I can't believe this has been going for nearly half a year!

As always, everyone is welcome to join us in earning an extra £10 a day Smile

There's hundreds of ways to manage this, but here is a list of some of the sites that are discussed frequently, and know caused some confusion for our new joiners last time.

Appen - a contracting website that offers a wide variety of work from social media evaluation, to voice based work. Please do not sign up to the Appen site you google, use this link, or you won't register correctly and you'll waste time waiting for projects that won't come your way.

https://connect.appen.com/qrp/public/jobs?uref=c48139fc0a25bae5d07c634d0a043f5b

(Full disclosure, that's my referral code and I get $25 if you are accepted and work for Appen for 150 hours, if anyone else would like to post their referral code feel free)

Axie Infinity - A crypto currency based game, the idea being that you breed 'creatures' battle them, then sell them on for profit to other gamers. Money can also be made through people renting land from you, or using your Axie to breed with theirs.

Leapforce - was Leapforce, now Appen.

Cloudworkers - Saucy chat site that pays per message.

Crisp - online website moderation, more information can be found here - https://survey.crispthinking.com/risk-analyst. There may also be references to the dashboard, Klipfolio and atlassian and slack, which are all tools used by crisp.

LionBridge - similar to Appen.

@Otterses, thanks for the tips. It's still not working though so I guess I will have to get on to them.

In better news I have passed the Crisp test on the third time of trying. I got 19 and have been added to their list! Be nice if I don't have to wait too long

FatandSassy · 26/06/2019 19:54

@Otterses thanks for that, we had a look through oddsmonkey by didn't get very far tbh. I'll sign up to profit accumulator now Smile
Do you know what the email thingy was called? It was Mike or something like that that was worth signing up for too? I've forgotten as I think it was way back on one of these older threads.

ShinyButtons · 26/06/2019 21:06

@FatandSassy Profit Accumulator is great for telling you what to do and explaining how. Also Matched betting free with team profit FB page has been great for asking questions when I've confused myself and giving some different offers.

m00rfarm · 26/06/2019 21:57

Hi everyone - I read this thread a few days ago, thought Crisp was the best fit. I got 19/20 on the first test, and received an email within a few hours asking me to take the course and do the tests at the end of each section. Did that today and have now received an email asking me to take the 30 minute test within the next two days. If I pass this (any hints and tips on what to expect would be welcome) then do I start straight away, or do I then go on the waiting list that I have seen everyone talking about? Thanks!

justtheonethen · 26/06/2019 22:16

@m00rfarm ooh you have bypassed the waiting list!

m00rfarm · 26/06/2019 22:24

Gosh. That sounds good. I can really do with the cash right now and I really enjoyed the tests. Does the 30 minute final test give you any time to familiarise yourself with the layout of the screens. I’ve read the overview but I’d really like to see it properly for a few minutes before I start.

Tohaveandtohold · 26/06/2019 22:33

Wow congratulations @m00rfarm, that’s so quick. I’ve been on the crisp waiting list since May and I’m just hoping they haven’t forgotten me.

TheLolaMontez · 26/06/2019 22:53

Evening all.
I've had a slow day today, again struggling to get motivated and finding that I don't really have a "go to" earner. I tried clickworkers again today but kept saying everything was full Sad

I've updated my Etsy shop again though, got some purses, dinosaurs and piggies on there now. Got some bees to add and other bits and bobs. Will hopefully get to those tomorrow Smile

Worlds0kayestmum · 26/06/2019 23:20

Hey, I've just come across this and wanted to say thanks. I've just got 20/20 on Crisp so fingers crossed I hear back this side of Christmas. I've got £21 this week on prolific which I started last Friday and at some point this week I'm going to attempt matched betting but I'm very nervous because I don't fully understand it yet!

anxiouswaiting · 26/06/2019 23:36

So I have access to the Fletcher EU transcription project now. They want me to transcribe 114 utterances an hour. How is that even possible Confused

Is anyone on it? Not sure if I will get kicked off for not meeting that target or if it is just a case that they will only pay me the hourly rate of $10.80 per 114 transcriptons

SorryDidISayThatOutLoud · 26/06/2019 23:54

I'm really cross with myself. I am pretty sure I have ballsed up on Crisp. I did the 30 minute test and I was crap. Oh well. GRRR though ☹️

Sparklfairy · 27/06/2019 00:39

SorryDidISayThatOutLoud I really wouldn't worry too much. I felt totally out of my depth too and even when I got in and started I was questioning myself constantly. I think where it's so sought after on this thread there's an added pressure, your head is screaming 'don't screw this up!!' which is not exactly helpful Smile I'll keep my fingers crossed for you Flowers

m00rfarm · 27/06/2019 05:20

Oh no. That’s what I’m worried about now. I guess I’ll just have to wait and see. Do you only get one chance with the 30 minute final test?

Bemystarlord · 27/06/2019 07:59

@anxiouswaiting you get paid a fixed amount per set of 98 so it doesnt matter if it takes you linger or you do it quicker you still get the same amount. I’ve found some batches i can do really quick but others take ages because they so alot more and mumbles and waffle lol.

m00rfarm · 27/06/2019 07:59

Hiya - just need to ask a question before I do my 30 minute test on Crisp. Reading through the final section showing the screen shots, there is an option "noise" - which has not appeared on any of the tutorials. Does anyone know what is the definition of "noise" for Crisp? Seems strange to show an option on the final screen shots which has not been mentioned in the tutorials.

justtheonethen · 27/06/2019 08:09

@m00rfarm noise isn't an option on the screen. I think that's just how they describe 'no risk'

m00rfarm · 27/06/2019 08:11

@justtheonethen - thanks :)

Otterses · 27/06/2019 08:15

@SorryDidISayThatOutLoud that is EXACTLY how you're supposed to feel after taking it Grin

I'm sure you did fine. I think the 30 minute test is so tricky as items lack context, which can make it tricky. Let us know how you got on!

@reddA I'm not sensing this is going to be a good weekend for you ... the forecast looks wonderful 😍

@TheLolaMontez any more thoughts on pumpkins? My second one has just sprouted out of the patch!

OP posts:
anxiouswaiting · 27/06/2019 08:23

@Bemystarlord are you on the EU one or the UK one? The e-mail said they expect 114 per hour for me rather than 98. Do you have varied batch sizes? I loaded some last night to listen and see what its like and there were only 9 in my batch

justtheonethen · 27/06/2019 08:24

@SorryDidISayThatOutLoud agree that I think we all felt like that after the test!

TheLolaMontez · 27/06/2019 08:30

Ooooh how exciting @Otterses Grin
Sadly I have had no more thoughts... I blame being too busy with everything else! Out of interest, how large is your patch?

Otterses · 27/06/2019 08:53

Not big at all @TheLolaMontez - only about 1x1 metres. Though I may live to regret the tiny plot if all the seeds take Grin

My dad grew pumpkins once and they took over nearly the whole lawn Blush he's not a very good gardener though Confused

m00rfarm · 27/06/2019 08:59

I agree about the 30 minute test - there is no context so I was going for no risk a lot of the time. Oh well - fingers crossed :) Wonder how long we have to wait to hear if we are in or not ...
