Let's top up our bank balances for Christmas! It's the October earn £10 a day thread

Saw a few newcomers place marking on the previous thread, so a big welcome to them Smile

Christmas is just around the corner, and I'm sure we all could do with the extra earnings to pay for Christmas and keep us out of the January slump.

I'll copy and paste the first post of the previous thread as soon as I'm at a computer.

Has anyone got any targets in mind? I'm aiming for £20 a day, then hopefully £200 or so of 'extras'.

How the hell are people earning £800 a month on crisp? I make about 50 on a good month!

CandyLeBonBon · 04/10/2019 09:38

Still trying to fathom out what the niflwhatsit site is! Thanks for info re voice recordings

SNISR · 04/10/2019 10:47

Not sure if anyone is interested but jet2.com have work from home vacancies.

Otterses · 04/10/2019 10:50

@anothernamejeeves

A few factors come into play I think! Some people are lucky enough to be available to work during surges, which bumps up earnings. There's also doing spreadsheets and fixed shifts, which a few on here have been offered.

I average £400 ish a month, but I tend to do 4-6 hours Friday and Saturday late a night when the content is high.

Are you finding the content is quite low when you go on? You should definitely be able to make more than £50 on there Sad

@CandyLeBonBon

Nifltwhatsit is a task on Appen Smile

@anothernamejeeves I do shifts now so it's easy to make the money but before that I was still making £800-1000 a month on it with not much effort. I used to do an hour early morning before my baby woke and then an hour when she napped and then an hour in the evening. So £30 a day minimum, more if there was a surge on when I could work.
Early morning there is usually loads of content and often a surge so that's a good time to work.

How often are you working? And when?

MrsWombat · 04/10/2019 12:13

I've had two batches from Truckie on Appen this week with only 4/5 items on it. All stories rather than photo ads though. I'm hoping it's not running out of steam! Shock

Osquito · 04/10/2019 12:20

Hi all, finding this all very useful as currently stuck at home!

I’ve been ‘accepted’ on Crisp (about to begin the V——- bit) but I was wondering: does this count as being self-employed? Do I need to sort my own tax out on the earnings? Confused I may well end up making pennies but best to check!

Thank you all.

tinkywinkyshandbag · 04/10/2019 14:51

Hi all, and thanks for the thread. I made a few quid on ebay last month, I've made a start on matched betting, and have just applied for an isoftstone place, but have given up on Appen, still waiting for Crisp if that ever comes to anything, can't face adult chat, and have given up on the surveys too, all the prolific ones pay peanuts and there haven't been any angelfish ones I was eligible for. I've found that looking into this has been quite time consuming for little reward so am focussing on matched betting for now.

rhij86 · 04/10/2019 15:09

@tinkywinkyshandbag

I have found the same - wasn't really sure of what was worth my time and what wasn't! I signed up to everything I could towards the end of September when I found the last thread. I've made a daily spreadsheet for October and going to mark off if I've checked the site/app, if I had any 'work' and if I've been paid anything.
By the end of the month it should be pretty clear what the good earners are and what are a waste of time, and I can head into November with a better idea of what to do!

Good luck with the matched betting :) I've just started back after a few months break.

SNISR · 04/10/2019 17:06

@Osquito that's great news! when did you apply for crisp and when were you accepted?

CatHopeful · 04/10/2019 17:28

Well done Osquito -yes you're classed as a freelancer, so self employed.

I have booked some shifts with Crisp next week for the first time. Feeling really nervous about it.

Osquito · 04/10/2019 17:29

@SNISR I think I did the test a few weeks back, nothing longer than that... and I forgot about it until I got an email on Weds!

SNISR · 04/10/2019 17:33

@Osquito oh wow that's fab! People have been waiting for months. You're so lucky.

SNISR · 04/10/2019 17:34

Is anyone else having trouble with innari-C ratings on Instagram? It's just not loading for me. It was fine in the morning I checked. Anyone else?

Wolfff · 04/10/2019 18:38

I don't work that project but it kept happening on my project a few weeks ago. Send a ticket also check the chat room thing for your project to see if others have the same?

SNISR · 04/10/2019 18:45

Thank you @Wolfff

How do we check the chat thing? I've never done it before.

Elmosonfire · 04/10/2019 19:29

Got the assessment for Crisp coming up having done the training online. Am really nervous about how difficult it will be! Did those of you that have done it find you were unsure of each item or was it okay? The training materials seemed pretty clear but I have a bad feeling the reality will be a lot harder! Any advice is greatly appreciated!!

justtheonethen · 04/10/2019 19:33

@Elmosonfire honestly it was fine. You only have to do 60 in 30 minutes and I found it easy to do way more than that. There wasn't anything too tricky in there for me so hope it's the same for you. Good luck!

Elmosonfire · 04/10/2019 19:38

Thanks so much, Justtheonethen, that’s really reassuring. To be honest, it was seeing your brilliant earnings on Crisp that has inspired me to try and get into this! I just don’t want to fall at the first hurdle and actually fail the assessment!

SNISR · 04/10/2019 19:44

Wow a few people hearing back from crisp. That's a good sign I'm guessing for us who are waiting as seems as though they are recruiting again?

Elmosonfire · 04/10/2019 19:49

Fingers crossed you hear too @SNISR.

justtheonethen · 04/10/2019 19:56

@Elmosonfire it's been a total godsend for me. I find it easy to make money on and that means I haven't had to go back to work and can spend everyday with my baby...and can afford the next round of ivf! Good luck, let us know how it goes.

Wolfff · 04/10/2019 20:01

@SNISR

Main page, second button at the top 'social'.

Wolfff · 04/10/2019 20:04

@SNISR

Also at the very top of the page there's a button called 'chat'. If you click on that you can find a chat room for your project.
