I'm slightly concerned about having to track my own hours for this project! At least with truckee it's technically paid per task. I use Toggl for my other projects to track my hours so might be worth looking at that if you need a time tracker.

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 07/11/2019 17:54

I took Elkhorn as i am more familiar with the platform and there were less guidelines!

anxiouswaiting · 07/11/2019 17:55

Appens put some new projects on for people in Scotland if any of you might qualify for that?

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 07/11/2019 18:00

@MrsWombat thanks, i've signed up for the free version of toggl. Looks good.

alwayscauseastir · 07/11/2019 18:38

I've applied for 6 projects on Appen, all have been pending now for about 2 weeks with no further communication from them. I'm eager to get started, so it's frustrating.

lannister · 07/11/2019 18:42

@justtheonethen and @Buster27. I have re-applied for Crisp using a different email & took the test 10 times changing answers each time. Still got 18 smh. I really have no clue how I managed to get 19 in May. I've just given up now. Hopefully they remember me & Appen too.
Congratulations @justtheonethen by the way.

lannister · 07/11/2019 18:50

No idea why everything above came out boldShock

GachaBread · 07/11/2019 18:54

Appen seems to be on fire at the moment. Glad your all set to make some money.

BeMyEye has been good to me today. Made £60 today in 3 hours minus around £6 in petrol. If nobody takes 3 further jobs that I am watching then I will be able to book them at 8pm tonight ready to do for tomorrow morning so that will be an extra £18 to go in the kitty.

Did another job today with grass roots for £20 too which took 15minutes to do. I had to go into a gym local to me and ask for a tour of the facilities. I was so impressed that I will take up a membership their and start a new chapter in my life of getting fit come the new year. So it's a win win all round.

I am 1 month into giving up smoking cigarettes too and I have just done 7 days without a nicotine patch on so got all the money back from not smoking too.

I feel like a new person.

This Christmas for me will be a good one where I do not have to touch my credit cards for the first time in a long time.

Roll on all this lovely money making.

lannister · 07/11/2019 18:56

If anyone hasn't got Revolut, you can sign up with my link and get £15 after your first purchase with your free Revolut card

DontCallMeDarling · 07/11/2019 18:58

I took one of the Appen tests, I assume if it appears in your qualified project list then you've passed! I did not find that test straightforward at all! I have another test to do and like others, I am not sure whether to take it or not! Like others, I've been here before so fingers crossed it was worth the effort.

Good luck to everyone still to take one of these tests

rhij86 · 07/11/2019 19:03

@GachaBread I downloaded Bemyeye before but got rid of it. You've inspired me to get it again :)

MoreMoneyPlease · 07/11/2019 19:10

Another bank referral if anyone wants to sign up to Monese, we both get £15 after your first purchase. It was even quicker to sign up to than Revolut for an easy £15! monese.app.link/492ro7MW70?invite=JACQU119

Frenchdoors1 · 07/11/2019 19:16

@GachaBread
Well done on quitting the cigs, keep it up, you won't regret it.
Also, well done on all your Bemyeye tasks.
I read up on what they want you to do, take pics etc, remain inconspicuous.. How on earth can you avoid a member of staff seeing you taking pics, it could be all clear, then one could just appear from nowhere?! Hmm

happycamper11 · 07/11/2019 19:37

So I've made a start - Qmee, shoppix and toluna so far. Quick question- can you do receipts for online shopping on shoppix and if so how? Also does anyone have a Roamler invite?

Also stay clear of any mobile phone jobs or pets at home jobs. Too many questions for too little reward. Remember any job with over 20 questions is not worth your time. If you get something wrong the app will not let you go back to correct it so take your time or you might as well just give up the job on BeMyEye

Frenchdoors1 · 07/11/2019 19:58

@GachaBread
Thank you for explaining everything to me- and others Smile

I thought exactly the same about the Currys/PC World ones, you have to do so much from entering the store and asking lots of questions and looking for x named store assistant, I would forget half of it and then concentrate too much and give myself away!
I have noticed they change during the day on the app, I was in a particular store yesterday and the Bemyeye app alerted me that I was in there and did I want to do this particular task, so I accepted the job, had a good nose around the plants and flowers and the ones they wanted me to look for weren't even there, so I would have quite easily done that task there and then.

justtheonethen · 07/11/2019 20:03

@lannister how annoying- remembering acronyms?

Countrygirl94 · 07/11/2019 20:06

@Buster27 I've got the Forester test to take. I failed Elkron though (thought that was simple when doing it haha!) so I don't think I've got much hope! Well done on passing!

GachaBread · 07/11/2019 20:07

@Frenchdoors1 now if they are not their then you just take pictures to show that they are not their then you would have got the £3.50. Do not listen to the notifications they send you either because the jobs go up before the notifications go out so always check. The flower power jobs are my favourite and drop on a Thursday morning between 9am and 11@m. Sometimes you can bag two in the same store. Always check check check the app. Every half hour I check. And with the run up to Xmas you will nab jobs when you are out doing your normal shopping. If a shop is also closed down book it as they pay you for that too. So no wasted journeys.

Frenchdoors1 · 07/11/2019 20:14

@GachaBread
Hey..you've got this haven't you! 😁
Thanks for the fab tips.
It didn't say that if there weren't any there to still take a picture Hmm
I'll remember that one in future.
Thanks again

GachaBread · 07/11/2019 20:31

Once last thing when you book a job on BeMyEye their will a small little arrow. If you press it, it will take you to Google maps or whatever map app you are using on your phone so you will have sat nab to the job. Hope you and anyone who wants to get on it do well and when you have mastered it then you can move to the dark side which is Roamler. Happy mystery shopping guys x

Frenchdoors1 · 07/11/2019 20:48

@GachaBread Thank you.
I've actually got Roamler but it says I need a code and there are already enough in my area so they don't need anyone yet.

For those who did Neevo.. I've just received an email and have been paid
