Saw a few newcomers place marking on the previous thread, so a big welcome to them

Christmas is just around the corner, and I'm sure we all could do with the extra earnings to pay for Christmas and keep us out of the January slump.

I'll copy and paste the first post of the previous thread as soon as I'm at a computer.

Has anyone got any targets in mind? I'm aiming for £20 a day, then hopefully £200 or so of 'extras'.

Is anyone else getting adverts for Crisp showing up on their MN page?? Bit rich when they haven't accepted me for any work!

Just gone back onto clickworkers and the paid amount does seem to have caught up now.

Can I just say thanks to whoever said to check qmee on a computer as well as phone? I usually make £1.50 ish a day on there, made over £5 so far today!

I'm still to actually start working but have had emails to confirm I've been selected for Atascadero, noyo, Fletcher Minor and Niflheim. How long do you usually have to wait before you then receive the emails to get started please?

I've returned from my mornings outing, I've had another Etsy order! This time a mouse 🐭 😬 I could do with having someone who also knows how to crochet to help me out with these orders!
Hopefully get them done this afternoon, although DD is awake and she likes to "help" (eat my yarn) so we'll see how that goes 😂 also hoping to get on clickworker today at some point.

The website says it kicks off today but they follow US hours so i normally get emails from them overnight. Fingers crossed.

1. Is Appen worth the trouble with the pioneer and PayPal fees?

1. Is anyone else waiting for the cloudworker recruitment team to process their application? It's been 3 weeks now and nothing. (I have chased)

@Madre77 not sure about appen fees as they've only paid one project out to me so far ($5 for Noyo - I was surprised though as they didn't take any fees??)

I'm waiting for cloudworkers. I sent all my documents back just over a week ago and not heard anything since.

@rhij86 I only got £4.01 paid into my PayPal for the Noyo task!!

Just looked up the exchange rate...think I did get the full $5...

@Moremoneyplease yeah 4.01 is the full $5 with paypals exchange rate - I was expecting them to take about $2 off in fees!

@Madre77 Appen is definitely worth it but can take a while to get on a good project. I earned $390 last month and paid $3 in frees with payoneer. It's always $3 regardless of what you earn. Once exchanged to pounds and sent to my bank I think I took home £310 which isn't too bad based on the exchange rate.
As for Cloudworkers it seems they like people to start at the beginning of the month, they are ridiculously desperate for people at the moment so I'm sure they will be back in touch with you before long.
