21:58

@Frenchdoors1 Ah strange, I've had payment for the $0.02 validation ones (well, only 1 as I only did 1 out of the 2 available) but not the $0.06 original speech ones. I can just picture some poor person somewhere working through these payments manually...now that would be soup destroying!

2littleChicks · 07/11/2019 22:01

@GachaBread thank you!

Frenchdoors1 · 07/11/2019 22:08

@MoneyM
It says validation on mine, for the quiet and noisy.rhij86 means we are still due the payment for the ones where 'we' had to listen to all the people talking - if they were clear enough etc.
But that should be in the near future.

Frenchdoors1 · 07/11/2019 22:10

And, yes too someone sorting out all the payments! Cake for them.

Buster27 · 07/11/2019 22:18

@toastytea it might well be worth it, at least you'll have an extra option if work dries up in one (or more) of the projects!

AliciaWhiskers · 07/11/2019 22:26

@MoneyM same here - I've been paid for the ones I validated, and not yet paid for the ones I did/spoke
